Dr. Robert is a miracle worker. We called him first thing in the morning, and he got us in the same day. The BEST chiropractor around!! I started going to him years ago after trying to get relief from a herniated disk. The "back specialist" at Kaiser was only able to give me pain pills and was going to have me get an epidural. Luckily I found Dr. Fonseca before that appointment and walked out of my first appointment with absolutely no more pain! I cancelled my Kaiser appointments and never went back. I haven't seen many chiropractors and in the past after getting my back aligned, it always felt like my back would start going back to its usual 'wonk' state the same day. The first time I saw Dr. Fonseca, I thought I had a pinched nerve....I didn't. He was kind enough to explain to me that a muscle in my back had locked up and showed me on a diagram. Since then, I have seen him semi-regularly to get my back aligned as it goes out. Dr. Fonseca is 'no nonsense' and there are times where I'm out of his office with an aligned back in 5 minutes! I can't believe nobody has reviewed him yet! He's the only chiropractor I've ever been to, thanks to my parents having tried many others until finally finding the right one. They had various problems, including migraines and dizziness, all of which were improved. I kept getting these annoying deep-rooted headaches, behind one of my eyes, which almost always caused nausea and sometimes vomitting. I tried every pain reliever you can think of, even Vicodin. Some of them helped temporarily, but that was it. My mom kept saying I should see Dr. Fonseca, but I didn't think it was a chiropractic issue. When I finally had the headaches more than I didn't, I called him, figuring it couldn't hurt since I'd tried everything else. The problem turned out to be in my neck (was locked up on one side and twisted) and upper spine. He adjusted me, and the headache I came there with was gone, almost instantly. I told him I was getting headaches but not where, and HE told me exactly where I was getting them, based on where he adjusted. Wow. He couldn't tell me exactly what caused the headaches, since many things can, but he suggested that I stop sleeping on my stomach, which I had been doing every night. I had no idea it would cause so much damage. You almost always have to leave a voicemail, but he usually calls back within a half hour. Anyway, I went from suffering 4-5 days a week to maybe twice a month at most. Most of the time I go now, it's caused by something specific, which can be traced back. For example, I needed adjustment after a camping trip, tossing and turning both nights, trying to get comfortable with NO mattress. My visits average 5 minutes, and it never hurts, but I kind of hate hearing all the "clicks" of adjustment :D Now, there is no massage therapist there, but I never felt the need for one. I just wanted my headaches gone, and that's what he does. I will never need another chiropractor as long as he's practicing. read more

He never puts pressure on you to come back over and over again such as three times a week for a month, in order to fix an issue. If you need to follow up I suppose he understands you are smart enough to figure that out and that you'll contact him to make another appt. When you do need an appt he always sees you immediately. It's a small office.... no additional staff but who needs it. You arrive, he takes you in as soon as you arrive and viola! All better! Highly recommend.
