I had high hopes after seeing Dr. Salehi. We had agreed upon surgery. That's when things went really badly for me. The scheduler for his office has failed on numerous occassions to simply do her job. She failed to communicate to the pre-surgery testing center which caused me to have to wait 2 hours and then she didn't manage the insurance approval so the evening before surgery we had no idea if they would approve it. The day of surgery they continued to ask me to wait as they tried to fix the schedulers mistakes but alas it was tool late. I recommend any other spine surgery center than this one. after a serious accident in Oct of 2014 where I was rear-ended and almost killed by an SUV while driving my motorcycle. the pain has become unbearable and recently December of 2018 I could not take it anymore and after Consulting with Dr. Salehi and him reviewing my MRIs and x-rays I agreed to have a major 5 1/2 hour back surgery. it's only been about 2 weeks but I feel the surgery was a success and to me Dr. Salehi is an Angel! I highly recommend him and his medical team! I usually post funny, informative reviews but this one is serious. Dr Sean Salehi is one of - if not THE finest Doctors I have ever met!!! I used to sell medical supplies for a living. I then had another profession where I sustained quite a few severe injuries. One of the injuries being bulging discs in my neck crushing my nerves. So I've dealt with, on a personal and professional level, many more Drs than the average person usually does. I can say with 100% confidence Dr Salehi is incredible. Over the course of my treatment Dr Salehi cared how I felt, how I was progressing and most importantly fixed my problem via surgery. Dr Salehi took a conservative path before he performed the surgery. He's not a butcher who cuts everyone he can open. He's not motivated by money. His motivation is to help you. I was in an auto accident over two years ago which bulged several discs in my neck and I cannot explain the pain I was in. When it comes to something as serious as back surgery, you want the best. Dr. Salehi gave my husband terrible service and I only wish there had been a review out there to warn us at the time. My husband went in for what is considered an "outpatient procedure" and afterward was immobile and had to be admitted to the hospital. Dr. Salehi never checked in with him. Months later when he was still in unbearable pain, Dr Salehi would only relay through assistants that "it'll take time". This week, my husband had a repeat of the same procedure, by a Dr. with a much better reputation and was up and walking after a few hours and is feeling better. And...the doctor actually came to see him afterward! It pained me to watch my husband suffer debilitating chronic pain for 2 years and it stung a little extra that Dr. Salehi seemed unconcerned. In city such as this with talented professionals who genuinely care there is no reason to settle for the "Salehis" of the world. read more

Dr. Salehi is the BEST spine surgeon!! I highly recommend him to anyone who is dealing with back pain. My father was in severe debilitating pain and not able to walk upright for several months. I went with him to see Dr. Salehi and Liz,...and they spent time examining him and ordered an MRI. Dr. Salehi and his staff, Milly, Maritza and Liz were all wonderful! They were so caring and patient with my father and I. Dr. Salehi was very professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and procedure that would be involved to correct the issue. My father had a L4-L5 laminectomy procedure to remove a synovial cyst on his lumbar spine. He felt immediate relief from the pain and was up and walking normal the same day after the procedure. Dr Salehi was a referral from my workers comp doctor. I had already seen my own neurosurgeon and was going to see him just as a second opinion. He had the exact same diagnosis and solution as my Dr, only with a less invasive technique. He impressed me so much with his attention to detail and willingness to talk to me for as long as it took for me to understand the entire procedure, risks, etc, that I left my Dr. and chose Dr. Salehi to perform the surgery. I had a TLIF, 2 level fusion (l4-l5-s1) and had a very positive outcome. Everyone reacts differently to surgery, and sometimes outcomes aren't good. But I believe you will be giving yourself the best opportunity for success with Dr. Salehi. I felt confident in his skill and knowledge from the first appointment, through surgery, and recovery. I got in a car accident and I exhausted every minimally invasive treatment possible to alleviate the pain and injuries that I sustained from the impact. Surgery was the last possible resort. I was originally referred to Dr. Salehi by my best friend who works as a Spine Specialist. She has known Dr Salehi since his residency and has been in the OR with him for countless surgeries. When I started the conversation about the possibility of surgery, he was the first and ONLY surgeon that she recommended I go to, after working with dozens of other surgeons in the industry. After seeing first hand, the great precision, mastery of skill and high caliber technique that he continually instruments in his OR, she was the best recommendation I could ever have. I still interviewed three other highly regarded surgeons, to do my homework and even without her recommendation, there would be no other surgeon I would have gone with to get my recent spinal fusion. He took all the time in the world to answer every question I needed answered. There was no ego and he has such a kind and sweet disposition. Leading up to my surgery, I heard countless other people tell me how highly regarded he was as one of the best neurosurgeons. I never heard one negative thing about Dr. Salehi, only positive reports. I got my surgery at his Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and I could not recommend a better facility or staff. A spinal fusion is not an easy surgery, but if you need one, there is no other surgeon or place that I would recommend to have it at. His staff was so attentive to my every need, before, during and after the surgery. Liz, his physicians assistant was amazing, along with Milly who does his scheduling and all the follow up. I cant speak more highly of my experience. I am 6 weeks out and I can completely tell that even though I still feel the pain of the actual procedure, that Dr Salehi healed me of the chronic pain that I was living with for so long.
