To participate in their very nice baby-boutique you will need to attend their Parenthood classes, so every time you go, you get some vouchers and then you can shop at their location. To apply for their program you will need to make an appointment, go to their facility and pass thru some interviews. If you get approve you good to go. Great parking lot. Nice location. Good nursery room and babysitters so you can calmly pay attention and enjoy the supper that they cook and provide each time it has class. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need while pregnant. Plus if you are looking for a place to make donations, here is definitely your place to do it. :-)

This place was a mixed blessing…read more As a woman going through a lengthy divorce and who got pregnant out of wedlock, I was thrown out by family. I found this place and lived in their Maternity Home. The "house parents" (married couple that lived downstairs) and those who ran the Maternity Home could be kind if you behaved or adapted to their Christian views. As someone who has severe religious trauma I found that they could be cruel when I didn't agree with their views. I was spied on the house's "security cameras," and they lied about them. They told me they were there for only liability reasons and they would only be viewed if there was a reason to. I was a breastfeeding mother and the fact that a man was able to freely view the cameras watching me without my consent is extremely disturbing! I never got a proper apology when I figured out that they were abusing the use of the cameras and listening to all my phone conversations. Major invasion of privacy! So this place was not great all in all. They had very little psychological training or offer proper postpartum support. If you're in a Maternity Home, that means you're living in poverty. You're not holding down a job that pays a living wage, probably don't have enough schooling, and you're away from your family. Another problem I saw is it didn't really teach any life skills. It provided a clean space for my newborn daughter and me. I was going through a divorce, going to school, and focusing on pursuing a career in the medical field after being a preschool teacher for many years. I have never made a living wage for just myself! I wanted to focus on school and my newborn daughter so that when it was time for us to leave I would finally be able to support myself while also going through a divorce. It was an immediate problem because they pressured that I work, but the amount of time I'd spend away from my daughter would mean I couldn't breastfeed her and still not make a living wage! I was mistreated and ridiculed for choosing to focus just on my studies and my newborn daughter while also dealing with the stresses of my divorce. I was focusing on finishing a medical assistant certification so that I could get a higher paying job or secure a rental or feed and clothe myself and baby daughter or know what to do regarding my finances! You're allowed to live in the home for 18 months after baby is born, but I got out when my daughter was 8 months because I couldn't handle the mistreatment any longer! The "Women's Center" offers diapers and Christian counseling (which are all scheduled during the day so how are moms supposed to work?), attendance at which gets credit to use in their baby store. Living for free with superficial assistance for a year would have been nice without the religious strings that are attached. They've created a place for struggling pregnant women who decided to have their babies instead of having abortions, a Christian haven where pregnant women could live (while dealing with the stress of wondering how they will survive after they are kicked out) during their newborn's first year of life. The Maternity Home also houses for couples who would model "healthy marriages" (heterosexual only). Church and Bible study are mandatory. Forcing beliefs onto vulnerable pregnant women is a recipe for disaster. Once I left the Maternity Home they started allowing the public to do "tours" to gain more profit. The mothers can't leave washed baby bottles in the kitchen because the place has to be "show ready" at any given time. The Ministry truly views pregnant women and babies as production devices! They truly don't care about baby and mother. A baby those very same people don't even want to be involved with in any way. It's like a puppy mill - more concerned with profit, who cares what happens to the "product?" This is not a mindset that values life or babies. The Maternity Home could be wonderful and helpful, but needs to be monitored as they should be judgement free and not force beliefs that are not freely shared by women. It's very unethical.

Brought a friend to her appointment today and I have two children ,2 year old boys, so I had to…read morebring them in with us, we all sat in the waiting room being quit and respectful. I had gone here personally in the past with my pregnancy where they told me "you're probably just too early to see the baby, come back in a couple weeks" then they sent me home with MISCARRIAGE PAPERS! I went to my OB/GYN and i was intact pregnant and was not having a miscarriage, I chalked it up to maybe it was just a mistake and moved on from that. But with today I want to make it known both of them were doing very well for 2 year olds, one of them has autism and along with that he has vocal tics so he did yell one time and they lady came running out telling me to get my children and go outside because there are women in here who have/ having abortions and it's not very sensitive for me to have my children here for them to see. It says right at the top of there page "they DO NOT offer abortions or give abortion referrals"! On top of all of that My friend who was the one with the appointment told them she wasn't very religious and preferred to not talk about God (which should've been fine because not everyone believes in the same things as the person next to them) but the lady doing her appointment just continued to asking/ talking to her about God making her very uncomfortable. When they were wanting to schedule her next appointment we had told them previously I wouldn't be able to take her weekly due to the fact that I am a mom with 3 children of my own and we asked about the video appointments they talked about on phone because "they understand not everyone can make it weekly," but when asked about it they said "No, we really need you to come in weekly".
