Bridgeway has never had a gay pastor, and the fact that some people assumed otherwise based on appearance tells you everything about where they are, not where this church is. That's the "don't judge a book by its cover" lesson most of us were supposed to learn as children. If your political views matter more to you than your love of Christ, if you believe your sins are somehow lighter than someone else's, if condemning people feels more urgent to you than loving them the way Christ did, Bridgeway is not the church for you. And that's okay. Bridgeway is a church of love, and that's not changing. Bridgeway is also about preaching and educating within the right context. For anyone who genuinely had an unpleasant experience, I'd encourage you to try again. Come see for yourself.

The Saturday services time is at 5 pm. Worship time is amazing especially when Dylan sings; his voice is beautiful . All the pastors are great; pastor Rodney, Lance, Brian and Heather and Judah all give wonderful sermons. The other pastors too give and deliver amazing messages. Easter service is my favorite; quick tip; come To Easter service early because the place fills up super fast. The members of this church are all so happy; it's easy to feel their energy and enthusiasm. Bridgeway also offers a variety of classes, conducts baptisms and has fun events too like Trick or Trunk night for Halloween. Come to this church; you won't regret it, you'll love it!!

I've been to other churches prior to Heritage and non gave me the warm and welcoming feelings I got the 1st time I walked through the doors of Heritage. Pastor Chris and his team made me felt very welcome and to my surprised they remembered my name by the 2nd week. I love sitting through the services because both Pastor Chris and Pastor Hoy are great preachers, I feel they're speaking into my soul. Sadly my work schedule conflicts with sunday service but I try to go as much as I possibly can or I'll listen to the message on their website! I've moved back to the Bay Area but will most definitely attend service when I'm in the area.

Truly a great church family!…read more The expository study of scripture is so helpful and different than many churches I've attended before. The pastor makes a point to preach the Bible in context, and validate scripture with scripture to ensure accuracy. I love that final authority always given to God's word over that of any man. Plus everyone is so friendly and welcoming... it's just a blessing! If you're looking for a smaller church family to worship with, check out HCC.

Pastor Arnaldo Concepcion is an energetic speaker that has an excellent grasp of biblical knowledge. Teaching is by expository preaching which I like a lot more than theme-based preaching. He let's the Bible interpret itself as the way Christian teaching should be. We don't like getting "lost" in megachurches and this one definitely fits our desire to find a great place to worship. Pastor Arnaldo has a lot of past life-experiences that he shares with the congregation and shows how God turned his life around. Come out to this church and give it a try. It is a family environment here and there is also a Sunday basketball fellowship that is open to high school and older boys and men.

I went to a coffee shop at the Fountains working while I sat outside. My attention was peaked when I overheard two woman nearby speaking about thier faith and I resonated with what they were saying so much that I had to ask them what church they went to as I was currently looking for a new home church. They happily invited me to sit down with them and get to know them briefly as they told me about their church. Then I tried their church at Bayside Adventure. I didn't tell them I was going as I didn't want special expectedness. I went wanting to see the real people involved at Bayside & I was genuinely, tentatively impressed with such a warm, compassionate filled presence. I love that I'm not attending a rock concert in the dark! I love that the pastoral team actively encourages you week to week to follow along in your own Bible, not just expecting you to passively listen to them. I will say, you receive what you put out, if you want to get connected- connections are easily made. If you want to keep to yourself, no intrusion is put upon you. Ive been attending, skipped a couple weeks and each time returning to happy faces that genuinely seem happy to see me and continue to be welcoming. I highly recommend this church, the children's ministry is a huge part of this church too, welcoming families, singles, empty nesters, seniors, men, and women. I would easily say there's something for everyone.

The last few days have hit us conservatives hard, been quite emotional and hopeful for God to heal…read moremy heart - so I visited Bayside church on Sunday in hopes of getting the support and prayers. That did not happen: Bayside leaders messed up big time - they did not say a prayer for Charlie Kirk's family or at least have a moment of silence to honor his memory - I left sad and heartbroken... My friends said even Catholic Churches recognized Charlie. Bayside worship leader and pastor did nothing to honor a great Christian who was martyred - I watched the memorial service on YouTube and was so touched... I haven't been to church for awhile, so the visit was truly disappointing- from worship being a performance (overly loud music, lights and video on side screens focused on drummer, etc), this was clearly not about Jesus. Too many inconsistencies in pastor's message, from saying there's true evil in this world and then saying that it's also in all of our hearts: speak for yourself dude... Pastor even joked that he was giving a Ted talk - yeah, it felt like rehearsed speech that he's getting paid for, I didn't trust his words like I believed Charlie Kirk; being a young man trying to find God - I was quite disappointed, didn't feel like this church cares about me.. At one point the pastor said that we're all selfish and our circle of friends are people who like us: does he want us to surround ourselves with people who hate us? Besides few welcoming faces at the entrance- no one came up to chat or cared enough to pray for me. I won't be back and can't recommend this church. I'm sure some churches actually practice what they preach- but not bayside leaders - they are woke liberals, as I'm sure many members are here... From 2005-2020, I served/volunteered and donated a lot of time and $$ to Bayside - no pastor ever recognized my service and donations(even Ray Johnston or Kurt Harlow whom I met) and I came to realize that this liberal mega-church business model is focused on raising $$, not care about people - it's truly a disappointing and heartbreaking experience. Pastors Aaron and Kassidy are the new lead pastors, and they are the real deal--authentic, approachable, and people of obvious integrity. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the moment you walk through the doors you'll be greeted with warmth, kindness, and enough smiles to make you wonder if they actually practiced beforehand. If you have children, you're in luck. The children's ministry is outstanding! It's engaging, safe, and fun, so don't be surprised if your kids ask, "Can we come back next Sunday?" before you even get to the car.
