After I was done stuffing myself silly, I drove over to this Circle K to redeem a coupon. This Circle K is next door to a McDonald's. Both the gas station and convenience store are branded as Circle K. This area rarely has an Esso gas station with a Circle K convenience store. I had a coupon for a free medium Polar Pop. I was pleased to see that this store marketed itself as the Thirst Shop. Yay! I find that in the greater Toronto area, if a Circle K has a Tim Hortons as part of the store, the Polar Pop and Froster machines have disappeared. Sad. This Circle K didn't have a Tim Hortons. It was large and spacious, with everything that I could ask for and more. Egg salad sandwiches. Fruit. Reese's products. Pop. Beer. Candy It had Polar Pop, Froster, and Swirl soft serve machines. I was so happy and relieved! There were a lot of Polar Pop flavours to choose from. I ended up getting Jones pineapple cream soda. I didn't know if this pineapple cream soda was going to taste good. For the first time in my life at any Circle K, I put some ice in my cup, filled it up with a bit of this cream soda, took a sip, and determined whether I'd want to fill up my cup. The Jones pineapple cream soda was delicious. I continued to fill up my cup and got a straw. I headed to the counter and redeemed my coupon. A nice man was putting away items under the counter. He eventually greeted me. He scanned the barcode on my cup. He then went to scan my coupon. The first time didn't take. He had to log in and he scanned the coupon again. Success! I thanked the man and left with my drink. It got me home. I loved this drink a lot. It was great stopping by. I'd return for more yummy drinks whenever I'm in Orillia. (157)
