I have been so pleased and blessed to witness my son coming out of his shell and thriving at Foothills High School. The teachers care and encourage him and the other students so well, and I cannot think of a better place for my son to be. Since starting Foothills Christian High School I have seen such an amazing change in him. He loves his classes, especially History and Math, and he loves the teachers. He joined Cross Country and Lacrosse and he's never had so many coaches pour so much time and energy into him. They've challenged him athletically but also spiritually and push him to be his best. I've seen him grow in so many areas and I know it's from being at this particular high school. They challenge the students to be dependable , God fearing, and upstanding young men and women. Foothills Christian High School has nice caring teachers who care about giving back to the community. Their art program is wonderful and they have a ceramics class which is hard to find at a high school. They also have a drama club which accepts lower grades as well, which I think is nice :) The ceramics teacher also offers baby hand and footprint plaques she can help you make (so cute!) as well as group classes outside of school :) read more

Foothills Christian High School is a small, Christian school that cares deeply about its students. They are located in a quiet neighborhood around Fletcher Hills. They provide a good educational route for students wishing to go to college after graduation, through offering some AP and honors classes. They also provide a good athletic program for those that wish to play various sports, without going overboard. They encourage Biblically based morals and students get a class each semester in Christian / Biblical studies. They have in person classes three days a week and home study the other two. The price point for tuition is very reasonable for a private high school. We have sent all three of our kids to Foothills Christian High School and are glad that we did! read more

Foothills Christian High School is an accredited school with credentialed teachers. We have found the teachers to be carring and able to spend time helping students because the class sizes are relatively small. The school focuses on integrity and promoting a Christ-centered environment. Our daughter has made many great new friendships there over the last year and a half. We like that the school offers several competitive sports including football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, track, and cross country. Regular classes are Tuesday through Thursday. (Optional Monday and Friday school is offered.) The independent study days on Monday and Friday has helped our daughter learn excellent time management skills which will prepare her for the more independent learning environment of college. read more

A small christian school nestled in the fletcher hills area. The school isn't too impressive to look at but is staffed with incredible, caring teachers and offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities from developed sports programs to drama to community service. It offers a strong, theologically sound, christian education in an academic and social environment. I've visited here many times and the students/faculty seem more like a family than anything else. Our son has attended Foothills Christian High School for two years, and, God willing, will be attending as a Junior in September. Foothills has been an answer to our prayers. Our son has made great friends. He is making wonderful progress academically - the curriculum has been challenging and enlightening. (With the solid encouragement and support of the school staff and his teachers, he decided to take his first AP class this year. He worked hard and achieved his goal of an A grade!) He has also enjoyed the sports programs, participating in basketball, football, and baseball. His coaches are excellent role models, motivating our son to work hard and be his best as an athlete and as a man of God. The principal works tirelessly to lead our FCHS family with wisdom and grace. He has earned my son's respect and trust - and that is about as good as it gets. I highly recommend FCHS to any and all families looking for a team to help their beloved teenagers learn and grow and become closer to God. read more

I hated this high school experience. So many people I knew there told me straight up that they hated the school entirely; the teachers didn't know how to teach because they didn't even have credentials, the students would be in their own groups of friends since they all grew up together and they did not even bother to try to get to know new kids that joined the school and tried to participate within teams and school events. They had a fixed mindset and not a growth mindset about several topics which caused many students I knew to feel like an outcast because they could not fit into Foothill's profile of a "perfect Christian churchgoing student." Another complaint about the teachers is that whenever help was needed only maybe one out of all those teachers ever decided to give you their time and reach back out to you; it always felt unwelcoming when a student were to come in during lunch and try to get help because most teachers were "too busy." Perfect grades were expected and not encouraged which led students to crumble under pressure. Overall I felt this school put emphasis on nothing but Scripture, an ill view on plural societies, and not enough education. Foothills lacked professionalism and leadership ethics. read more

I go to this school and absolutely love it!! The staff genuinely cares and helps students. I love the small school because its like everyone really is my family. I do wish they gave us some more freedom as seniors (leaving campus for lunch, talking by our cars, etc.) but overall i love it. they are very real and authentic. love my teachers! read more
