The aim is integration and inclusion. Preparing food and eating together is a good way to meet each other and learn about the different cultures. It can be very difficult to be a immigrant in Denmark. Especially if you do not have much or any contact to the surrounding society. Indvandrer Kvindecenteret have done a big and important work, with bike, computer, sowing courses, different workshops, and so on. At Send Flere Krydderier you can get the dish of the day, small or big meze and the two salads of the day. The food is well prepared and very tasty. They always explaine the dishes. Eat in- or outside depending on the weather. It a is also possible to take away, and they do catering.

The menu changes each week with food from e.g. Pakistan, Lebanon, Somalia. The last Tuesday of the month is vegetarian. We got there a bit earlier around 5:30, we then sat down near a couple and another woman. The place got filled up probably around 30 people over two long tables. There were also children, the place was very family friendly. At 6pm, a description of the dinner was provided and then we were broken up in groups of 8-10, where one person would go up and pick up the various items. There was so much fantastic food: meatballs, a mango raita (delicious), kale salad, and oven roasted potatoes and other seasonal vegetables. The food was fantastic, but what made it was the wonderful chefs and the atmosphere of eating with others - it really made the night. I hope more people get the opportunity to try the Tuesday club! I have been to numerous parties and concerts there and it can be very differing. So if you decide to check it out you really should know what kind of party is going on at the time. Generally speaking it is very underground with all sorts of people. The beer is very cheap (10-20 dkk) and if there is an entrance fee it's around 20-40 dkk. Arriving there is slightly scary as this place in the middle of all the graffiti and you need to enter what seems like an abandoned school building or sth. And why did I end up going there so many times? Well being part of the technical university, makes places like this very common among students. I would go back for a good party though! One year they also hold one of the dark distortion parties there which was quite good!

Tonight´s concert was played by the famous and well known Trio con Brio Copenhagen. A world class arrangement with Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schönberg, excellent performed by the trio. This concert hall is one of the few private own and a strong initiative. Quality and class. Buy yourself a ticket for the next concert!
