No hello or introduction. No how'd this happen or questions about how the injury might impact your life. Dr. Rappette's complete lack of empathy and interpersonal skills was striking. Not once did he attempt to make a connection or make the patient feel comfortable. Throughout the visit, he was brisk and dismissive. We were beyond disappointed. Before leaving we were asked by the woman at the front desk if we'd like to speak to an office manager and we said yes. Rather than that happening, we were gaslighted by the doctor coming out instead. This was unprofessional of him and the office staff. Overall, this was a horrible experience.

My point is that if she was deficient, she wouldn't be at Willow Falls doing personal visits there since old folks dont hold back, they tell you how they really feel. She might mess it up. the next day my massage therapist worked on the cuboid bone in my foot. That was the cause of the foot problem. I had tight muscles in my thigh which made the leg seem weaker. I had the feeling he was trying to push me into medical solutions for things that could be easily remedied by my long time chiropractor and massage therapist. After a thorough examination he explained to me it was not my foot and believed the problem to be my back. He immediately ordered physical therapy for me, a lumbar MRI, told me to find a back doctor and I started my journey of healing which does concern my back. I will be forever grateful that he did not order unnecessary tests. Physical Therapy and Acupuncture is actually what is healing the numbness in my foot. I spoke to her several times while waiting, and she was very friendly , but did not get any exams or therapy done thru her. Parking can be a bit tight as they share the lot with other businesses but usually its not a problem. This is the place to go!

I searched throughout my insurance network and this was the one podiatrist office that didn't complicate getting an appointment. I was able to get an appointment with only a short wait time. The office is located in a convenient location, it's right off Lincoln Ave and a block off Damen. There is a train stop, Irving Park, not to far from the office and several buses run near the office. It was easy to get to the office. During my visit I was paired with Dr. Heidi Hoffman, she is amazing! I arrived a few minutes before they opened and Dr. Heidi Hoffman allowed me to come in so I didn't have to wait outside. She was friendly and very educational. As I mentioned above, I came into the office for toe pain that was making it hard to use shoes. She listened to my issue and quickly noticed what could be causing the pain. She was able to give me a instant short-term pain relief and gathered whatever was needed for additional tests. She was also able to help me understand more things about my foot. After the appointment, I was updated roughly a week later about the results of the test and given instructions on how to deal with the continuous toe trauma that she discovered. It's been a few months and my toe barely aches when I put on shoes. I can press on the toe that had the issue and it doesn't hurt. It was the complete opposite a few short months ago. I would highly recommend coming to Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center for all of your needs.
