I'm surprised this gas station doesn't have excellent reviews. I come here if I don't feel like spending half an hour driving to and waiting in the gas station line at Costco. The gas here is always cheaper than at the other gas stations around (besides Costco). I rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes to pull into a spot to pump gas, and the pumps/area are usually spotless. I've also once had to go up to the cashier to make a payment, and he was very friendly and professional. This is also a nice place to quickly get gas before hopping on the freeway, and you can also use Food 4 Less rewards to save money toward each gallon of gas. read more

Probably the cheapest and easiest gas station on Oxnard. No long lines like Costco or some obscure fueling station in Montalvo. They are part of the Ralph's Rewards program, so you can use your points here for a value add. Safe travels friend. read more

I've written to corporate with my experience multiple times. They keep asking for more details, documents,anD information. I've provided all I'm able . Essentially what occurred was as follows: I took my debit card up to the kiosk and asked for $30 in gas. I was charged $150.00. Fortunately my card was declined however I have the gas station attempt to rip me off on a direct statement from my bank. read more

Nice big store Huge produce section Fresh bakery items where very tempting & looked good The deli counter for sliced lunch meat was super limited, but the fresh pico de gallo, rice, beans & guacamole looked inspiring The meat counter was beautiful! Good looking meat with plenty of options! They also had fresh sushi if you enjoy sushi, even had some in a heart container ready for Valentine's day. The restrooms were clean & well kept. Actually that is what started me with this review because I was so impressed with the restroom. The floors were clean with no trash at all on the ground, stalls were clean and no graffiti anywhere. Poor Customer Service. One of the pumps took my card (money), I pumped but when I started my car the miles were the same. I went inside and spoke to the employee and he accused me of lying, I even showed him the transaction on my phone and he insisted that I did not pump there. Spoke to the manager which he tells the employee to shut that pump off because they both know it's been giving them that problem. So the employee was well aware of this situation but failed to help me and instead called me a liar. read more

Today is June 21st, this morning, at 7:26 am. At pump #14, I put gas. The total was 9.99 and I printed out a receipt, so I left with no worry, then I go to another store to go make a purchase and my card was declined, and I knew I had $ but I was declined twice. So I checked my balance, and it said zero. And I thought about if I only went to food4less gas station this morning and put 9.99 in gas only, but I had a charge pending for 36.21, darn. I was pissed because I thought I was a victim of debit card fraud, I thought some1 put one of those card readers that thieves put on the machines to read your card info and make fraudulent charges. So I go back to the gas station at food4less in oxnard and check the pump and card reader to make sure that i can't pull the card reader off, didn't come off, so then I go talk to the gas station attendet and let her know what was going on, and she said to me that the machine or system takes a deposit, I said wtf!!???? I use my bofa card here. I told her, and that shit has never happened with my bofacard, I use my wisely card to put gas, I told her, and I knew I had $. So I asked her if it's all the cards, food4less charges, a deposit, or just certain cards, and she said certain cards. Bullshit I've never heard of any gas station taking a deposit from your debit or credit card just to put gasoline. She said you have to talk to a manager she couldn't help me she said. Have any of you been or had an attendet tell you the same thing? If so, is this something the BBB or the FCC should know about. read more

Never again, will I wait in Costco's ridiculous gas lines. Food-4-Less gas prices are identical, so why wait so long. There are lines at times at Food-4-Less, but at most one or two deep, that's it! Others have posted about the poor quality of the gas, but I drive a Mustang GT 5.0 and have not had any issues, especially no pings, which I've experienced at other gas locations. read more

I've always used nothing but Shell for every car I've owned but recently a friends mom told me she filled up at the food for less (which has similar prices as Costco) and it lasted longer than when she pumps at Chevron so I decided to give it a shot. I normally have to fill up every 2 weeks but with food for less gas surprisingly it almost lasted 3 weeks! So pretty excited to start filling up here instead but don't take my word for it try it yourself like I did hope this helps. To finalize, yes just like anywhere there is always a line of ppl waiting to pump but its not as packed as Costco your welcome ;) read more

My Jaguar designed V8 is not idling smooth as it used to. I think its The Food 4 Less premium fuel. Yes, it's inexpensive. I am returning to Top Tier gas to see if that rough idle problem clears up. "You get what you pay for" as the saying goes. read more

Jerks when it comes to help. Waited at the first pump and being the considerate person that I am I left room for the car pumping gas to get out smoothly. Instead of being an honest person another car literally just pulled up as the car was leaving and decided that he was entitled to steal the spot I had been waiting for. And instead of being a gentleman he was a total jerk and started arguing stating oh well why did you wait in front of the car and not behind. I didn't know there exist a rule of waiting behind cars in order to be next at the pump! Again instead of arguing with this POS I went to the cashier (Cherise) and explained what happen and instead of helping me out I got an "Oh well there's nothing I can do," when they have cameras all around. If anything yes you could've shut down the pump and for sure he would've had to move. Thank you food 4 less for allowing grown ass men to yell at women and not do anything about it. I suggest you hire people who are willing to work and maybe also have another person facilitate the lot. Totally disappointed and will most likely never return. read more
