Very friendly doctor and staff I would recommend them. They did not preform any unnecessary things like some doctors do.

It took no less than 4 texts and phone calls to get them to send the order for the MRI. Meanwhile, she told her assistant to get a brace for me. They just put it on me without discussing it and charged me over $80 for it on my way out. When I went for the follow up, Dr. Hyderi said I had multiple issues with my ankle and I needed to wear a boot for 6 weeks. Again, she sent the assistant to get a boot, they put it on me and charged me $197 for it on my way out. She also wrote me a prescription for an NSAID cream that cost $87 AND was on auto refill for 2 weeks later. She told me I should also consider getting a stem cell injection because it could speed up the healing process (but no guarantees). That would cost $1500 and insurance doesn't cover it. And of course there were office charges on top of all that. Then I got another bill for an additional $40 for the boot because insurance didn't cover it. So I paid $237 for a boot that costs $60 on Amazon. I decided to get a second opinion at Kipferl and I'm SO GLAD I DID. Dr. Steven Kipferl explained the results of my MRI in great detail, said I should wear the boot for 2 weeks, not 6 and concentrate on getting the inflammation down by icing it, applying NSAID cream (OTC for $15) and taking prednisone ($5 prescription). A stem cell injection was not recommended until he could pinpoint what area might need one and if I chose to get one, it would cost about $750, not the $1500 Dr. Hyderi would charge. After 2 weeks, my ankle is 100% better. Foot & Ankle Specialists is all about making money. Kipferl is about taking care of their patients.

So I am giving this office two stars because of the gorgeous, new and modern office setting, and…read morefor the staff. They were very attentive, friendly and very courteous. My experience with Dr. Hyderi was good as well. She was friendly, talkative and engaging. I went in with severe heel pain. I explained my symptoms to the medical assistant who said "oh that's plantar fasciitis." I was a little surprised (I was thinking maybe a heel spur?) but, hey, I'm not a doctor! So Dr Hyderi comes in and says "I hear you have plantar fasciitis?" I'm like "....um I have no idea! That's why I'm here." She then explains to me that with plantar fasciitis, I need physical therapy, orthotics and a cortisone shot. Not a fan of shots, but if it gets me out of pain I'm all in. I ask her a few times "with the shot, is my pain gone quickly?" Both Dr Hyderi and the assistant said "your pain is gone almost instantly!" Great! Sign me up... I get the shot, which wasn't so bad. But was still in a ton of pain. Jump to a week later and it's worse than before. My insurance changed so unfortunately I had to change podiatrists and start all over. When I got to my new doctor, he immediately says "I don't think you have PF...I think you've ruptured your fascia tendon." He does an X-ray, ultrasound and MRI and it's confirmed...its ruptured. My frustration with Dr Hyderi is she didn't even consider it being something other than PF. No test, no further investigating. She said a shot would fix me and it only made it worse. I wish she would have been more thorough, rather than just injecting my foot and sending me on my way. Since I have seen her, I've done research that says with a ruptured tendon, a cortisone shot can actually make it worse, or cause the healing process to drastically slow down. Great...just great...

Bad service. Overly expensive. I can't get assistance on billing and they have not been honestread more

My wife scheduled a consultation appointment with Dr. Becker to have her bunion remove on her foot…read morein August. Dr. Becker was friendly during the appointment and provided his approach to remove the bunion. My wife was all in and wanted to schedule the surgery. Dr Becker committed to research potential surgery dates and get back to my wife. We had a vacation planned in January and hoped to have the surgery completed well before then. After waiting 2 weeks and not hearing back from the office my wife called and left a message asking for an update. She waited, and waited, she called and left a couple additional messages over the next few weeks that also went unanswered. Honestly, we still haven't received a surgery date after over 3 months. We gave up, time to find a different doctor. Then we get the $200 bill for the appointment (we had a $20 co-pay) and my wife forwarded a check for the $20 with a letter explaining her frustration with his office (I recommended she not pay until he schedules the surgery however she lost all faith in his ability after this experience). His office can't even get the billing right, we just got another bill for $10 saying we only paid $10. I'm staring at the cancelled check for $20. We HIGHLY recommend you avoid Dr. Becker if you expect any results from the consultation, just send him a check for $200 and considerate it frustration avoided.

She's also lousy at billing, makes a lot of errors and then blames the patient for her mistakes. Strange office---most of the time it's empty and the front desk is rarely staffed, which in retrospect may be a blessing, as you probably would not want to meet rude Diane, lol. Worst of all, this doctor didn't help my foot pain at all. I went to another doctor and received good treatment immediately, plus the doctor and staff at the new place were uniformly friendly. Would never go back here, and suggest you do likewise.
