Dr. Harvey was the best doctor I had ever had in life!!!!! He was always patient, kind, friendly,…read moreefficient and thorough. The office staff back in the day, Shantel and Antonette were the friendliest, funniest, calm, cool and professional nurses i had ever met. I will never forget taking my foster baby there, and they were so sweet and patient, for him to get his immunization shots, etc. I miss the entire staff. I left, because later on in the years, (after ObamaCare) took place, his office became more like a welfare medical clinic!!! There were all type of patients and a bunch of kids and chaos in the waiting room. The wait became so long. If i had an appointment at 9am, i was lucky to see him at 10:25 a.m.!!!!! I remember his first office across the street from the Carson Mall. I will never forget, how i was just looking for a local doctor at the time, i called him during my lunch break and told him my throat was sore and i couldnt swallow. He told me to come in right away. I waited a few moments, I was having a very very very bad tonsilitis and he gave me a shot to make the pain go away. The first shot didnt work, he gave me a different shot and the pain eased up. He made sure I was pain free before i left that doctors office. I was so happy and that was back in the early 2000's Im glad to know he has retired and I wish him nothing but the best in life for him and his wife. God bless you Dr Daniels! And Staff!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother sought help from this doctor as she was experiencing…read moreserious neurological symptoms. My mom through these symptoms set an appointment to seek some answers. During her visit, the doctor interrupted my mom and wouldn't let her finish describing how she was feeling. Additionally, during the assessment, she was very rude when my mom couldn't answer questions she kept condescendingly saying "you don't know the answer!?". She couldn't answer those questions because she had a large mass in her brain impacting her ability to communicate effectively. She did eventually ordered the scans but my mom was feeling so unsupported and heard that she had her husband drive to the appointment and stay with her. Post scans and surgery, this doctor can see the seriousness of her condition and treatment and her previous communication difficulties which persisted post surgery. I called to get a referral for speech therapy which is highly recommended quickly after brain surgery. When I spoke to her on the phone, she refused to do the speech referral and said let the other doctors do it. I followed up twice via email to document the refusal and rationale but received no response. All other professionals who I said this service was refused was completely shocked. My mom should have received much better care and should have been listened to. I'm disappointed in the failure of this doctor who is a Black women to not care for my mother (another Black woman). I have filed a grievance because of this treatment.

I can usually get in to see her within a day or two, if it's not an emergency. Her office is just off the freeway and easy to find. The staff is friendly and courteous. I recommend her to everyone.

I really wanted to like this place and Dr. Coates. I was referred to her by a friend who saw her…read moreonce (when her doctor was out), but I'm a cancer survivor and I am cautious (more cautious than I was before I found out about the cancer). My first appointment with Dr. Coates was ok. The office was nothing special (kinda dated), but it wasn't off-putting. The doctor was pleasant enough. She was quick and to the point (which I don't mind), but maybe she's trying to be too quick. We did a run down of my prescribed medications. She asked questions, and I answered them. Her conversation was good. She did a quick touch here touch there exam (and this is where the first red flag went up). Knowing that I am a breast cancer survivor (questions asked and answered), she asked me to raise my size "G" bra and she felt my breast quickly (while the bra was pressing down from the top). I found that experience odd, but she scheduled me for a physical so I thought she may be more thorough later. When I went to fill my prescription (half a tablet once a day), the pharmacist gave me a capsule (one capsule once a day - that's 2x the amount that I am supposed to take). When I questioned the pharmacist and told her the dosage was incorrect, she showed me Dr. Coates prescription and stated that it was the doctor's fault not theirs. Thank God I'm a person who pays attention to the details. This could have been traumatic if I was a person who just trusted that the doctor knew what she was doing. On my second appointment (the physical), I sat in the waiting area FOR EVER. When they finally called me in, they took me to a room where someone else was already waiting (oops). They put me is an empty room and when the doctor came in she was rushed. I was fully clothed (undergarments, dress, and sweater). Dr. Coates did a rush breast exam (including arm pits) OVER MY CLOTHES and stated, "No lumps here." Seriously, I'm a breast cancer survivor - how can you tell what's going on under all the cotton and the under-wire bra and stuff? I was shocked and disappointed. Like I said I WANTED to like her. Needless to say, there will be no more appointments with Dr. Coates (I can't risk it).

After calling the office for a few days with no answer and several voicemails later, I began to give up and had to call my health insurance directly to see if I had the correct number or what was wrong. They told me to try one more time the next day and I did- they finally answered. First appointment - I got there 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment however did not see the doctor until one hour after my appointment time. Walk in- (blood tests) since all they did was take blood this was a quick walk in, walk out. Flow up appointment- again, got there 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment but did not get a room until 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment and did not see the doctor till one hour after my scheduled appointment.

They have no clue what they are doing? I have hip issues back issues and currently pre diabetic because of weight gain not because I was born with it. They seem to care more about my pre diabetes then everything else. And I don't think they cared about that too much. Because they set me up with some libre sensor kits with no instructions and it wasn't even connected to their system so they can seen when I was having los readings. Not only that I cant my refills because the staff never calls the pharmacy back. I have had 1 appointment thay they crowd to cancel because they my visiting reason wrong, and I had to correct that issue. Then I was called for another appointment because the Lpn wasn't coming in for the day. The staff proceeded to say they called me multiply times when. Infact they only called once. I've been. Waiting two months for ibuprofen 800 for my pain never received those. What really topped it off is that I've been waiting for a referral to see an orthopedic surgeon and once I received the referral I was told by the orthopedics office they dont take my Insurance which is an HMO and the doctor only treats wound care. I don't understand how someone could make mistakes like this office does? Frustrated and upset patient.
