Was pleasantly surprised by this Food City. It's the cleanest and most well stocked location I've been to in the area. They have a floral department, a Starbucks, a loaded salad bar, deli/hot food counter, and cafe seating, to name just a handful of the wonderful offerings. At the bakery counter, I was also excited to see a local bread and bakery company's  (Bluff View Bakery) bread for sale. This is such a convenience as it would be a 30 minute drive from our current location to go to their only other known place to purchase their bread, Rembrandt's Coffee House, which is still on my list to visit. All the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. They offer some reasonably price items and discount sections here and there. The produce looked fresh, though I have not tried any. I did notice not a large selection of organic produce at this location. However, quite enjoyable first visit at this location, and I will be returning. read more

I ordered a bbq meal for 20 people for a going away 3rd shift work party. Pulled pork, mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. I explained what it was for and set a time of 8 pm. She advised me that it would just be coming out around that time so it would still be warm. Great! I show up at 8:15 to get our food and there was nothing. No order had ever been turned in to be prepared. I had to scurry around and find food that could be ready in an hour for all those folks waiting. I will never make the mistake of ordering from this deli again and I encouraged my coworkers to do the same as we ate our pizza read more

Yeah I went up there for the two for 12 dinner special in the deli was pretty good they were running out of food but the girl was really sweet a little slow but she was by herself but other than that I would probably give it three stars read more

I just left Food City where I did self checkout. I scanned the bananas and the register says not found. I pressed go back, typed in bananas and bagged them. This usually requires a cashier to assist. I called the clerk over and she called me a liar. She said it's on your screen. I replied yes because I hit go back and typed in banana. She told me they had fixed the register so you can now scan and it's on my order as it should be. I again told her what I had to do. Again she told me I was wrong! She got damn right rude! This is the second time a clerk at this store has called me a liar. Manager train your rude employees!!! read more

Check your expiration dates!! The Ocoee Crossings location CONSTANTLY has expired food on their shelves!! Mainly the cheese!

We now have 2 Food City grocery stores here in Cleveland. This makes it more convenient to shop and use your loyalty card. One card can now be used at either of these stores. They were fully stocked with grocery items with no outs. You can't say that about other stores. I also got a few items that were on sale. I used my Food City Value card to save money. Every body was nice, friendly and helpful. I saw lots of managers eager to help customers. I think some of these managers were from out of town but nonetheless it was all good. So be sure to check out this grocery store as soon as you can. Get a Food City Value card first thing. If you forget it, just give them your phone number and you get credit for the savings. read more

I went in here soon after COVID-19 had just taken off on a late Sunday afternoon, partially to get groceries and partially just to see what the scene was like. It was my first time in a grocery store since the COVID-19 pandemic started. The shelves were not completely empty like I anticipated but the store workers looked tired. They are the real heroes during this pandemic. I found everything on my list and was able to get in and out quickly. This is clearly a well-managed Food City and I would recommend it for all your grocery needs in the Cleveland area. read more

Food City became my go-to grocery store once I got fed up with Walmart. I love coming in to a grocery store and not having to wade through clothing and camping gear just to get some milk and eggs. There are a couple of things that I wish Food City would do though. I wish the bathrooms were cleaner at this location. It smells like a gas station bathroom. I also wish every store was set up the same. In one store, a particular item is on the far right and at another store its on the far left. Lets get it together FC. The main thing I really dislike about Food City is the checkout lines. The setup is horrid. I'm not sure who's idea it was to set them up the way they are but it's awful and awkward. All in all though, I really like Food City as a whole and prefer to shop here over Walmart or Target for groceries. read more

Food City took Bi-Lo and turned it into Walmart's redneck cousin. The loyalty card is bogus compared to the one we had with Bi-Lo. Their produce and meat is now a lower grade. The employees don't seem to be cared for as much as they were at Bi-Lo and that's a big deal breaker. The sales aren't as good as they were with Bi-Lo and it's just an overall downgrade. Publix is now our family's main grocery store after the switch. read more

Food city is a HORRIBLE place to work. The pay is not even worth your TIME and EFFORT..Worker's are always quitting so there goes your schedule to plan anything..Cashiers are treated like stupid idiots..Head cashiers are the only ones respected..Cashiers are the lowest paid workers.Baggers are few and far between..Only on their money making Friday's do they have enough baggers..Break-room is filthy with spots of dirt on the walls..Under the lockers has layers of dirt. Microwave had food splattered all over and caked on the bottom and top..A lot of partiality with workers, favorites..If you not a favorite of the store manager you will NEVER move to another job or get good raises. read more

We are from Massachusetts and we do NOT have a Food City. I fell in love with this place I love the way the produce and other veggies behind closed refrigerator. This place is so clean and spotless. We found all we needed in seconds and enjoyed all the perfect gourmet meats for our cookout with our family. The cash register was weird though to us. But all staff was very nice and friendly read more

Best meat selection and prices on meat in town. The people who work in the meat dept are always so friendly and helpful too.

Just ordered a burger here. Was told "it could take 5-10 minutes." Went to ask about the burger 15 minutes later, which then he said " oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to put it in." Here I am 25 minutes later with no burger! I am hangry and very unsatisfied with the service! read more

I shopped here because it was the closest store. I'll drive 5 miles further if I have to just to not stop @ a Food City again. Clean and well stocked but most grocery stores are. Went to check out had several heavy items and drinks but you couldn't skip bagging; everything had to be scanned and put on a shelf. (There was only one non self checkout lane open and backed way up.) I had no loyalty card because I don't live in TN ,the cashier said no card no discount. 5 minutes later filling out a fake loyalty form I got the discount and thru the card in the trash can. Even if I lived here I wouldn't shop here. All stores carry the same stuff, its customer service that keeps them coming back. This will end up like BiLo. Throw the 90's loyalty cards in the trash and make check out more pleasant to stay alive in the marketplace. read more

I am disabled and handicapped with leg injuries. I don't drive very much anymore due to my health. Your store and gas station employees are always courteous and very helpful. The gas station employees always come to my car and offer assistance with pumping my fuel. I try to do as much as I can possibly manage. If I am having a bad day, I know your employees will provide assistance. Thank you for having such dedicated workers. I tell everyone about the employees going out of their way to help. read more
