I have been a patient at this facility for a very long time. It is absolutley wonderful. The doctors in my opinion are very professional and really care about their patients. Since the end of December I have been seeing Dr. Joshua Lisonbee for maintenance on my feet. He is very knowlegeable, kind and considerate and has great manners. I had my first appointment on 01/06/2025 with Dr. Larsen due to some right foot pain that I have been dealing with since 07/2024 with an unknown etiology, no injury no trauma. I had an xray ordered by my primary NP in Nov. 2024 @ Steinberg that they were able to pull up. Two of my co-workers recommended Dr. Larsen & had nothing but good things to say about him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was easy to make an appointment over the phone & it didn't take too long to get an appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What was great is how close this office to my home is. :-) My appointment was for 1:30pm & they recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork which was 3 pages. General info. & a short health history. I unfortunately got there about 1:25pm. When I first walked in the front desk is right there but it was hard to see Brenda due to the counter being low & her computer screen being high. I signed in & sat down. I was soon called up to hand over my driver's license & insurance card and was given the paperwork to fill out. They had TV's, comfy chairs & magazines in their waiting room to keep you occupied while you wait to be called back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Brenda was very nice & professional to me and other patients that arrived in person and the one's who called on the phone[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] as unfortunately you can hear everything while sitting in the waiting room that is so close to the front desk. I was called up by another girl @ the desk who wanted to take my picture to have under my file for identity purposes. I was called back by Tisha,MA who had asked me if I had any prior xrays done & I told her I had & where they were done @. She told me that they can access them but asked if it was O.K. to do more, which I agreed to. They have this cute, little small platform to stand on for your feet/foot xray & she gives you a lead vest to protect your girly parts. Funny thing is I was having trouble getting my boot unzipped. I couldn't get the zipper down, even Tisha was trying to help me out. Well ding dong me realized that the outer zippers on my boots are for looks & don't zip down, its the zippers on the inside of the boots so we had a good laugh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was very patient with me & my issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once the xray was done she took me into an exam room. While in the exam room I got to hop up onto the exam chair where I was instructed to take my shoes & socks off. There was this cute little pad with decorated toes/feet on them. (see photo) Tisha,MA took my BP & pulse and then started to ask me about my pain & symptoms. At first I thought she was an xray tech. but because she was doing my vitals & history I had to ask her what her job title was & she told me she was a medical assistant. (MA) That's pretty cool she's able to do both jobs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was very nice, friendly & happy. I really liked her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She left the room & soon after Dr. Larsen had come in. He had already viewed my xrays, my history & chatted with Tisha,MA. We talked some and he did some tests on my feet with a small pricking device to see if I could feel it and used this vibrating tool. He checked pulses & had me do some pushing & pulling movements with my feet. His thoughts that maybe my pain is nerve related. He gave me some pain patch samples & put one on my foot where the current pain is. He offered to prescribe me Meloxicam which is an NSAID that he said will work better then Ibuprofen. He offered to give me a 30 days supply for $20.00 @ the office (for convenience) or he could call it into my pharmacy. I opted for the later which was good since it only cost me .70 cents thru my insurance. He offered to make me orthotics insoles but would see if they were covered by my insurance first. Brenda told me when I checked out if insurance doesn't cover them that they cost $450 & you pay 1/2 of that when you go in to get your mold down & the rest when you go back to pick them up. I ended up being there for 1.5hrs which I thought was long, but it went fast. I liked how no one rushed me while I was there and took their time with me, listened to me & showed concern for my pain that I've been having for "too long." I go back in two weeks for a follow up after using my pain patch & NSAID. If I'm still having pain then Dr. Larsen said the next step will be an MRI of my foot. I highly recommend Dr. Larsen for your DPM needs. 5 stars for sure!! Thank you everyone!! read more

From my grandparents: We got a referral to see Dr Joshua Lisonbee from Nevada Foot & Ankle for a planters wart on my wife's foot. After examination he removed a blister he saw between her toes and blister( Dr said this isn't a planters wart it's a blister)We returned 10 days later and he explained the blister is from walking on the ball of her foot not the heel due to a stroke she had 3 years ago and it's called drop foot. Dr Lisonbee replied this blister will return again and again if her foot isn't fixed, so he put in a referral to see if Dr Hawk can help with a surgery to cut the small calf muscle then stretch the big muscle and be put into a boot for 6 weeks to flatten her foot as it heals . He also sent in toe clippings to a lab to see exactly what medication is needed for her fungus and not just him guessing what's fungus she had. I've had problems with ingrown toenails for as long as I can remember. I had been super nervous to go in & get input on what I should do & Dr Stacey recommended me getting the side of my toenails completely removed down to the root so they no longer grow back & i would no longer have to deal with them. It was by far the easiest & quickest thing I had ever done. I had it done on both big toes. The left one I had done 2 weeks ago to the day & it has been healing great with absolutely no pain. Even though the doctor was fine, the office staff was inefficient, charging me $700 for the visit AFTER I left the office. They didn't check my insurance and didn't tell me that I needed to pay $700 PRIOR to me seeing the doctor. On top of that, their billing office staff is even worse, the rudest people ever. read more

