This Chinese restaurant, located in the middle of the hip Bellas Artes barrio, is great for a late…read morenight snack or quick lunch. The food is decent and Guang Yen has some good vegetarian options such as the veggie "chaumen". The best part about their service is definitely the fast delivery they offer. The ambiance is very relaxed, the service is good and the food is fresh. They also have some awesome "colaciones" that are very affordable and great for lunch if you work close by! I recommend to get the food to go or for delivery as the restaurant isn't the most romantic place to eat (kind of dark and a bit dingy). Great if you are on a budget and hungry as the prices are decent and the servings are large! Also, If you need a place to check mail and continue working while grabbing lunch, Guang Yen has WIFI!

I would describe this place as average Chinese fast food. It was not elegant or anything really…read morespecial however they are open late and perfect if you need a mid-night snack. The inside is very small, casual and cute. Funny enough I ordered the Chow Mein noodles which look just like the noodles you would get in a cup of soup or top rawmin. Which is fine, just nothing fancy or gourmet. I actually really enjoyed their wonton soup, it was served with lots of wontons and chicken and green onions. They have dark beer too which is my favorite in the winter time. They accept credit cards and are located right in front of Santa Lucia hill on Jose Miguel de la Barra. Bonus: On a Sunday night they are open late too which is good to have as an option as almost everything is either closed or closes early on Sundays.

Monday night, craving a good pizza. Maestro Pizza on M. Montt was closed and we wanted something of…read morebetter quality than Domino's Pizza or Papa Johns. A quick search online and we found Italita Pizzeria, who also delivers. We found their menu online, which made ordering easy, but even if we hadn't the person on the phone was very nice, quick and organized and you could hear him clearly (I've had enough cases of trying to order on the phone with a lot of background noise and the person cannot hear you, ask you the same thing 3 times, must go and find someone else because they are too busy etc which would make reading through the menu a very painful experience). He made a few suggestions but the order was very quickly wraped up. Delivery took about 30minutes and the guy came with a card machine as requested, no problem there. Now the pizza. We ordered an Italita XL for 14,990 (this is the most expensive on the menu, other XL start at 11,590) and yes, they are very large. We ate the whole thing with my boyfriend because we were very hungry, but you could easily share it between 4 people or more with a side. The pizza was delicious, thin dough but not like you are eating a cracker, fresh melt-in-your-mouth ricotta, and the right amount of toping. As my boyfrend would say it all felt "integrated", with the melted cheese, the tomato sauce and the toppings all going perfectly with the other and you are able to bite in all of them without it falling apart. You can order by the slice as well and they have Fuze iced tea and coconut water (Kokisimo brand) on top of the usual soft drinks. They have quite a large choice of pizza, I think next time we will try the Meat Lovers or Veggie Lovers which also look very good. Definitely a great place for ordering delivery. It might no be the best pizza in Santiago, but it is definitely the best pizza delivery!
