This was a great place to get in a water workout in a warm water pool, which is our favorite…read more We came here to use the pool. They have a lap pool and they also have a warmer pool that includes a lazy river and a couple of lap lanes, along with the children's play area. We were there on a weekday afternoon well swim lessons were going on, but had plenty of space to use one lap lane and the lazy river. They have a set of steps to enter by the lazy river and they have a chairlift that enters into one of the lanes. There's also a hot tub that has steps with a rail to get in. In the family locker room there are two accessible changing rooms with a bathroom and shower, including a shower bench and adjustable showerhead. They have an automatic door opener, which is phenomenal, however, the lock is up pretty high, which makes it less accessible for wheelchair users, and short people. there are two other changing rooms in the family locker space that don't have the automatic button, adjustable showerhead, or shower bench, or grab bars on the toilet, but are still fairly large and have space for a wheelchair user There was plenty of accessible parking and automatic doors to get into the building. The space exiting was pretty tight due to how they have the chairs arranged, somebody with a larger wheelchair may have to exit through the entry lane. We also used the steam room, there was no automatic door, but the door wasn't terribly heavy. We've been to lots of rec centers in the Denver Metro area, and this is definitely one of the most accessible

She made us feel safe and comfortable from the very beginning, and gave clear instructions so we always knew what to do. She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially families and first-time rafters. Definitely opt for the photo package too - the pictures we received were stunning and memorable. Huge thanks to Kayla and the Liquid Descent team!

The best live music venue I've ever attended. It's gorgeous. Get there when the doors open though…read morebecause it takes forever to get through the long lines. If you have a hard time walking, I would recommend not coming here because it takes a lot of walking to get from parking to Red Rocks. Lots of stairs. I was impressed with the diverse food options for a concert venue: empanadas, BBQ, Greek, burgers, pizza, hot dogs....Based on a recommendation, I took a shuttle to and from Red Rocks because I heard that trying to get an Uber after the show is a nightmare. The staff was great. It's fun to come here during the day too and hike the trails at the park. It's beautiful. They close the amphitheatre on days when there is a concert so beware.

Absolutely gorgeous place to see live music. I would absolutely recommend Red Rocks to anyone!…read more We took a party bus to and from the venue, which is absolutely the way to go if coming in from Denver. Parking can be tough here, and getting out after a show is very challenging by car or bus. Food options are limited. Mostly concession-style food aside from the restaurant that's on site. Unfortunately, I did not get to check that out during my visit. Sound quality is great here. The natural amphitheatre helps create a great sound stage. The views are incredible. The layout is pretty easy to figure out once you're inside. This place is iconic, and whether you've lived in Denver all your life or are just visiting Denver, Red Rocks is worth adding to your itinerary. Whether you're here to see a show or just checking out the amphitheatre during the day, Red Rocks should be on absolutely everyone's bucket list.

We rented the Active Adult Center's Prospect Hall for a corporate event and we were so impressed!…read more First of all, Megan was regularly helpful about communicating with us before the event, which really helped with planning. Michelle made sure that she was available to speak to our staff about Wheat ridge's recreational services, and to promote physical wellness resources. The woman who was there in the morning who helped us set up (whose name very unfortunately escapes me) jumped right in and was so proactive you would have thought she was one of our staff members. Eric stayed and helped us clean far and above the duties of his job, and he worked even harder than our own clean up crew. You cannot find a more helpful crew. The space was affordable priced and well-maintained, and they will give you access to any resources they have that can help make your event great. They have an attached kitchen, service entrance, A/V equipment, and a stage that works great for a corporate setting. They give you access to 18 large, oval tables and four long, rectangular tables. There are enough chairs to seat the room's capacity. We had about 110 staff members and had the room equips with vendors and vendor tables. For our needs, he venue was a bit too small. If we did not have vendors it could have seated 110 pretty comfortably, though. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the staff, space, and accommodations of having rented with the Active Adult Center. Definitely a great choice for a corporate event, anniversary party, or meeting space!
