First heard about this swimming ‍ academy during friends' kid birthday party and parents said they like going here. Several months later wife was looking into getting our son signed up for swimming lessons and found this one with awesome reviews. We went for in person walk around and decided to get on their wait list. Took several weeks before we got confirmation back and just started mid November. Been 3 or 4 sessions now and we love it very much. 30 min. Sessions are great! Just perfect. Our red class teacher is wonderful and very clam, patient, and positive. Facility is clean, organized and staff members are friendly and very professional. Deck managers are courteous and also paying attention to the class teachers and kids learning. Our son cried when first dumped (drizzled really) water on head and face, deck managers came over and talked to teachers on perhaps other methods introducing water over head face for our son. I was pleasantly surprised. They deck managers and swimming teachers are all working together and communicating with each other. 5 stars! Please keep up the good works, you guys are doing great. Highly recommended!

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They offer several classes like Parent and Me, private lessons, group lessons, water aerobics and more recently Parent and Me for special needs kids and even Gymnastics for the little ones. The facilities are always clean, the indoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature, the showers are kept up, changing room is clean, bathrooms are clean, etc. the facility is always decorated for whatever holiday is coming up and they even have activities for the kids. The lessons may not be the cheapest but are competitively priced compared to others in the area, and in the current economy and with the rising costs of operation I really can't complain much there.

Our daughter took the class with our son and had so much fun. (17 & 1)

I love the facility and the staff so much that we're still coming through winter. Our son has excelled so incredibly much and does such a great job trying to do the swim/ float activities at home as well. We know he's going to really take off this summer in our pool.

Ask the Community - Premier Swim Academy

Hello, so the parent and me classes are just allowing parents to swim with their child? Or is there an instructor who will give swim lessons for the child? Are the private classes the only classes that provide lessons on how to swim?

There are three types of lessons that I have seen. One on one lessons which are 20 minutes. Parent and me class includes an instructor and then group lessons with no parents. This class has a maximum of three student

Do you offer open to public on certain days?

Hi Celene! This is a great question. At this time, we do not offer public swim, but we do offer…

Hi was is the youngest age they accept?

Hi Melissa, sorry for the late response. We allow kids as young as 3 weeks old, however we ask that you check with your pediatrician before getting started to ensure they approve.

From the moment you walk through the front door, it's clear that this organization is exceptionally well run. The facility is spotless, organized, and welcoming, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. You immediately get the sense that your children are in capable hands. Our beginning instructors, Miss Gabby and Miss Abby, have been absolutely outstanding. We have two energetic little boys who can definitely keep adults on their toes, yet both instructors have shown incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. They greet our boys with genuine smiles, keep them engaged throughout the lesson, and create an environment where the kids feel both safe and excited to learn. What has impressed me most is their ability to balance a confident command presence with exceptional customer service. They know how to maintain structure and keep the lesson moving while still making each child feel encouraged and successful. That combination is rare, and it's a testament to the quality of instructors RSL hires and develops. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than watching people genuinely care about your children while helping them build an important life skill. After only two lessons, we've already seen confidence beginning to grow, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll at RSL Aquatics. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. We wholeheartedly recommend RSL Aquatics to any family looking for a clean, professional, well-organized swim program with instructors who truly care about their students. We are excited to continue watching our boys learn and grow here!

Things I liked: Your child will SWIM. I think my kids legs…read morefelt like rubber the first day because the philosophy here in both the intermediate and advanced is to just keep swimming! The pool is huge and the instructors send them back and forth over and over! Endurance seems to be the main philosophy. Some of the instructors are very engaging, overall everyone is pretty friendly! Things I noticed Safety is not a huge priority. There is no one on deck keeping an eye out for things the instructors may miss. The first day of class, and multiple after, my kids instructor walked into the building telling the other instructor of the other class to "keep an eye" to which he just kind of laughed and went back to the class he was teaching. Meanwhile she had 4 swimmers in the pool in other lanes behind and the instructor of the other class was faced away from them the entire time. That was my 7 year olds first or second day in the class. I had seen this sort of thing a lot, their instructor would chat with a students mom who was seated in the upper level, she'd face away from the students and just chat. By the 4th class I was ready to let the office know, but then the owner came outside, and held a conversation with the instructor the same way, her back away from the swimmers. My swimmer had been introduced to all of the strokes but I enrolled him to improve his form. He'd taken other classes where there was an emphasis on that. What I found is that there is very little instruction in the advanced class, the students are sent on back and forth several times but only upon request will they be critiqued or given better techniques. It is more like someone standing there somewhat keeping an eye on them and telling them to swim 400 or what not. At one point they had the owner, and at another, her husband and like I mentioned at another point, the other instructor in the other class, "take over" with instructions like "they're doing kickbaord" or "have them do bla" They are not very organized. First day of class the instructor was 5 minutes late. After that the advanced class had multiple people take over. The intermediate class had a lot more consistency, but one of the days Alexis (she did a great job) had to ask the owners husband where her secondary was. She came out a few minutes later , while the class was sorta on hold Things I'm not sure on: The young kids aren't taught to rest float. I've liked other places teach this, in the case that the child knows how to swim but doesn't have energy to get back to shore, or the edge of a pool for whatever reason. I once almost drowned as a kid in a pool right in the middle, I had slowly but surely run out of energy and not noticed til I couldn't keep my head above water. My brother pushed me to the edge. That being said, the rest float is a hard position to get into, so I kinda understand why they don't teach it‍ Overall, i think my kids are stronger swimmers and I'd possibly come back next summer since I trust my kids and I'm keeping an eye the entire time. Its $35 for 30 minutes (so 8 classes comes out to $280) Alexis was very encouraging in the intermediate class and each of the intermediate instructors really pushed the kids, and encouraged them, which I really appreciated:) oh and one more thing, I loved that at the intermediate level, there are two instructors to 4 students! That's a really nice ratio
