Amazing is the first word that comes to mind. Bright and cheery colors welcome you as you walk in,…read moredrawn closer and pulled inside with the smells of fresh baked bread and sweets. A selection of cakes, Danishes, tarts, homemade dressings, take away meals and healthy food options. All made fresh daily in their kitchen in Bray. The pastries and breads are delivered into all of the 12 locations 2-3 times a day!!! Everything in the entire cafe is homemade! What a hidden gem and I don't want to keep it to myself. I was served by Lorraine who was knowledgeable about all of the baked goods that lined the shelves. She was so passionate about these cakes and treat that she had me very excited about them as well. It reminds me of bakeries that we have back at home which totally excited me. I love the fact that everything is made locally as I think it's so great to be able to support your local businesses. They have lovely coffees to go as well. They don't have any tables for you to enjoy your delicatessen in house but it's certainly worth taking away. Treats from The Butler's Pantry is bound to bring a smile to anyone's face. Oh and on Thursday-Sunday they have a selection of croissants, pan au raisins and pan au chocolate, etc. One word...YUM!

There's a really nice manager there in fact all staff are extremely pleasant. I think they could be more consistent with the speciality foods that are available and starting to sell 3fe coffee or something similar by the bag would be a good idea but overall it's the best spot for coffee in the village.

The space is rather small, as most coffee shops are, and the prices are a bit up there, but all the coffee they make holds its own against some of the best- no Starbucks quality here- and the food is amazing. Speaking of, if you haven't tried their hotcakes slathered with berries, compote, and some of the most decadent whipped cream you've ever tasted, you haven't lived life to the fullest. It was so sweet, it was almost too much for me to finish, but I won't complain about such a delicious sugar rush this early in the morning. If you're not the "dessert for breakfast" type, they also have your typical avocado toast- don't ask me why that's a thing here, too- eggs, breakfast meats, and of course, porridge. Or, if you're not the breakfast type, they do have some bomb-looking pastries available all day, every day, including vegan options. These guys must also be pretty well-established given that they have merch available for purchase, on top of their perishables. And really, the coffee here is amazeballs. If you come for nothing else, come for that.

Oh this place really is divine. I wish there were more like it in Dublin!…read more Definitely a little hidden in the backstreets as previous reviewers have said, but so worth the trip! (Make an outing out of it, go there for your lunch and take it up to the Phoenix Park to eat it, then catch an afternoon screening in the Lighthouse Cinema, and grab some dinner in L Mulligan Grocer on Manner St. I am salivating at the thought....mmm....) So what can you find in this purty little spot? It's all about local folks! They stock Irish (and European) cheese and meats, handmade breads, fresh fruit and veges, freshly made sandwiches and pastries, olives, various other pickled schtuff and all the rest of those types of delish bits n bobs you won't find in your local supermarkets. The Lilliput Press is across the way as well if you want a little read. I just wish they had more seating in here, but I guess that may take away some of the tiny shop charm of the place. Maybe in the summer they could stick some tables outside (perhaps they do this already - anyone know?!!) Either way, it's a fanfreakingbrilliantastic place to have a gander in and get noshed up. Oh - they have coffee & wine too! Bonus!!! Wiiinnneee....

It's call Lilliput for two reasons, one as a homage to Lilliput press that is in the area and the other reason because for such a tiny shop, it really squeezes a lot in. It has a range of regular and artisan products. Cheeses from around the country, artisan breads, olives from Morocco, lots of wines and delicious sandwiches to go. A coffee will set you back the princely sum of €1.50. There are seats built into the shop front so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The girl I was chatting with was a pure doll, she recommended a few local events to me, I really appreciate when people know the community they work in and are welcoming like they are here.