The doctor I saw here was very nice and informative. I had a surgery scheduled last year that I had to cancel 24 hours in advance due to a family emergency. It is now several months later and I have left four messages to the surgery scheduler with no return phone call. Now I am going to go to an Orthopedic foot specialist for the surgery and that is fine by me since after all, I can't have any complications. The doctors in the group are amazing the billing there is a severe issue I have left messages MONTHS AGO & month ago and a week ago no return calls I speak to the young lady at the front desk to his polite who called me back when she said she was and told me the billing department would call me unfortunately I've left another message with the billing department they're only there Monday and Wednesdays half a day it is the most ridiculous billing department I have ever dealt with. I wish the doctors office would get a better billing department they won't even bill your secondary insurance that's your responsibility to do even though you don't know how to do it or have no help how to do that the doctors are amazing the facility itself their billing practices are horrible I do not recommend this I've been dealing with this for 9 months and the problem has not in any direction or form been taken care of I can't even get return phone calls this is just a really bad experience with their billing department who will not build a secondary insurance that somehow falls on the patient responsibility most ridiculous practices I've ever heard of. I am a 4'8" 83 year old woman who has had a hip replacement and 16 year old knee replacements. I use a cane when walking a short distance. I have seen Dr. Douglas Stacey several times in past years and was very happy with the treatment I received from him and the clinic. On January 25, 2021 I saw Dr. Stacey for a Left Swollen ankle. I was x-rayed and given a diagnosis of 2 old fractures. Dr. Stacey and his assistant fit me for an archaic boot from the top of my hip to the bottom of my foot. I was told I would have to wear this boot 24 hrs. a day and only remove it to shower. I live alone and I explained that I doubted I could manage this. I tried to stand and I was so unstable I told them it would put me in danger. I could not even walk to the car and had to be put in a wheel chair. When my friend took me home I was not able to move and he had to help me inside the house and remove the boot. I called the office and requested to bring the boot back. I was told that since I had it on even the short time they could not take it back. I have been receiving bills for $250 for something the I had told them was cause me great harm. read more

I took my 13 yr old son for ingrown toenails and he kept talking through the entire procedure to keep him distracted but I was the one who was on edge and needed distraction. Dr Stacey is thorough, very friendly and is great at putting you at ease. I did have a small problem with the front desk. They tried to charge me $130 for orthotics that we never ordered. When I informed them of their mistake they then charged me a $30 copay. My son is double insured through his father and myself, there is no copay. read more

My initial visit with Dr. Larsen was fine. He was able to give me a cortisone shot in my foot and in the accurate location since the previous podiatrist missed. After about 6 months, I returned because the shot wore off and I was now experiencing the same problem in my right foot. Dr. Larsen didn't even examine my feet and said he didn't want to continue or provide any relief for me until I had an MRI done but felt custom orthotics (that my insurance doesn't cover) was the way to go. So I paid a $40 office copay just to be handed an MRI referral slip which I could have just picked up at the front desk. Later on I'd learn that the MRI imaging place he sent me to doesn't even take my insurance. When I called them about the issue they informed me that my account was in collections (wtf!!) and while I could go get my MRI done at a place that ACTUALLY took my insurance, I would not be allowed to review the results with Dr. Larsen until I paid the past due balance (I paid my copay at time of service so I don't understand). I never received a bill, a phone call, nor did they mention anything when I was at the doctor's office. So, I paid the $33 bill they sent to collections (still, wtf) but I went to a new AMAZING podiatrist with my MRI results. Both of my plantar fascia are nearly completely torn (among some other minor compensation related problems) and my new podiatrist immediately scheduled surgery. He didn't understand why Dr. Larsen still wanted to pursue conservative methods when I've dealt with my problem for YEARS. If you're looking to get your issue actually resolved, don't go to this place. They'll just give you the run around. read more

Very disappointed, paid for nothing. First visit doctor confirmed what my foot issue was, Terry the office insurance liaison was to confirm coverage within 1 to 2 days. Never heard back. Over the next 2 weeks call and left 5 messages. She finally left a message telling me call my insurance company and find out the billing code she needed. I called my insurance company and they didn't understand why Terry didn't call. Insurance called her and verified coverage while I was on hold. I called Terry to confirm she had everything she needed. She was rude, aggressive and confrontational. Asked to speak to her manager. This was the second time I spoke with him. I had expressed my concern before about Terry not calling me back. Just like the last time I I spoke to him he didn't express concern. He summed it up as be glad it wasn't open heart surgery. Really! Dr. Stacey and his staff are amazing! I saw Dr. Stacey die a terrible ingrown toenail and his MA/nurse, Tisha, was the absolute best! She was so welcoming and comforting. I'm the kind of girl who will not go to an office or go back to an office if the doctor is great, but the staff is awful. So this to me was AMAZING. Tisha and Dr. Stacey took such wonderful of me. I have zero pain throughout the procedure. Dr. Stacey and Tisha took their time to explain the procedure to me and every little detail. I was comfortable the entire time and would HIGHLY, 10/10, recommend Dr. Stacey! I also do not have insurance, so I was cash pay. They are SUPER affordable.
