This place is in the downtown Eureka area surrounded by shops and restaurants. This was the first time coming to this place and I walked out feeling so relaxed! I went with a friend that introduced me to this place and I'm so glad she did! My friend and I got a 60 minute foot massage. You lay down in a comfy reclined chair and soak your feet in warm water. They massaged my neck, arms, legs, and feet. The massage therapist did an amazing job! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The massage was $45 for a 60 minute foot massage. Basic foot massage is totally fine. But they are pushy in trying to get you to pay for a more expensive service. I agreed to a table massage, which was kind of painful. I told the male massage therapist that I didn't want to take my bra off and he just said "no, you have to". It wasn't outright sexual assault or harassment, but I don't think he would have touched a male client like that. Probably not going back. The women who work there seem lovely, though. read more

I've been going to FootLogic for about three years, maybe every other month or so. I go to treat a somewhat extreme chronic pain situation in my back that comes and goes along with another chronic pain condition that, together, add up to an awful lot of pain. I figured out years ago when I lived in the Bay Area that *some* practitioners of Asian massage techniques (which I've heard described as accupressure but I'm pretty sure that's missing a lot in translation) possess a skill set that address my giant, gnarly knots like nothing else. These massages tend to be a bit painful, but so long as I can still breathe deeply into them to help release the pain it's usually well worth it afterward. I've had variable experiences at FootLogic, none of them bad. It's true the language barrier is an obstacle, but if you can point to the part of you that really hurts, each person I've had is responsive. Some of their people seem to kind of dial it in and space out and just do a pre-set routine, which is relaxing in its own way and still leaves me feeling much, much better. Others are masterful. I've had one chair massage that brought me to tears there, because of the relief of having a very painful knot finally loosened. On another occasion, they were very sweet to a friend and her daughter when I brought them for foot massages, which also felt great. My husband goes, too. However, the walk-in, one-hour massage I had today might have been the best of my life. Jack told me he is new to the shop, came up a few months ago from L.A. I was a little taken aback by some of his techniques, which were different from what I've experienced before, quite vigorous, and involved unfamiliar positions for my legs and arms. But he was respectful and frequently checked in, asking me if I was okay. When I was uncomfortable with something, he noticed immediately and backed off. He worked VERY hard on my back, and I felt like he was throwing himself into the task of trying to heal me. I'm very grateful. The net result: I feel like I walked out with a new body, one with far, far less pain and tension. I feel like he may have given my chi a boost, like I have a new lease on life after a really tough week. I don't even believe in chi, but there you go. I think Jack may have a magic touch. My only concern is that I won't still be able to drop in there without an appointment once the word gets out. I would expect to pay $150 or more for such a massage in the Bay Area or at a fancier spa with more nonsense. Here, it was $60 (plus a generous tip). read more

After a long drive to Eureka, I called Foot Logic at 7pm. for a massage. They got me in at 8pm. I had the 60 minute Combo massage (Foot/Body) and it was only $55. It was AMAZING! I believe the therapist said her name was Shu Shu (prob butchered that). She worked out the tension in my neck, back and feet. I will be bringing my family here next time we're in Eureka! read more

Positives: Open late, clean towels, and okay foot/lower leg massage. Negatives: Body massages are so bad they're dangerous. Prices are similar to certified massage therapists (CMTs), but the staff at Foot Logic have zero training and can damage soft tissues, neck, and spine. See photo of brochure obtained June 2019. My Mom and I treated ourselves to a half chair foot massage and half table body massage. My person began with the shoulders and head and reeked of cigarette smoke. It was VERY unpleasant to have him breathing right above my head and he did not effectively massage my muscles, he just randomly rubbed/pushed around shoulders and neck. As stated, feet and calves were fine, but afterwards we were led into a room for a table massage. That is where it became unforgivably obvious that the staff were inexperienced and dangerous. My person rubbed painfully up and down my spine and that was it. I enjoy deep tissue massages, but that is not what this was. He did not identify the sciatica muscle, nor was he able to work on muscles around the shoulder blade, he just painfully pressed along the spine. Any "massaging" was simply pushing. He did not understand instructions d/t language barrier and I ultimately asked him to stop. My Mother does not enjoy deep tissue and tried to explain that to her masseuse before he began, but all I could hear was, "softer please" over and over throughout her experience until she stopped as well. (We were side by side.) I almost did not leave a review because it was such an unpleasant experience that I never wanted to think of it again, but I appreciate warnings so I hope to give that to another Yelp user. I thought we had found an okay price with someone who could get both my Mom and me in right away, but I left with serious back pain and deep regrets. Stick to the feet and you should be safe from soft tissue damage and overpowering, stale cigarette smell. Now that I've been, I realize they are way overpriced. Beware!! read more

I love Foot Logic. It's a clean and professional atmosphere and the massage is great. I've been going there for about 2 years. I love to go on Fridays after work alone or with friends. Great way to start the weekend. And you can't beat the price. So far I've only tried the foot massages, they are $25/30min or $35/1hr, and include head, back, arms, etc. The chairs are covered in bleached white towels and the bucket for your feet is wrapped with a plastic liner so everything is super clean. The staff have always been welcoming and you get a free massage after 10 with a stamp card. I usually walk in but if I have more than 2 people I usually call for a same day appointment just to be sure. read more

Massage was good. Kind of a strange atmosphere. I would give it four stars but after reading everyone's reviews it seems like they give everyone different prices for the same service. Also I was given a gift card and had no cash on me when I went, mostly because I'm pregnant and not working anymore so I don't have cash now a days just card, and they asked me for a tip which I thought was strange. Some of the other reviews mention people getting charged extra as they try to force you to tip I suppose. I feel like tips should be on the judgement of the person getting the service not something your asked for, tricked into giving, or guilted into giving as you're leaving. Excellent. I've been coming for two years - I drive 2 hours to come to this spa. I'm a nurse - the staff are highly trained and experienced, knowledgeable about chronic conditions. I have been a regular here for about a year. It's a nice atmosphere and very relaxing. The employees are kind and good at what they do. I always get the hour foot massage for 35 bucks and they soak your feet, massage your head, arm and legs in addition to rubbing the feet. I go here regularly and usually have the 60- or 90-minute foot massage (this includes neck, shoulders, and arms). It's very reasonably priced and no nonsense which I appreciate. I don't need, or want to pay for, a plush atmosphere. Two suggestions: 1) There used to be curtains between the chairs. It would be nice to have those again for a little privacy, and 2) I wish the therapists would wear face masks during the head and shoulders portion of the massage so they are not breathing onto one's face. read more

This place is great. I go here a lot. They don't understand English very well but there's two people that do speak English and you can usually communicate with them. I like deep a massage. There masssges are very prescribed, The same strokes the same amount of time it's very uniform, one size fits all. Nevertheless, it always puts me in a trance. I always feel better afterwards. this is a great place to go if your regular massage person isn't around or if you're not hypersensitive. I bring my own lotion because I don't like the lotions they're using. I go here all the time it think it's a great place, and for the cost of the full body massage or just a one hour foot massage you cannot beat it. I don't like that canned calming Chinese music but I can ask them to turn it down or I put my own music on my phone. read more
