From the moment you walk through the front door, it's clear that this organization is exceptionally well run. The facility is spotless, organized, and welcoming, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. You immediately get the sense that your children are in capable hands. Our beginning instructors, Miss Gabby and Miss Abby, have been absolutely outstanding. We have two energetic little boys who can definitely keep adults on their toes, yet both instructors have shown incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. They greet our boys with genuine smiles, keep them engaged throughout the lesson, and create an environment where the kids feel both safe and excited to learn. What has impressed me most is their ability to balance a confident command presence with exceptional customer service. They know how to maintain structure and keep the lesson moving while still making each child feel encouraged and successful. That combination is rare, and it's a testament to the quality of instructors RSL hires and develops. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than watching people genuinely care about your children while helping them build an important life skill. After only two lessons, we've already seen confidence beginning to grow, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll at RSL Aquatics. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. We wholeheartedly recommend RSL Aquatics to any family looking for a clean, professional, well-organized swim program with instructors who truly care about their students. We are excited to continue watching our boys learn and grow here!

Things I liked: Your child will SWIM. I think my kids legs…read morefelt like rubber the first day because the philosophy here in both the intermediate and advanced is to just keep swimming! The pool is huge and the instructors send them back and forth over and over! Endurance seems to be the main philosophy. Some of the instructors are very engaging, overall everyone is pretty friendly! Things I noticed Safety is not a huge priority. There is no one on deck keeping an eye out for things the instructors may miss. The first day of class, and multiple after, my kids instructor walked into the building telling the other instructor of the other class to "keep an eye" to which he just kind of laughed and went back to the class he was teaching. Meanwhile she had 4 swimmers in the pool in other lanes behind and the instructor of the other class was faced away from them the entire time. That was my 7 year olds first or second day in the class. I had seen this sort of thing a lot, their instructor would chat with a students mom who was seated in the upper level, she'd face away from the students and just chat. By the 4th class I was ready to let the office know, but then the owner came outside, and held a conversation with the instructor the same way, her back away from the swimmers. My swimmer had been introduced to all of the strokes but I enrolled him to improve his form. He'd taken other classes where there was an emphasis on that. What I found is that there is very little instruction in the advanced class, the students are sent on back and forth several times but only upon request will they be critiqued or given better techniques. It is more like someone standing there somewhat keeping an eye on them and telling them to swim 400 or what not. At one point they had the owner, and at another, her husband and like I mentioned at another point, the other instructor in the other class, "take over" with instructions like "they're doing kickbaord" or "have them do bla" They are not very organized. First day of class the instructor was 5 minutes late. After that the advanced class had multiple people take over. The intermediate class had a lot more consistency, but one of the days Alexis (she did a great job) had to ask the owners husband where her secondary was. She came out a few minutes later , while the class was sorta on hold Things I'm not sure on: The young kids aren't taught to rest float. I've liked other places teach this, in the case that the child knows how to swim but doesn't have energy to get back to shore, or the edge of a pool for whatever reason. I once almost drowned as a kid in a pool right in the middle, I had slowly but surely run out of energy and not noticed til I couldn't keep my head above water. My brother pushed me to the edge. That being said, the rest float is a hard position to get into, so I kinda understand why they don't teach it‍ Overall, i think my kids are stronger swimmers and I'd possibly come back next summer since I trust my kids and I'm keeping an eye the entire time. Its $35 for 30 minutes (so 8 classes comes out to $280) Alexis was very encouraging in the intermediate class and each of the intermediate instructors really pushed the kids, and encouraged them, which I really appreciated:) oh and one more thing, I loved that at the intermediate level, there are two instructors to 4 students! That's a really nice ratio

Came in early Wednesday and there's no one in the pool. I guess they ended around 10am. Thursday is the way worst! Got there before noon and was told the pool will be open at 1pm. They don't care about ruining your time and day! I think the lifeguards are just way too lazy! And the attitude is awful! They use to be friendlier! Instead of being apologetic for messing with your time, they become so defensive!!! There's no way that both the small and big pool is in capacity those days! I've been going to this YMCA for more than 10 years, and never had this problems with using the pool. Whoever is running it now, is clearly disorganized or doesn't know what they're doing. The locker room shower is full of molds every where! I've never seen anyone cleaning. They just keep changing the white shower curtains when it's turns moldy! They are isolating their loyal members. Time to check out other options! Fees keeps going up, even though the service and equipment sucks! This YMCA is not worth it!

The area includes a 24-hour gym, and I've always felt comfortable riding there. While riding, I noticed a suspicious white car parked with its lights on, facing the exit. As I passed, I saw no one inside and thought nothing more of it. A few minutes later, an old, beat-up white vehicle came speeding toward me through the parking lot with its headlights off, forcing me to quickly swerve to avoid potential harm. The vehicle came to a stop, and I saw "Security Patrol" marked on its side. Soon after, the original parked white car pulled up, and a woman identifying herself as Alexis began confronting me aggressively. She claimed I wasn't allowed to park in the lot, which was puzzling since I was clearly on a bicycle. When I clarified that I had no vehicle there, she pivoted and said I couldn't ride a bike there either. I asked where this was posted--there were no signs indicating any such restriction. Her tone was hostile and dismissive from the beginning, and the male security guard from the first car escalated the situation by stating, "I'm allowed to run you out of here." I have this and the rest of the encounter fully documented on video. The situation quickly devolved into yelling, unprofessional behavior, and personal insults from both individuals. After police were called (by the security personnel), the responding officers were professional and respectful. They confirmed that there are no posted rules or signage prohibiting bicycle riding or parking in the lot. They even advised me to submit a formal complaint, which I'm now doing. I have already emailed Danielle Dally, Enrique, and Karla Rodriguez regarding this matter. These two individuals demonstrated a complete lack of training, professionalism, and respect for residents. Their conduct was not only unacceptable but potentially dangerous. I am requesting the following:     1.    That the two individuals involved are removed from patrol in this area immediately.     2.    A copy of the contract or policy that governs security enforcement at this property.     3.    Clarification on any official property rules regarding bicycles or resident access after hours.     4.    A response in writing acknowledging this incident and outlining steps being taken. I look forward to a prompt and serious response. I should not have to worry about safety or disrespect when enjoying my neighborhood.

