Mr. Shane is amazing. His ability to interact with kids/parents is awesome. He's able to make the parent and child in class learn all while having fun. We have had Shane as a substitute teacher in class as well as just day to day interactions because he is always out walking and talking with parents. I enrolled my 7 month old son to the parent and me, Little Fish class. He loves the water and getting him comfortable with being in the pool was important to me. This course helps them with water comfort, breath control and more. The age range for that class is 7 months to 15 months. We love the instructor Caitlin!! She's so sweet and engages well with the littles! She's always happy to see them/us & is a great teacher. Overall, the class is fun but I don't see us staying for longer than a couple months since the course can be a bit repetitive.. especially for it being a possible 9 month course before moving up. Cost is also a bit pricey as well for the type of lesson at this age. With that being said I would definitely return possibly when my son gets a bit older. read more

I currently have my 5 year old swimming at this academy. So far it's been great. The coach seems super sweet and patient and my son is thrilled for his lesson. First heard about this swimming ‍ academy during friends' kid birthday party and parents said they like going here. Several months later wife was looking into getting our son signed up for swimming lessons and found this one with awesome reviews. We went for in person walk around and decided to get on their wait list. Took several weeks before we got confirmation back and just started mid November. Been 3 or 4 sessions now and we love it very much. 30 min. Sessions are great! Just perfect. Our red class teacher is wonderful and very clam, patient, and positive. Facility is clean, organized and staff members are friendly and very professional. Deck managers are courteous and also paying attention to the class teachers and kids learning. Our son cried when first dumped (drizzled really) water on head and face, deck managers came over and talked to teachers on perhaps other methods introducing water over head face for our son. I was pleasantly surprised. They deck managers and swimming teachers are all working together and communicating with each other. 5 stars! Please keep up the good works, you guys are doing great. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They offer several classes like Parent and Me, private lessons, group lessons, water aerobics and more recently Parent and Me for special needs kids and even Gymnastics for the little ones. The facilities are always clean, the indoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature, the showers are kept up, changing room is clean, bathrooms are clean, etc. the facility is always decorated for whatever holiday is coming up and they even have activities for the kids. The lessons may not be the cheapest but are competitively priced compared to others in the area, and in the current economy and with the rising costs of operation I really can't complain much there. read more

Eunice has a wonderful way of connecting with the children, which helps them feel comfortable and excited to learn. She is very patient and knowledgeable. My daughter re-enrolled in late August for swim classes. We've had Shane and he's a great instructor. Full of energy and the life of the party for these kids. I was approached the first full week of November that my daughter was being checked out to advance, but notified by the deck manager that she was a bit sloppy and he would reevaluate her the following week. Unfortunately, here we are four weeks later and I had to inquire what was going on with my daughter and why she hadn't been reevaluated. Come to find out she reverted on her back float so they need to work on that. I hate tho I had to ask. I feel like all the instructors do is talk when they aren't in the pool with the kiddos. The several instructors we've had over the past 18 months never seem to update the parent portal evaluations on the child which can be frustrating to find where they are or aren't progressing. read more

