I visited for an early lunch and while the doors only open at 12 by the time half 12 came around there were at least 5 tables occupied in the long narrow dining area. I would suggest to book a table if you are hoping to eat at Hadskis post 12:30pm. We were presented with the lunch menu by the attentive staff - there were 6 different choices of meal for £6.50 each but this wasn't basic fare - This was fine cuisine at an unbelievable price. I couldn't choose between what was on the menu so being a glutton I opted for 2 dished form this menu. As Hadskis specialises in seafood I went for the filling Seafood Chowder and the Sardine and caper Caesar salad. In retrospect I should have just gone for the Seafood Chowder as it was extremely filling - although IO 'm glad I got to taste both dishes. I found Hadskis the perfect dining experience - firstly the staff didn't judge me for being greedy and secondly the food was incredible. I will definitely be back.

I loved the tenderness of the sea bass and mixture of flavors with the veg. The sticky toffee bread pudding was a delight, with a brûlée top and complimentary scoop of ice cream and a dab of berry sauce. The tiramisu was equally delicious, with another surprise of berry in the middle. The sound gets as loud as any place we've been and it's difficult to hear across the table, but we otherwise enjoyed our meal here and are grateful to have some yelp references again.

Not one word of complaint from me or my friends what-so-ever. The bar is situated right beside the grill room, and our table was smack bang in the middle of the two, which worked excellently for my friends and I, enabling us to boogie on down til the early hours. It was offered to remake it but we declined just for lack of time and holding up everyone's dinners. The pea and ham risotto had whole peas and several small slices of ham on it. This dish was like eating a plate of melted cheese with peas thrown in. It was hard to distinguish the risotto from anything else in the dish. The pistachios had a nice toasted flavor to them but the cheese just over powered everything else. Some of the other dishes ordered were the duck ragu (seemed well received), but the beef cheek dishes were not well received and had a number of comments that the quality and flavor wasn't there. From what we recall from last year not only was the restaurant renovated but so was the menu and I think we preferred the old menu. Not sure there will be a return visit if we come back to the city again.

I got beef carpaccio, beef ragu with papardelle, lamb, and tiramisu + my friends ordered some different dishes so we could all try a little of everything. The food was absolutely amazing! Service was attentive + friendly! It's definitely not cheap, but if you're looking for a good "treat yo'self" option in Belfast, look no further than here!
