I'm picky about my Duck gear and wear exclusively Nike for that. I found a good selection and was impressed. Nathan found one shirt, I believe. Everything else was mine. There's a single mirror in the women's section, that's completely hidden/camouflaged, and I had to ask where it was. There's no fitting room. My only saving grace is I was wearing multiple shirts, so I can try stuff on over them if needed. I was not impressed by this though. So douche (I forget his name, as he's not important enough to remember) previously worked with my husband. There was some sort of personality conflict between him and the managers. Somehow after listening to him, I could see why. Customer service is huge in my husband's job. This guy fit in far better at Oregon Sports, where he wasn't required to have any customer service skills. I was impressed by the selection in this store, although small and cramped, it deserves 3-4 stars. The customer service is a 1 star shit show. So that's why it gets 2 stars. Will I return? Probably, but not in the near future. My husband already paid a small fortune for his whim. I doubt he'll be excited to let me in there loose again. Lol.

He spotted a duck hat in his size immediately and put it on backwards (never wearing a hat before in his young life) kid amazes me! Next to that are clothes mostly for girls it felt..or unisex..I just didn't see what I was looking for in his size..I asked the girl if I was just not seeing "little kid or boy stuff" at this point she was already irritated that my son was playing with every ball in sight..I was letting him have fun since we were the ONLY ones in the store! She begrudgingly said it's "all in this area" and most is unisex..I had accumulated a small pile of items on the counter while picking up ball after ball repeatedly..so I figured I'd BUY a set of mini Duck ones they had so she would be less irritated with him..It didn't work..so I carried him around vs...hearing her complain..by the time I had picked out about $300 in items I was so stressed out about her annoyance with my sports crazed son..I was ready to leave! Would I go back? Yes, they have great stuff there! Will I "not take my son" next time? HELL NO! Just because you hate your job or kids? The woman herself, Celeste, was at the shop when I stopped in and was so warm and welcoming. They have a variety of designs. I especially liked the one with a peacock design, and there was one with some leaves blowing that I was quite taken with. I also saw a beautiful one with a compass rose that was a wooden dial. There was even one with a Sasquatch! They also take commissions and you can send a photo of your pet with which they'll create a watch face. You can't get more unique than that. The watch materials may include wood, mother of pearl, abalone, and so on which makes them really just stunning. I'd love to get one of these sometime because they of course are practical but they're also a beautiful accessory and fashion statement. I was given an Apple Watch that I never actually wanted (it has a couple useful features) and can go many months without wearing or thinking about, but something like this would feel much more practical to me (if for no other reason than having to charge up a watch is just ridiculous to me). I think at some point I'll be back in person or via their website to buy one of their pieces--it's a matter of narrowing it down to which of a few designs I really want.

The atmosphere is awesome as well as the decorations, however the service and actual items being sold are not the best. I have had multiple experiences here where I have shopped and found absolutely nothing with reasonable prices. They sell clothing items that are for children and make it seem like they are for adults, then rack the prices up 2-3x what they would or should be. Almost everything I have seen on the hangers here have rips, stains, missing buttons, or very loose buttons. I understand it's a thrift store, but they make it seem like they are "high end" when in reality they're ripping off their customers...especially students?..It just feels wrong. Another part of the experience that really frustrates me is how rude the employees are. Every time I have come in, the employees have a really terrible attitude; and do not make the experience enjoyable at all. I'm aware that I can take my money somewhere else, however I think that others should know and be aware of the reality of this store. The Racks...if you want loyal customers and more than 5 yelp reviews (especially being in a student/ tourist populated town) then do better!!
