When they first started out they promoted a circus or carnival style atmosphere in their stores but this has since been toned down. Online sales is now their fastest growing division. This particular store is located in my local mall and I came in looking to find some shoes for work. I am on my feet 12 hours a day so I need quality over quantity. Gone are the days when I could throw on any $10 sandals. Now I need arch support and padding and if possible I still like them to look cute too. Their selection includes name brand shoes for men, women, and children. Brands they carry include Sketchers and Converse. They also carry accessories like handbags. Their prices are comparable to what you would pay in other stores. I didn't see a large selection in the kind of shoe I wanted and the ones they did have were out of my size. Stores are competitive in the area I live in. There are so many places to shop. This was my first time trying Carnival and while I wouldn't say I would never come back, there are other shoe stores I prefer over this one.

They always have something you're looking for and the prices range greatly so you can always find something in your budget. Shoes seem to range from $30-$100+. They even have an accessories section where you can find bags, hats, socks, etc. Store is usually clean and organized. Sometimes you'll find a box in the wrong section or missing a shoe but for the most part they keep the store in good condition. Staff is also very nice.

I did return it with the receipt and they did give me another pair Which was also defective upon the first wearing. On my fourth trip back to return the shoes they refused to give me a credit because I never received my original receipt back from them. I was completely treated in a very disrespectful manner and they would not issue me a credit on my credit card. Instead they gave me a store credit. Of course I will never shop in that store again and was horrified at my treatment in the shop. Thank goodness for American Express who will be disputing this claim and crediting my account.

The store is loaded with an impressive high wall of soccer balls and basketballs which seem to be the focal point upon entering. It was very quiet and lots of staff but no greeting which is a first. The wife actually confronted staff at the register to direct us to a specific area. The found a FL Panthers common T-shirt that she liked but at an astounding $40.00 she put it back on the table.

I came in Rack Room Shoes looking for a very specific type of sandals for my son. He is super picky and if I get the wrong thing, he won't wear them. I asked an associate, I described them as best as I could. I am not sure if these type of sandals have a specific name, He didn't get it, but pointed me in the general direction where men's sports sandals are. I didn't see anything I could get, but they do have a good selection. The store is neat, even the clearance area. They do seem slow in comparison to other shops in this plaza, bur that is a plus a lot of times. Especially on weekends when most stores are packed and lines are long.