I told him on the way out see you tomorrow since I had a 3 day pass and this is the proof in my email. Yearly price was around 550$ which is significantly more than 24 but it's a nice gym, he stated before the pass was over there's a deal that's 400+ a year with no annual fee. I walked in right now and he refused to allow me entry saying he couldn't give me a 3 day pass, he allowed me to go in after I showed him this, Brendan just stated to me that he said "see you tomorrow" as he thought I was gonna sign up which I never committed too before finishing the three days pass. All in all it's a very nice gym, and I understand he wants his commission, but how many people has he turned away with a 3 day pass? If you look thru the comments I see other comments that say he's turned them away from the their 3 day pass as well, which sadly he's making it look like LA Fitness is false advertising on their website that you can get a 3 day try out, but he's turning people away. In my years of training Muay Thai in different Dojos, and then going to different gyms in the years from LA, to 24, to Chuze I gotta say Brendan seems to be the worse example representing a brand in gym leadership. Honestly seems like he wants to strong arm you to sign up or leave right then and there.

I received 2…read moreemails welcoming me to their gym, and both would not activate to complete my registration and ID for admittance. Furthermore, the onIine registration was dysfunctional and could not recognize me no matter how hard I tried. The solution seemed simple so I called the gym and the assistant manager could not make the database function to accept me and stated the manager was on the telephone and would call me later. Later never came and 45 minutes later I drove to the gym to cancel my membership. The manager was still on the telephone and could not be bothered. The assistant was able to do what nobody else could do in less than 1 minute by effecting the cancellation. The next stop was Rancho Cucamonga LA Fitness where I was cordially received at the front desk by Brendan and Katherine who were the epitome of accommodating service, speed, and combined cordial attitudes that lightened my earlier unsolved frustration. Within 10 minutes the process of joining the gym was complete, and their smiling faces and great attitudes as I departed left me with one simple thought, "LA FITNESS IS THE PINNACLE OF ACCOMMODATING THOSE WHO WISH TO BE WELL RECEIVED. THANK YOU BRENDAN, AND ESPECIALLY KATHERINE FOR A JOB WELL DONE."

Love how they have games going on and music to keep the mood up! Lately the kids club has been under construction, which looks bad on the grass area, not to mention it's been 3 weeks it's been overheating in there due to AC not working, poor kiddos and poor girls working shifts! I've been a member at this Chuze Fitness location since they first opened in Rancho Cucamonga, and…read moreoverall I really do like the gym. That's also why some of the changes over the years have been disappointing. When this location originally opened, one of the BIG reasons I signed up was the 24-hour access. Obviously COVID changed everything for a while, but years later, I'm disappointed that the gym never returned to the hours it had when I originally became a member. With the more limited hours, it also feels like everyone is trying to squeeze their workouts into the same windows, and the gym can get ridiculously crowded. I understand gyms need memberships to operate, but at some point I think there needs to be more consideration for capacity. There are times when it feels like there are simply too many memberships for the amount of equipment and space available. It can make getting a normal workout in frustrating. Cleanliness is hit or miss. The employees are okay overall, although the friendliness at the front desk can be inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get a hello or goodbye when walking in and out, other times not so much. There are still plenty of things I genuinely enjoy here. I LOVE having access to the sauna and steam room, and when the gym isn't packed, I really enjoy working out here. I've stuck with this location since the beginning because I like Chuze. I just wish some of what made this gym so great when it first opened--especially the extended hours--would come back. With better hours and some attention to overcrowding, this could easily be one of my favorite gyms again.

An…read moreemployee at the Upland location convinced me to prepay for 2 years for roughly $500, and in the process he changed my membership number, didn't cancel the old number, and caused me to be charged another $320 for another membership. First I went on the app and interacted with their AI assistant to try resolving this - but it referred my concerns to an employee who never responded. Then I called the Upland location that made the mess, but the manager said he couldn't do anything to refund the charge, and proceeded to try putting the blame on me for not getting the cancellation of my old membership number in writing! Apparently he thinks I should have done a better job of supervising their employee's work in the computer? Or maybe I should have known that their employee changing my membership number would create such a mess? I asked for a corporate number, and the manager said there isn't one, but I could email customer service. Problem is, he gave me an incorrect email address. So I tried to call the corporate customer service number (which I got from another location), and the automated system wouldn't do anything but circle me back to the Upland gym location. Then I scoured the Internet for a good corporate email address, and sent my email - but no response. I knew that 24 Hr Fitness had to change things after their bankruptcy, but for them to turn their customer service into such a nightmare is unbelievable. In a nutshell, AVOID THIS PLACE. It's not just my membership issue. The complaints from other reviewers on here are also accurate. Poor maintenance, filthy locker rooms, broken equipment, rules that aren't being enforced at all, and days when the music is cranked so loud you can't hear what's playing on your own earbuds.
