They are amazing! The staff is super helpful and I enjoy picking up my meds instead of the dread I used to have with the larger pharmacies with long lines, constant shortage of pills, and treated like a bother if I asked questions. Madison Avenue is different. When I have a new Rx, they point out things such as take It with food or on empty stomach or fitst thing in morning. The notes are on the bottle and they don't mind answering questions. I can't believe I ever used any other pharmacy! They really are the BEST!

Recently I found my prescription had run out, and I was not notified, (they filled it with the wrong script). nor was my doctor notified. When I called and pointed this out, they refused to take responsibility, trying to say they had done no wrong. Then they hung up on me. They are lucky I am not choosing to report this negligence. Obviously they don't need the customer's business. Nor do they care. They will no longer have mine.

I'm a sucker for the candy and chips aisles, and the photo department. When canvases go on sale, we pounce like photo predators! The drive-thru is handy, but I like to go in. I've had the some really interesting conversations here in the check-out line. I mean, it's not dog-friendly like Lowe's, and people don't really expect a schnauzer sniffing their butt while they're selecting family-size acetaminophen, so the babies stay at home or in the truck. Only in the winter. I'm not a monster that leaves my fur kids in a hot car; i just threaten to do that when they're misbehaving. Anyway, this place is always sparkling clean, very bright (consider sunglasses if you don't mind being THAT PERSON at the pharmacy), and friendly. Sometimes there is modern country music playing. Not so awful that I'm gonna ask for the manager, but some of it is dreadful. I don't "remember" the old Norman Rockwell drugstores, but I've been to Woolworth's in Asheville and this Walgreens would be so much better with a milkshake and soda counter!

on 11-19-2024 in the afternoon i called this unit and spoke to a young gentleman who took my…read moreinformation to transfer some perscriptions from wal-mart 3070 duluth, ga , i young man who took my information got annoyed when i told him i didnt want all the txts message's and other nonsense sent to my phone (its a pre-paid phone) , so being patient i wait until this moring to call and see if the trainsfer was complete and i was told there were no scripts to trnasfer, this was and is a lie. my recalled my pharmist om georgia and was told yeah there are 4 scripts to transfer, humilog, levevamere, sulfa silvidine cream, and naproxan, i did call back the walgreen unit and the pharmist said to call 1800 walgreen (to complain) so i did that, this kind of behavior is un acceptable as people have to trust their pharmacist no to lie or decieve patients , who ever at that unit of walgreens that did the lying need to be suspended or terminated, this is a breach of trust, and they were rude, short-curt, and totally not something any company should represeenting them, i have contact the wal-mart in sweetwater and within moments the they could see the transfer being initiated, who ever reviews this , .... do not trust this location as they will lie and decieve patients, use a small pharmacy or go to wal-mart .... when it come to medicines that extend quality of life like humolog, levimeir, etc ... their integerity should be beyond reproach so wake up america ... when corporations do stuff like this take your busines else where ....
