Today she suggested stopping in at the new Publix at West Edge off Meadowlark Drive and Robinhood Road. The store opened mid-November 2023 and is the newest Publix in the area. The large store offers a full service deli, produce department, bakery, wine department, meat department, seafood department and pharmacy with drive-thru. The store hours are daily from 7am to 9pm. The pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. The store is VERY well organized, clean and modern. Each of the departments were very well stocked and the staffing among the different areas of the store seemed appropriate. The employees also seemed friendly and approachable but we didn't have a specific question or concern while visiting. We purchased a dozen or so items as we wandered the aisles and were very impressed. Publix is not one of our weekly stops but we do think this is a very nice store and will keep it in mind in the future. Great addition to the neighborhood!

I have tried both the Rotisserie Chicken sand the Fried Chicken and found them to be very good. Today I decided to go with a salad and picked the Cobb Salad. This is a well sized salad composed of romaine lettuce, chopped ham, chicken, crumbled bacon, avocado spread, quartered boiled egg, chopped green onion, plumb tomatoes,1 some crumbled blue cheese,and a large packet of Ranch dressing. This was a nice, fresh tasting salad even though prepackaged. The dressing was a bit in the lite side, but did have some flavor. I would get it again, and I do intend to try other salads in the $5 meal deal!

It can get busy and sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough cashiers but management is on top of that and gets involved to help relieve the pressure. As you would suspect, since there were so many items on carts, a good amount of the shelves were empty or close to it. We went to the register at 2:57pm. We were told to wait a couple minutes because they were doing a shift change. The cashier did apologize and it was a very short wait. I didn't get anything but if I were looking for something, I doubt I'd be able to find it. My cousin did get some of the things she was looking for.

She called for the other employee as soon as I questioned the total and said she didn't have time to argue with me. I didn't argue, I wanted to know why the total was so high when I was supposed to be getting deals. I will never in my life ever step foot in that store again!
