Surgery was denied due to that report. Had a second MRI Friday preformed in house at TOC. What did they find? A full thickness TFCC tear. Not sure how y'all missed that one. The scheduling staff is not knowledgeable, and it takes forever if at all to get copies of records sent to providers. Very disappointing, and I recommend going elsewhere.

In the middle of June, I received two letters (bills) from Starr Regional. I had paid all of the bills as they came without hesitation, but these two final bills both had my name but also had different account numbers which led me to question their accuracy. I called Starr Regional to get clarification on this discrepancy but was so frustrated by their infernal phone system that by the time I got a real person on the phone & she kept asking verification question after verification question, I volunteered my favorite color, my favorite singer & some other worthless tidbit. I finally calmed down & apologized for my frustration, but she had already hung up on me. I did not immediately call back because my frustration would not have been pretty. I called back two weeks later & was quickly transferred to a different number which turned out to be a collection agency. I received their last bill in mid June & they sent me to collections in early July. The medical staff are awesome. Their phone system is absolute. The billing department are bass turds. I tried to reach out to the business office to make a complaint & to get clarification on these billing irregularities, but could not get any answers. I will never darken this hospital again. Great & talented staff cannot make up for the crap they pull in billing. Starr Regional sucks epically.

We walked in and before the lady at the desk said anything to me, she was complaining about her computer having locked up. She asked if I was here for imaging and instructed me to sign in. As we sat there, the two employees could be heard complaining about having worked the last six days by themselves. Their tone was a bit hateful and they had one patient so confused that I was getting confused with their instructions. I mentioned to my wife that we were about to leave. I got up, walked over, and scratched my name off the list. The front desk girl said that it wouldn't take long and I replied "you all are just too stressed" and we walked out. I've had decent luck at the Gunbarrel location, but I doubt I'll be driving back to Hixon anytime soon.

Went to an orthopedic to review the MRI and he determined there is a tear Samuals missed, and the physical therapy I've been doing has exasperated the problem. My orthopedics exact words were "every report I've ever seen with this guys name on it has been wrong"

So you're saying you sent someone to California to X-ray me; when I have been in Tennessee since 1996. Or are you saying I came from California to have one of your people to Xray me. I expect you to rectify this. You are as bad as the collection agency you are using; just passing the buck to try and ruin somebody's credit.
