My son has had to skip a medication he needs for school because of their mistakes. I am a former pharmacy technician and always give them two days to fill the prescription but there is always an issue when I return to pick it up. Without warning and without a knock on my door ( because I have a dog that would have barked) I got a call from dispatch that my truck was booted. $1000 fine. That will be deducted from my paycheck. That's not right. Walmart and Interstate have a SCAM!!!! They were quiet on purpose so that they would not wake me up in order for me to leave. When we run out of driving hours sometimes , a lot of the times truck stops and Rest Area parking is full. I get if you don't want us to park but Please knock on our door and give us an opportunity to leave. Great Sunday morning & now my daughter won't be able to take classes over the summer. I've worked hard and barely seen my family to earn a living and to keep stores ( including Walmart) full of supplies and food including medical supplies that families need. What I see now is Interstate and Walmart will do anything to take people's hard earned $$. Walmart & Tennessee we clearly get the message. STAY away from Walmart and to the guys that own and work for Interstate I don't see how you have a clear conscience while driving around at 3 am to prey on people that just wanted to rest a little. 10 percent to the Big Guy aka Walmart. $1000 is a ridiculous amount and should be not even be an option. Ripping off hard working men and women just trying to make a living. 5-21-2023 Walmart is a privately owned parking lot which means that they allowed and or called for Interstate to come do this. 15 trucks times $1000 each that's $15000. Daughter had been there a week before and unfortunately her Dr office was closed at this time and symptoms continued and she hoped she'd get NP she saw previous who was very sweet, since she saw previous symptoms and could compare. If this NP doesn't like her job, should find another job. It was evident by her body language and lack of empathy she was not happy to see another patient. We asked for liquid antibiotic and she ordered pills, just an overall not a compassionate visit. I know people can have an off day and maybe this was the case, but every patient should be treated with kindness especially when they are not being unkind to you!

This happened this past Friday evening, July 19th, 2024, around 7 pm. My 77-year-old mother, who is arthritic and, in a wheelchair, needed her muscle relaxers. And it's those tiny cyclobenzaprine tablets, 5 mgs a piece, not those huge methocarbamol tablets... When she first received the prescription, it was for 1 a day. But on day 2, I called the dr's office and advised that one a day will not be enough. She needs 2 a night. So, they told us to have her take 2 a night out of her current bottle and when she gets low, to call the dr's office and they will get her going on a new rx for 2 a day. I did just that. I called the dr's office when she was running out and had two pills left. They called in the rx to Walgreens. I received a text that there was an insurance issue. I called dr's office, they get the rx approved with the insurance, and proved medical necessity. It goes through at Walgreens. Then suddenly disappears from the app. I called Walgreens to check the status and the pharmacist flat told me it's too soon to refill. We argued and I asked for the pharmacist in charge, he said that was him. I then asked for a manager. And conveniently, he won't be back until Monday. So, I head down there in person to confront him, along with my mother. But the male know-it-all pharmacist cancelled the rx and put it back on the shelf, stating it's too soon to fill and refused to fill it. I tried to explain what happened, as to why we're refilling on day 45, he kept talking over me and was emphatic that he would not fill my mother's rx because it's too soon to fill, he didn't care about the back story and didn't care that my mom's dr and her insurance are all taken care of, he will not fill it. He was so rude to me and my mother! Such a jerk! I had her rx transferred to the Walgreens in Fort Oglethorpe on Battlefield Pkwy. And when I got to Fort O, the rx was ready and waiting for me with a smile! I am switching all rxs to them. DO NOT use the Walgreens pharmacy on Broad St. Go ANYWHERE else. This pharmacist has a God complex and makes decisions about your meds without consulting your dr. And he stated the dr hadn't consulted HIM! What?? You're not her dr! Why should they consult you?? I told him as I left that I hope he never has to go through the pain and agony my mother does and then deal with someone that withholds meds the dr prescribed. Ludicrous! I will report to corporate Walgreens too! The pharmacist that worked the evening shift on Friday July 19th needs to find another job. He has no customer service skills, no empathy, whatsoever! He is the end all, be all, of your medications. He was condescending and completely infuriating. DO NOT FILL YOUR MEDS THERE.
