This has to be the most rubbish phone repair shop in London. The screen repair to my iPhone 5s was terrible. Yes -- it's cheaper here than in the centre -- but the installation and parts used were a scam. When I picked up my phone after the 20 min. wait, I noticed that the colours on my screen were visibly shifted in hue and exposure. I showed them this and they asked for me to return in another 20 minutes. After pickup, the phone seemed fine. Two days later, the colours on the screen began to shift sporadically. In about a week, the screen would experience "phantom taps" and press on areas of the screen on its own. On top of this, the screen stops responding to touch after a minute of use. I have to turn the screen off and on to get around this. Finally, the screen now pops out of the phone's frame. At this point it would be better to get a new phone as this one is officially out of Apple warranty. Stay away from this shop: it's not worth the trip to Ilford or the discount. I sent them an IPAD to replace the front glass not only did they managed to damage severely the aluminium on 2 corners also once they fitted the glass 1 corner did not stick an now there is a huge gap between the Ipad and the screen so had to take it to another shop to get the glass changed again. Since I used there online services and sent my tablet for repairs there was no way of examining the work done for me. Luckily paid with Paypal so will get my money back as Paypal sided with me. read more

Before sendingin the phone by post, you have to pay in advance. I asked what happens if the phone cannot be repaired and was told I would get a full refund of the £31.99 I was paying up front. HOWEVER the problem with the phone constantly searching for a signal could not be repaired and when I asked for my refund I was told the diagnostics testing cost £24.99 and posting back the phne cose £6 So I got NO REFUND and paid for nothing! I took it to a local shop who could not repair the no signal problem either and charged me nothing because they said (as did itech store!) No repair, no fee. read more

DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. iTech Store and caytek.co.uk are one in the same company except in name. Don't believe me check out their address and phone numbers and oh how similar the websites are! Basically I used Caytek (iTech) to purchase some iphone screens. One failed within 48 hrs, I had to pay to return the faulty item (despite it being against sales of goods act) and the replacement failed within 9 weeks. They now won't replace or give a refund despite their 3 month warranty! In addition when I informed them of the sales of goods act and the item being faulty and not fit for purpose they told me to 'do what i like and stop wasting their time'. They sell crap cheap parts that fail, not the quality OEM parts they claim, extremely rude and abusive... TBH I believe this is a business run from someones bedroom - Kudos to them for trying, but treating customers the way they do they'll eventually fail or get taken to court - I'd have given them zero stars but unfortunately it not allowed.
