The receptionist greeted me and was nice, gave me some standard paperwork to fill out and I got a new patient welcome envelope that contained massage discounts $10 off massage and information about discounts for referrals $20 off. I was recently in a skiing accident and sustained a fractured leg, torn meniscus and torn labrum. I'm pretty messed up! I really felt like I needed help working out the muscle aches and pains and I was counting on this massage to help me to de-stress and work out the kinks. I was not disappointed. Stephanie did a fabulous job, for one, she really knows her stuff, she listened to what I was saying I needed and made great recommendations based on her professional opinion. I like and needed a deep tissue massage, Stephanie was able to work with me (around my healing injuries) to get my sore muscles to begin to chill out. This was not a foo foo Swedish massage, it was therapeutic, I was a bit achy afterward, I drank tons of water for the rest of the day and by the evening I could feel the benefits of the therapy. If you're looking for a great therapeutic massage and don't mind not having all of the frilly atmosphere, make an appointment here. I gave her a try after being put off by the local large spas with intimidating staff and clientele. It's really just a one room storefront with the massage table behind screens. I was concerned at first that it wouldn't feel as private/quiet as a larger spot but it was awesome. Really like not having to shlump in wearing sweats past the "ladies who lunch" to get a great massage. Super reasonable prices, less than the bigger locations. Wish she had some weekend hours (it's M-F only).
