Store carried a variety of produce, bakery, snacks and cleaning products. The prices seemed to be cheaper than regular No Frills and Loblaws stores. I picked up some snacks like a family sized package of oatmeal cookies for $3.50, family sized popcorn for $4, bag of chips for $1.15, a 6 pack peppers for $5. Would certainly return if I'm in the area again. Took bad they don't have one located in York Region of even in Toronto in general.

At one counter we're the butcher seemed to understand my plight aNd recommended that I check out the Big Red Market in Thorold. I did and was I impressed by the cuts of meat readily available. I ended up leaving with a Blade roast, a Beef brisket and a Corned Beef roast from a barrel. Needless to say I'll be back again soon for something else to enjoy making - in 3 days I've already cooked a corned beef dinner and a Chinese Beef Brisket stew with Daikon Radish. What really strikes me as odd, is they have a dedicated section in their refrigeration unit for Molson Dry, but it's never stocked! So, they have the electricity running for their commercial fridge, but the section for Molson Dry is always empty. Instead, they keep their Molson Dry Jumbo cans outside, at room temperature. What's the point of this buggery?

this is not a complaint about my Zehrs store on Geneva Street in St Catharines, Ontario with which…read moreI have always had excellent relations for many, many years but about the PC Express online grocery purchase system to which the supermarket has sold its soul reducing employees at the store to pathetically pleading "what can we do" for which the owners must take full responsibility the short version is that PC Express online suddenly and repeatedly rejected my credit card required to pay for online grocery purchase orders, used countless times before, for no explained reason the relevant credit card has a high individual purchase transaction limit always paid off immediately after use with no online or in-store purchase hassles anywhere else ok, sometimes shit happens; the issue is prompt correction of the problem immediate telephone contact with PC Express online not only failed to resolve the problem but has been put in an evidently lengthy queue with a formal case number to try and fix the internal system rejection problem some time within the next couple of weeks...
