Every corner is beautifully decorated, and the whole place smells absolutely heavenly. I enjoyed the Blood Orange Bliss, which was delicious--but honestly, I don't think you could order a bad drink here! We also spent some time in the salt room, and I walked out feeling like a brand-new person--relaxed, refreshed, and completely reset. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor... GO! Your mind, body, and soul will thank you!

Today, I went to Oasis at the Mill for a delicious Velvet Fog chaga- & kava-infused drink. I also booked a Vibro-Acoustic Therapy session for the first time! I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. I came out of the sleep state as the resonance shifted, and it gently brought me to stillness over several minutes, softening and slowing until the program ended. I felt refreshed and renewed and was already deciding that "Oh, I have to do this on a regular basis!" And, the fact that there are programs to access many energetic states is so exciting! I can say from the bottom of my freshly renewed heart, DO try this new healing opportunity at Oasis at the Mill! It is truly extraordinary!

I LOVE Remedy!!!!…read more This is a great stop year-round to come grab a drink, catch up with friends, enjoy a great vibe, and savor tasty flatbreads and pastries. Whether you're looking for coffee to start your day or beer/wine/cocktail to close out; you're set with Remedy. As far as food goes, Remedy has amazing flatbreads - specifically the Fromage and West Ender are my favorites. They also have fun little charcuterie boards with a decent selection of tasty goodies. The staff are always solid - respectful and pretty quick with service around the room and behind the bar. This is also a great place to bring your laptop or a book and get some work done or enjoy a relaxing read. Lots of comfy places to sit.

The high wooden bookshelves and designated reading tables give it literary cachet, but The Remedy leans more cozy than stuffy. There's plenty of seating inside and out, and this would be as good a place for a group as it would be for partaking solo. Part coffeeshop and part bar, The Remedy also offers baked goods, flatbreads and charcuterie alongside its coffees, teas, and cocktails. I passed on the food (it seemed overpriced), but the coffee left no room for complaint. I went with a marshmallow iced latte. It was prepared quickly, and it made for a smooth sip: not too sweet and no acidity. Winston-Salem has no shortage of places to grab a drink of the caffeinated or alcoholic varieties, but it's hard to beat the atmosphere that The Remedy has to offer.

That would describe the atmosphere at Pour! There are little cafe type tables to sit alone or with others, sipping on hot coffee, and there are windows so you can look out at downtown and there is mellow music playing in the background, maybe a live musician on his/her guitar, piano, etc on certain nights as well as even wine tastings! I'm not a coffee fan (which drives my wife crazy) but do like green tea...but that's the extent of my hot drink knowledge. I learned more in the 10 minutes I spent there from William than I ever knew before. William knew how tea was made American-style, as well as Japanese and British versions. I opted for a chai (with almond milk) and it was delicious. Now I'm a fan of chai tea! William was knowledgeable, friendly, and offered incredible service. They seem very community-focused, with date night and social events all throughout the week. I'm a big fan of supporting local business and plan on continuing to support this one! (and that was the sound of my kids cheering because that means more hot chocolate for them!) Thanks for the service, William, this place rocks!

Binki Cate has the potential to be a landmark for Ramen but there some work to do. First, this location seems to be a great spot but there has been like 3-5 different restaurants in the building over the last 10 years. I hope Binki stays. Ok, so I wanted Ramen but I don't think this is their wheelhouse. I think the main focus are the drinks and treats. I got the Miso chicken Raman and it was good...not great. The presentation was kinda wonky with a plastic bowl with clear wrap on top like a school lunch meal...wait...was this frozen and they just heated it up?? Hmmm...anyway the service was...functional. They have a banana dessert that sounds good and I would get it in the future.
