She charged me $55 for the haircut. A little communication can go a long way and due to her poor people skills I will not see her again. We didn't "discuss" anything about my hair color I asked for foil highlights she did a balayage no foil. There was no consultation she just started doing what she wanted. My hair is one inch past my shoulders, if you want to charge me extra because it's "so long and thick" that's no problem but you should definitely inform your client before the service that you are charging them so much extra. Any other salon I've been to has always offered purple shampoo when washing a blonde, I didn't want to change my tone, I understand what a toner does,I have always been offered purple shampoo when having my hair washed professionally.

Schedule at least 3 hours or more hours for a color and highlights. It's pretty much an all day thing. If you're used to going to a professional hairsalon this one's not it. All services are S-L-O-W. The 1st one on one private appointment that I remember was when I went into Manhattan with my parents to a wig shop to get my first custom wig to start pre-k. Paid in Full, no credit problems and generous tips. Their were minor issues over the course of the years including, hair system thining to rapidly, wrong color etc. Pat always was very responsive. In my opinion the last couple of years it seemed she was distracted by ongoing family illness and her own health problems. She also started an online clothing business. She told me at one point, that she wasn't taking any new clients and cutting back her hours, which was her prerogative. She also was having trouble with her contacts in Asia for acquiring the hair pieces. At this point in February 2020 Covid started being an issue with her business and getting her repairs back. She sent my one hair system out I believe in February or March,not sure. Then she closed do to covid in March, not her fault. I believe it was in June that according to state guidelines she could reopen, but she wasn't taking appointments and considered not reopening. At this point I was upset because for me not just a haircut/color, but my emotional wellbeing. Trying to find new "Salon" wasn't easy. I asked about my Hair piece and she said as soon as it came in she would ship to me free of charge. It finally came in August 2020. I had it put on 10/10/2020 and realized it was not my "repaired piece" but a cheap new one which is wrong color,wrong texture, wavy, not straight, gaps at base, wrong size. Horrible. My warning to future customers. "Beware''!