Check in is always super easy and they are always super flexible with make-ups due to our fire family schedule. Pricing is also super affordable! We started coming here during the pandemic. Big reason was for the professionalism shown to us when enrolling. We tried the Y prior to Premier and was miss led as to the level to enroll our kids. We found out the swim course are managed by a different entity, but all calls go through the Y's desk for Q&A. Long story short kids were enrolled into the wrong level. Aside from walking us through the enrollment and proper level of swim lessons for the kids we found the instructors are great with kids. We watch the kiddos swim and learn with smiles on there faces before, during, and after their lessons. This is a top notch swim lessons location. Come try for yourself. We had a lot of fun here for our child's birthday party. We were able to use the entire facility for a very fair price. The price includes lifeguards and host that ensures the facility is closed to the public. They have a large room to host the party and chairs/benches. We were able to bring in balloons, food, cake, everything we needed for the event. The staff were kind enough to allow us to use their fridge to store our cake. The on-site staff were very sweet and supportive. They did their job well. They were informative and helped the kids and adults who needed it. My only critiques would be: 1) when I called to pay the final balance, the admin staff didn't inform me of the process or procedure for how the kids would be assessed for swim skills not was I informed about private lessons that would be held up until the party literally started. The staff had to pull the lanes up and clean up. The kids got into the pool at 250p. This cut into our party time and we didn't get to recoup that at the end. 2) 2 hours is an extremely short time for a swim birthday party. The kids were able to swim for about 60-70 minutes before having to get out for pizza/cake. They weren't able to return to the pool even though we were informed they would be able to. Overall, I would still book here again. Both for a party and for private lessons. I think so explanations need to be made for parties as o the consumer is informed but that can be improved with time and training. read more

As places opened up again, we re-started swimming lessons for my son (who was previously with a well known place in Rancho Cucamonga) as well as beginning swimming lessons for my daughter. We loved a couple of instructors at the other place, but we also experienced many that were not that good and we had no voice in who instructed our child. There was also no specific plan or consistency. That's why I love premier swim academy. In general, most instructors are good, high quality ones. If you happen to not like the one instructing your child, you find another time with someone else (something we could not do at the previous place). All the instruction is extremely systematic and you level up as your child learns particular skills. They will even schedule an assessment if your child is taking too long to level up! read more

The lack of personalized teaching is frustrating. I get that it's a group lesson (2-3 students per class), however I don't like to waste time and money for my kid to do the same thing over and over again. Most of the time, I wonder if the teacher checks the student progress and what needs to be practiced to move up before starting his/her day or before the class? I made a keen observation of my kid's group lesson. There were only 2 students in her class today. The first 5 mins was spent talking / warming up. The next 10 mins was spent doing front glides which my kid has mastered months ago and no longer needs practice on. The next 10 mins was spent practicing back float which my kid needs to master, but since there were 2 of them in class, she only got about 5 mins of practice. The last 5 mins was spent doing a couple jump-ins. Again, a skill that my kid has mastered months ago. For this reason, I'm thinking of dis-enrolling her and looking for another swim class facility. This place comes highly recommended from my Husband and I as only 4 weeks ago, our 4 year old wouldn't dare to go near the pool without floaties or our aid. Fast forward til today, 3 lessons down and his confidence level has improved immensely. We are so proud of him!! He attends group lessons with 2 other classmates (that happened to be siblings ages 3 & 5). He loves his class and especially his instructor, Paige. We were gonna try private lessons until we realized how much more exciting it was for him to have peer to peer interaction. They normally check our temperatures as soon as we walk through the doors. The facility is clean and the customer service is excellent! We'd also like to thank Ms. Lexi (sorry if I misspelled her name) for continuing to take the time before EACH LESSON to build an awesome rapport with our son. One child was in the same level for about 9 months. They would not move him up. We pulled him, and the FIRST day he had a private lesson elsewhere, they told us that our son is STRONG swimmer, and he was swimming across the pool! Premier had him stuck turning over from back to stomach and not teaching him to do strokes. He was entirely capable of swimming, and they did not give him the chance. We asked over and over to move him up they said no because he was not "ready". My second son also was not challenged enough and put in a lower level than his skill. My friend had to pay for privates for her child to progress. Good for skill maintenance, but not for learning to swim at a reasonable speed. Everyday a child goes not being able to swim is dangerous for them. It is important to make sure the kids are progressing, and not just remaining stagnant. From a business standpoint, the longer the kids take to move up levels, the more potential profit the business makes. read more

