This gas station is very good, very busy. I mean I'm talking long lines down the street. Sometimes I'd say about 95% of the time people come in the right way you always get a person that doesn't. The one thing I can't figure out is and I see this every time I'm there. Maybe people just don't know what side of the car the gas tank is on. I would put pictures online but I don't want to embarrass people. The only downfall about this location is that a lot of times I'd say at least out of the eight pumps normally about a third to almost half are down I don't know if they run out of gas or if they just have maintenance issues. I know that they have two numbers you can call. They don't exactly have a staff cause I don't know what the oil company can do with the gas pumps, but I think people just beat them up. read more

Silvas offers the lowest price gas, usually equal or lower to Costco gas. They did replace their pumps last summer 2024 so the hoses are long enough like Costco so you could pump on either side, even if it's a bit challenging to position. Generally cars can only enter from one direction, BUT unlike Costco's hyper organized system, there isn't space to leave and drive thru the middle. Generally cars have to wait until both are done filling before they can drive away from the line. There are I think 8 pumps avail. for regular gas, and diesel is avail. on other pumps further away from entrance. The lines of course will be long, but they are open 24/7 so if you're willing to come later at night, you won't see lines. I did try this 1x, and the pumps are very well lit and it didn't feel unsafe. The only negative for me is that this is not Top Tier gas grade (with added detergents) so if you only use this gas, you may have engine deposits, buildups over time. This happened to my previous car, so that affects passing smog cert. etc. Generally tho, if you're not a Costco member (they have Top Tier gas), this will be your cheapest gas option. read more

Gas Buddy said that they had the cheapest gas in the area. So, when I was driving south on the 101 in April 2024, I decided that I needed to stop for gas. I just didn't know I would stop so far away from this station! The line here was super long, along the street couple properties away. With only 4 gas pump working at the time, it made for a slow pit stop. The pumps were all self service. It's a great place if there is no line. read more

Diesel pumps are always available, but I miss the option for the DEF. I know it's in the works, but hopefully sooner than later! Some of the diesel pumps are very sensitive to shut offs, but have been able to work around this issue. read more

Nice gas station in Ventura. It's right off the freeway so it's easy for a quick on and off stop. It does the job of giving me gas when I don't want to go to Costco. There are no indoors or even squeegees for your windshield wipers. There are trash cans though lol. This place is basically like Costco gas. It's cheap and there is usually a line. This is my first time checking in here, although I'm a frequent customer. They are located right next to Happy's Collision Center and have good access from the 101 freeway. The prices are always better than anywhere else in town and I am so appreciative. They are open 24/7 and it is a safe location. For instance today's gas price was 3.25/gallon. Although the location is not staffed you can always call 1-877-GO-4-FUEL and they will get back with you. I know this because I had a problem with a receipt before and they emailed me one. My car takes E85 fuel. Silva's is one of the few stations, in my area that sells E85. This fuel costs about $1.00 less per gallon. In the past six weeks, the E85 pump has been defective. Yes, this is quite possibly the cheapest gas station in Ventura County. There's a reason... It's on what I refer to as a "frontage road" (a smaller road parallel to a main road/highway) that is difficult to access, even though it is visible from the 101 Freeway. Several pumps may not function. It's completely self serve with no attendant present. The building that is adjacent to the gas station is locked up and abandoned. No services/amenities of snacks, restroom, windshield wipers, etc. Bare basic, cheap gas station primarily for large diesel fuel trucks. Do I still come here when passing through town...? To hell with this place. Everyone told me to go here it's the cheapest gas in town....yeah if you don't mind having your card hacked. It wouldn't let me pump gas, and as soon as I got home I received an alert. Someone at Silvas Gas, they had the address and business name, charged my card 100$ and tried to charge a second time, I had to cancel my card and get a new one. This place is good for the prices the only thing is they do not keep it up when pumps are down and enforce or make sure follow the rules there's always some yahoo's that cut in line or drive in from the exit. WARNING - DEBIT CARD INFO STOLEN! I usually will go here to fill up as it is the best price in town; however, I was just there on Sat, 1/5/19, used my debit card to pay for gas, and on Sun, there was fraudulent activity on my card. I had to deactivate and cancel my card and order a new one. Good thing it's just my debit card for random small expenses and not my main bank account! You aren't gonna find a better gasoline deal anywhere within the tri-county area! I've been coming to this hidden gem each time I happen to pass through Ventura. It's fairly difficult to access unless you are paying attention to the road signs. That being said, it's worth the trek. The venue used to be pretty grungy. I can tell it's been fixed up in the past few years with a new digital sign, better pumps and lighting, and a newly-paved concrete drive. It's still next to some rundown closed-up coffee shop and is very industrial-feeling otherwise. I'd compare the experience to a Costco station where you are essentially in line behind other vehicles awaiting your turn at the pump. There is normally always a line at least 5 vehicles deep in each of the four rows, but the small wait is certainly worth the ~$0.40/gallon you'd save over the other guys. If you happen to be in the Ventura area, definitely check this spot out if you are looking to significantly save on your gas. read more

Don't expect anyone to help you with your transaction here.
