Everything that's for sale always looks fresh, clean and appetizing. Besides the fresh and frozen seafood they offer all kinds of jarred goods, spices and handy kitchen tools. I've only ever shopped on their app, but after my recent experience I'll try to just walk in and see what's available. This is quite risky if you already have dinner plans, plus using their app is very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, after my last experience, I prefer to put my finger on what I want to make sure I get exactly the cut of fish I'm looking for. It didn't seem like a big deal, because the fish was still fresh and delicious, but it slightly changed my approach to its preparation. T&J seafoods offers one flavour of candied salmon that's made weekly in small batches (it's not too popular out east I suppose). It's smoked and seasoned with peppercorn. There's barely a sweet flavour and there's a lot of peppery spiciness. The salmon is also much tougher and I even found some small bones in a few of the pieces. It is good value for $9/half lbs of candied salmon and it's nice that they vacuum seal it for you when you buy it. FINAL VERDICT: After tasting the maple syrup candied and smoked Sockeye candied salmon variations from Vancouver, BC's Granville Island market, T&J just doesn't match up in terms of freshness, quality, or flavour.

Store carried a variety of produce, bakery, snacks and cleaning products. The prices seemed to be cheaper than regular No Frills and Loblaws stores. I picked up some snacks like a family sized package of oatmeal cookies for $3.50, family sized popcorn for $4, bag of chips for $1.15, a 6 pack peppers for $5. Would certainly return if I'm in the area again. Took bad they don't have one located in York Region of even in Toronto in general.
