I'm not sure about the other reviewers, but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about…read moreCrestview! I took my Shepherd X (Beligian Malinois GSD cross) there to have stitches removed from her paw that were put in after Helene because she stepped on something that cut her pawpad deeply. Went to a 24 hour vet clinic in Asheville to have it sutured. Her previous vet's practice was destroyed during Helene. So, we checked out Crestview. We were in and out in about an hour with 2 dogs! 2 appts and both were seen within an hour. Puppy shots and a rabies vax for my Shepherd X. My Shepherd X's other vet was obviously afraid of her even as a puppy, because they asked me to sedate her before bringing her every time. Ridiculous! She is well mannered, and well behaved. Crestview did not ask me to sedate either of my Shepherds! The vet techs are awesome! The vet herself is a gem! I won't take my girls anywhere else, and when they get spayed I plan on bringing them here to do it! Also they don't push spaying on me. I said I will do it at 2 years old and they didn't push any expensive tests and worked with us! It is very hard to find vets that my dogs will trust, but since they like and trust them I know they're good people. Dogs know better than humans. I've never had a bad experience in scheduling, test results, or the shots having side effects. My shepherd/heeler goes in again at the end of the month and I know they'll be just as good then as they were last time. Yes, I have a lot to say and the fact they didn't push for expensive medicines and treatments makes them heads and paws above the rest of the vets I've seen in Buncombe County and McDowell County!

Took my dog Byngo here last week and I have nothing but praise for Crestview. This was my first…read morevisit as we just moved here. My husband and I are from out of town but have a vacation house in the mountains. We took our three…read moredogs there for a relaxing weekend getaway when one of our pups got injured (Happy Tail - continued to break open the end of her tail multiple times daily and spray blood everywhere). Our dog was in so much pain and wouldn't even let us handle her tail anymore. We call first thing on a Friday morning and they were able to fit us in within 20 minutes despite a full schedule that day! Even more so, Dr. Smith took her time to sit down and explain the diagnosis and treatment options for us. She was even able to sedate our dog so that she could have her tail wrapped without panicking and wrote prescriptions for us. Overall, this was one of the best veterinary experiences we have ever had with any of our three dogs and I cannot thank Dr. Smith and her team enough for fitting us in so quickly and taking the time to heal our baby!!

Seemingly friendly, but dishonest pricing, hidden charges. I was charged $30 for rabies vaccine…read morewhen i was quoted on 3 seperate occasions it was $19.00 for a rabies vaxx. I asked the receptionist at the front desk how much the cost of pain management was for an abandoned cat (that I took in) that I had neutered yesterday, she said without hesitation $12.00. I was charged $17.40. This is the main reason I loathe dealing with Veterinarians today. Back in the day, they were honest and actually cared about the pets and their owners, today the vets are more concerned with money and not honesty. What goes around comes around!
