Came in to get a runner's belt, and was greeted by friendly staff. There were multiple choices, but I was able to quickly settle on one after getting rave reviews from one of the workers. As I was going for a run immediately after, the staff member took the packaging off for me so I could use it right away. The belt worked like a charm! I love Runner's Depot. This is the sister store to the one in Davie. It's a bit smaller, but the staff is just as helpful and accommodating. They will fit you for shoes, check how you walk, see if you need new running shoes by checking the tread on your old ones, etc. I came here the other day for new knee supports. They only had one in the size I needed. Phil immediately called the Davie store but couldn't reach them. He took my number and promised to call within 30 minutes. I had only just gotten into my car when he called. He offered to pick the brace up for me and bring it to the store by the next day if I didn't want to go to the Davie store to pick it up. 3/7/2018 - DIVA NIGHT EVENT! (6:00pm - 7:30pm) A night of Wine, Chocolate and Fun. I am subscribe to their email alerts and this event came through. I was very excited to go and invite a few friends. The first 50 ladies who RSVP got a goodie bag. I RSVP via email on March 1st to Renee for myself and 3 of my friends. When I first arrived at 6pm sharp, they were still setting up. I walked up to the counter and gave my name. The lady did not find me or my friends but, no big deal, we still received the goodies bags. I saw my friends who also received their bag and bought two pairs of Brooks. The staff is fantastic! Always helpful and knowledgeable. I looked around to see the shoes on sale. They had a lot of men's shoes (sizes 9-13) but only a few boxes for the women's shows. Compared to the Davie store, they are smaller and they don't have as much merchandise but you can still get plenty of things. We grabbed the mini Jimmy John's sandwiches and a glass of wine. They also had Aroa Craft Yogurt samples. They had a Bra Fitting by Anita Active and a nutrition specialist. Best of all, there was a 15% off ALL PURCHASES. I see most of you have great reviews but my one and only experience was horrible. The one star review is not based on product but based on customer service. About 1-2 months ago, I went into the Coral Springs store (Coral Ridge) to buy On-Cloud OC sneakers. I waited 20 minutes as there were two families ahead of me. When the gentleman first met me, he insisted on telling me he is the owner of this store and 5 others (I wasn't impressed). I told him I just bought Brooks and really wasn't impressed with them at which time he rolled his eyes and tried to explain to me that buying sneakers is a science. I politely told him that my $70 Sketchers were more comfortable then the Brooks. Once again he reminded me about his vast knowledge in sneakers. When I finally found a pair of OC sneakers to purchase he told me they did not have my size and he would have to order them and call me. It's been several months and have not heard from him. Guess those 5 stores were out as well? Since then, I have purchased three pairs of OC sneakers online. Maybe he owns the websites as well. read more

If you want the right running shoes this is the place to go. I recently started running and am up to three miles a day but right around mile two my foot falls asleep every single time making the last mile painful. Trying to make do with my Sketchers wasn't going to cut it anymore.I decided to take the time and money today to get fitted for the right shoes . I came in when they opened and Bob helped me. First Bob measured my feet to make sure they were both the same size (something I had never thought of). Next he watched my walk across the store in socks a few times and based on my walk and fitness goals he picked out three different pairs of sneakers for me to try on. I liked the first two and I really loved the last pair, New Balance Fresh Foam 1080. After I settled on the New Balance pair he had me get on the treadmill and watched as I walked to make sure the shoes were a good fit for me. Best of all they were last years model so I got $50 off of them.They were the last pair in my size, it was fate. I was so pleased with the discount that I even splurged on some new socks Bob suggested . Bob was so helpful and he gave me a lot of good running tips. He even invited me to the running club that meets on Thursdays at 6:30. He showed me the map and made suggestions where I could turn back if I didn't want to go the full five miles. If you need real running shoes than this is your go to store. The customer service is excellent and the price for a pair of sneakers is similar to what you would pay in a department store without anyone making sure they are good for you. If you are going to run you owe it to yourself to buy the proper shoes in order to prevent injuries. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. read more