Being honest... so we started here over a year and a half ago, and while there was times we missed I must say I'm rather disappointed in the progress my kids are making, not to a fault of their own but their distracted instructors. I wish I could post a video of every session, them looking at the clock and the multiple deck managers (who also tend to talk and distract the kids), paying no attention to the child they are working with. They give off an impression they don't want to be here. That said we have had some instructors that have been great, which is why I gave 3 stars. That said, even the great instructors are limited to what they can do as there is so much time spent doing the same repetitive skill because they teach to the group and not to the individual. Then the kids have to wait while taking turns (which I get being it's group lessons) but it's just another drawback to the already frustrating parts of the lesson. When it comes to make-ups it's nearly impossible if you have more than one child, unless you want to wait an hour between lessons or do one one day and then the other on another day. The only reason I felt even more compelled to write this review is the fact that while I was at another sporting event for my kids, I overheard another parent telling someone else about premier (they asked what the parent thought) and when she said aloud everything I was thinking it confirmed how I was feeling. The staff is friendly overall but feeling very frustrated that it's such small progress over such a long period of time. I've spent thousands for lessons and they still can't swim. If you choose to swim here, take my advice and go for private lessons. Don't waste your money on group lessons. read more

My son has been at premier swim for about two years now and we have been very happy with the school and instructors. The pool is clean,the staff is great, and my sons leave every lesson smiling. We have only ever had one difficulty with them and it was quickly resolved to our liking. I have recommended the school to my friends and colleagues. My child has taken to like the same teacher they see each week which is Adam, who is rock star with my child who is speech delayed. He kind and caring, knows how to keep a kids attention with many distractions around. Front desk staff is very nice and will answer any questions I might have. Facility is nice and modern will ample viewing for parents. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel like with a membership/yearly registration fee, there should be something else included. I have no problem with the pricing for the monthly classes or paying the annual registration fee to maintain the facility. The monthly price includes lessons but no free time to come for extra practice unsupervised. Maybe like once a month open free swim unsupervised would be a nice addition to membership. read more

Been taking my son here for about six months now. He started in Academy 2 and leveled up after his first lesson. Then for the remainder of time he's been stuck in Academy 3. According to some of his most recent scores on the app, they're still rating him as 1 out of 3 stars on some tasks. There have been many nights where on the way home he's frustratedly asked me what he has to do to graduate to the next level. I'm not sure what a reasonable expectation is but by Premiers own evaluations, he's not improving. I see him diligently trying. Sometimes you do have to start over with a new instructor, which feels like a setback at times. And sometimes you're in a group class with 4 kids and in a 30 minute class where you're only swimming 25% of that time - you get maybe 7.5 minutes? So maybe it's hard to improve quickly under those circumstances. Maybe you just have to pony up the extra money for private lessons, I don't know. Finally he asked if we could take a break from swimming and I obliged. It is a very clean, well maintained facility and a fun atmosphere. Compared to another indoor swimming facility we tried in Corona, it felt a little pricey to me - and they just raised prices as well. But I could have been OK with that if I felt the instruction was paying off for my son and he was encouraged but neither seem to be the case as of now. We may give it a try again down the road just cuz it's convenient and the indoors thing is nice, but depends on my sons preference. He may want to try somewhere new where the team feels more invested in his success. read more

Two of my kids have been attending swim lessons here since august. They have both improved significantly in their swimming skills. My son has stopped clinging tightly to us in the pool and feels confident to practice his swimming. The coaches and staff are excellent. The facility is kept very clean. My son struggled for the first few lessons. He didn't like going under the water so he screamed and clung to the coach the entire first lesson. We talked it over and got him into a lesson where it would be just him so he could get more of a one on one experience. Now he loves swim. It only took a couple of classes for him to calm down. The coaches did such an excellent job of taking a gentle and cheerful approach. I could go on but this place is all around an excellent place to go for swim lessons. We just signed up our youngest for the mom and me classes and we can't wait. read more

This place is great! Our little mermaid has made a lot of progress in such a short time. The instructor to student ratio has been no more than 1:2 so the kiddos get valuable teacher time.
