The inside of the church seems dark as they have no windows. This is a smaller church compared to other churches in the Roseville-Rocklin area. During covid time, they were one of the churches that is open for meditation and visitation. Sad to say I do agree with one reviewer that upon entering, there is an extreme amount of socializing going on which makes it really difficult to concentrate on prayers upon arrival. Noise level is definitely above the roof. In fairness, the choir did render beautiful and engaging music. First, the class is offered virtually, which is a big help when you're a new parent (or a parent of multiples) and struggle to get out of the house at a certain time or are limiting potential exposure to diseases for your newborn. Second, the class is available to anyone, even those who are not currently attending SS Peter and Paul. Third, the class is delivered so professionally: Darcy is on top of all the fine details, communicates clearly and quickly (both in writing and in speech), and checks all the other boxes of professionalism. Fourth, and certainly not last, Darcy brings a lot of joy, inspiration, and warmth to the class. My husband, parents, and sister all have also taken her baptism class and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking to baptize your child or just would like to feel welcomed at SS Peter and Paul, do not hesitate to take Darcy's baptism class (or get involved with any other ministry she leads). Today was my first time attending this church for All Souls' Day at the 10:30 Mass, and it was,…read morewithout question, the most irreverent service I have ever experienced. Before Mass began, the congregation treated the sanctuary like a social gathering--laughing, chatting, and showing no sense of reverence for the Lord or respect for those trying to pray. It was disheartening to see such disregard for the sacredness of the liturgy. Even more disturbing, the visual and audio crew carried on casual conversations throughout the Mass, including during the consecration of the Eucharist--the most solemn and sacred moment of Catholic worship. This complete lack of decorum and respect made it impossible to focus on prayer or reflection. If you value reverence, silence, and genuine devotion during the Holy Mass, I strongly advise seeking another parish. This community clearly treats worship as a routine event rather than an encounter with the divine.

If you are looking for coffee before service starts, it's available in the front lobby. Inside the sanctuary, there are plenty of seats that are angled to allow a good view of the stage. The pastor and staff are all so friendly and are quick to greet you with a smile and a warm handshake when you walk into church. Service starts on time with the worship/singing time. It lasts for about 30 minutes. The worship team is awesome with guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. The music is good but I think that maybe worship time is a bit long. The pastor's sermon is good and it seems like for some people, if a sermon goes too long, that becomes a dealbreaker. I don't mind long sermons if the message is good and easy to listen to. I don't have a problem with the length of the sermon. All told, it was about 1 hour 15 minutes from start to end of the service. What I do notice is that a lot of people show up late, after service has started. For me, I always get to church before service starts because I don't want to be that guy that walks in late. I guess, better late than never when it comes to going to church, right? I really don't have anything bad to say. It's a nice church to go to and we're still debating on whether we want to call this church home. Definitely one of the better churches that we've attended on a regular basis.