My wife and I are NOT runners. However, we both have foot issues, and our podiatrist sent us to Runner's Depot for new walking/running shoes. The staff here are not only nice folks, but very well versed in their product line. They will not let you leave with shoes that do not fit properly. They observe all new customers walking around the store without shoes to see if a neutral or adjusted shoe is needed. They also check your gait on their treadmill. We left with several pair of shoes, and felt that we had new shoes that will treat our feet with tender, loving care. read more

Hopefully you get to work with the manager Steve or Lauren. Both are great and very knowledgeable. Both are very personable and it makes the experience less stressful. The store has pretty much everything you need as a runner. They carry multiple shoe brands and a handful of models from each of those brands. A good variety of clothing options as well as nutritional options. They carry a good amount of Garmin watch models as well. The store is very clean and nicely organized. They will watch you walk to determine the right shoes for you. If you're willing to trust their skills and experiences, you will end up in the right shoes and notice a difference. They also host a run club/group every Thursday night from the store. Some nights they'll have beer and snacks. Definitely a great place to go for your running needs and connect with local runners. read more

Best local running store! Every Thursday at 6:30pm runners meet in front of the store to run anywhere from 3-5 miles. Runners Depot provides water and GU as well as a raffle every week. The runners in the club are very nice and welcoming!! All abilities of runner come out. Would highly reccomend this running club. The store is awesome too. They just remodeled and doubled in size. They are always getting in new things and carry a wide variety of anything and everything you could need/want for running. Explained this as soon as I went in so the guys would know what I was looking for. Steve wasted no time in showing me a couple of options based on the shoe I was retiring and my inclination to pronate. He even offered a chance to jump on the treadmill to see how shoes felt. I am not a runner. I am a walker, I walk anywhere from 5-7 miles daily. I have always purchased shoes from the usual places, Dick's, Sports Authority or New Balance store. As I have gotten older my feet seem to hurt and take a good longer to recover. Based upon a recommendation of a friend who is a serious runner (Boston, NY and any number of marathons) he sent me to Runners Depot in Coral Springs. I visited the store and they took the time to measure, assess my gait and not push just any brand but a shoe that fits me. I bought some serious Brooks and my pain is a thing of the past! So if you think that this is some runner snob shoe store you would be wrong. I purchased a pair of Asics GT-3000 and after 7 months of (very moderate) use the sole of one of the shoes came off. Of course this is not the Runner's Depot's fault, however when I called to ask for assistance and to see if they were willing to replace the shoe they were very short and rude. The gentleman on the phone was basically telling me that there's nothing they can do and the only option was to buy NEW shoes. I will never buy a pair of shoes at this place again, no matter how "great" their store is. All I needed was advice on how to repair the shoe or perhaps an in-store credit. Buying a pair of running shoes that cost $125+ should last more than 7 months. Glad other people had great experience. I DID NOT! They lost a customer over lack of tact and customer consideration. read more

This place rocks! If you can find it, that is. Coral Springs super strict signage laws make sure you have to search high and low for everything (including fuel prices, which cannot be displayed!). It's in a shopping center right off the Sawgrass Expressway, where you'll probably be able to see the falafel place first. Runner's Depot is right next door to it. It's a relatively small space and they still manage to have a great selection of shoes, gear, nutrition, and clothes. Their website is also well maintained, and they hold events at the store pretty often. I attended a Chi Running Basics workshop yesterday and it was great. The staff is very nice and helpful. They treated us courteously even though we were sitting and standing in the middle of their facility while they served customers, and even provided us with cold water bottles for our run on such a hot day. I'll definitely be back for more workshops and running gear! read more

He asked me to walk and told me I protonate and then got me maybe 5-6 different shoes to try on to see what for best. Only one star because they said hello that's it. I came in on a Sunday today in fact a little before 4:00 and when I did I was looking for a pair of shoes . I guess the wanted to leave they kinda brushed me off . I told the lady that I'm looking for a brook shoe instead of helping me she explained the process of having to be fitted properly and it takes 30 mins and stuff which is fine I get it except because it had just turned 4 she told me basically I had to come back I said do you have to have N appointment she said No but we like to fit you properly however I said I want to buy a pair today she gave me a hard time so I will be taking my business to another running store it's crazy if you close at 4 who cares I came in before four what's the big deal if you truly care about your customers you will help them 30 mins or not it's a sale especially for your over priced shoes !!!!!!!!
