This Ingles sits just off of 59 in Trenton and seems to be the anchor of this exit. While grocery stores are not normally on my itinerary on road trips, I made the pit stop into this Ingles for a potty break due to the neighboring gas station not having facilities available...and since I was already there, I did a bit of browsing and shopping. The store, like most Ingles, is a bit dated and worn. The brand is not known for shiny new and updates stores, so this location is definitely "classic". Since I was traveling, I stayed in the interior aisles and picked up a few snacks and staples that I needed, saved me a trip closer to home. I will say that Ingles is a bit pricey compared to other grocery stores, surprisingly so on majority of the items I scoped, fresh food and all. Check out was okay. The cashier was nice, but not "friendly" or engaging. I get it is a transaction, and it definitely felt just as such. Overall, I get the need and dependence on this location for the local community. Good spot for groceries, just a bit high on prices and service could use some tweaks. read more

Everything sucked. Five workers in the store. Three of which were huddled in a group messing around and ignoring customers. The other two workers were at the only working checkout counter in the store. Went to buy a new charger and the two employees checking me out made fun of me for the price of my charger. It was the cheapest one and I didn't exactly have a choice. I agree 17 dollars is ridiculous but you didn't have to say "you would never catch me wasting my money on a 17 dollar charger." Like it wasn't exactly my ideal price either. Please don't laugh at customers. Also ignored this old lady who left her umbrella and asked for it back. Like didn't even look at her. read more

I typically don't write reviews, however after last night's experience, I absolutely had to share this. My fiancé and I recently moved to Trenton so he could attend the Lineman school here. Since moving, we've been adjusting to living on one income and it's been financially challenging due to the amount of time it took me to find a job. When we got to the register, we realized we were $1.23 short. It may not seem like much, but in that moment it felt incredibly heavy. As we were trying to decide what to put back, our cashier Jacob quietly walked around the register and paid the difference himself without hesitation. He didn't make a big scene or make us feel embarrassed -- he simply chose kindness. That small act meant more to us than he probably realizes. After months of stress and uncertainty, the Lord really reminded us that there are still genuinely good people in this world. Jacob, thank you for your compassion and generosity. You made a difference for us that night. Ingles is lucky to have someone like you on their team -- he absolutely deserves recognition and a raise! read more

Friendly staff, A little expensive, Looks a little outdated, good products plus variety.

My absolout favorite place to shop. They have the freshest meat from anywhere in town. You can taste the difference in the quality. They have a great deli with daily country style options. Their deli also has the best breakfast in town. The management goes out of their way to make sure you get the best experience. Every time I try to switch to a different grocery store in Chattanooga it doesn't take but a minute for me to conclude that I'll get groceries in Trenton instead. I love this place! read more

This grocery store is the best in our town. There are always fresh options, organic options, and great prices. Even though we live in a small town it is awesome that we can get so many options at decent prices. I also love going in there and finding bargains on groceries close to their sell by date. I can get many fresh things half price simply because their sell by date is approaching. read more

We were camping and I had to run into town to get a few items and I thought we might be out of luck because we needed a variety of fresh herbs and veggies to make what we wanted and ingles wasn't giving off the vibe of what I would expect from Publix or Kroger.. This store is small and the layout is a bit odd to me but its a very good store. The herbs were super fresh and great, basil leaves were the biggest I have seen. The veggies also looked super fresh and priced well. I am guessing most of these items are somehow locally sourced. I went by the beer area and it was small. if your not looking for the next great ipa then it will meet your basic needs. They had plenty of registers open and the people were super friendly. read more

I really like this grocery store. It seems to be cheaper than Bi-Lo. I got some hamburger meat the other day that went bad really quick. I took it back to see if they would let me exchange it. They sure did. I was so appreciative of that. read more

My family and I shop at Ingles often. It is cheaper than Bi-Lo, and it's much closer than going to Walmart. Ingles has helped a lot! They will allow you to exchange an item if it was torn, went bad, etc... Most of the employees are considerate. read more

PINEAPPLE MANGO SALSA-THIS IS FABULOUS!!!! This will delight EVERY taste bud in your mouth. I tasted a "free" sample today as I entered the south entrance, OMG I was in heaven. This was made FRESH today. EVERYONE needs to buy this, I am marinating my Steelhead Trout and going to grill for a most fabulous meal for myself and guest.
