Appointments are easy to get and the wait times in the office are reasonable. All of the staff are customer/patient oriented. This includes the front desk, the assistants, and doctors. The waiting room is open with ample seating. The examination rooms are appropriately sized, neat, and clean. They also have facilities for x-rays and orthotic measurements. I went to Dr Milner and he immediately understood the urgency of getting the broken hardware removed and correcting the Hallux Valgus. He scheduled an early date for surgery. After surgery, since I have a drop foot condition, Dr Milner regularly inspected my foot for a period of 10 weeks till he was satisfied that the wound has healed properly. What's wrong with this picture? 9/13 Update: received call from Bonnie, office manager at the foot center yesterday to talk about my BBB complaint. I Explained to her that the average price across the board for removal of ingrown toenail in NC is $150 not $950. She said she would speak with Cone Health and see if they could "work with me" and have them call me. 45 minutes later I received a phone call from Amy at Cone Health.. I had to explain once again the outrageous bill I received. Was told they would get back in contact with Triad foot center and they would get back to me. As soon as I hung up the phone, I looked down at the number and it was the same number from the call I received from Triad Foot and Ankle. ??? Hmm.

Because of Covid precautions he couldn't do much with her toenails. My only complaint is about seating. I am a large person with wider hips and there were no chairs anywhere that would fit me. All were narrowing with arms on them. There were no spare armless stools or armless chairs for someone with wide girth like myself. So this was very uncomfortable for me accompanying my elderly mother. My 94 yr old mother had to struggle to get up into the exam chair...almost too hard for her. The struggle left her very fatigued. Suggestion: bring in a few extra-wide chairs for heavier people; and, step stools for short people trying to get in and out of exam chairs.

There was no one in the waiting area when I walked in nor while I was in the waiting area. I think two patients walked out from the back while I was there. Once I got in the exam room I answered questions and probably waited 20+ minutes for the Dr to come in. He asked the same questions the first person did. I don't understand why patients have to answer the same questions twice. It's a waste of a patient's time. I'd already sat there for quite a while to be called back. He never got close to my feet. He acted like I had a disease. That was offensive to me. He was constantly rushing my appointment. I left there wasting my money and getting no help for my problem, just pushing it off on other type Dr's. It's not comforting at all when all a Dr does is tell you they can't help you and want to try meds you've tried before and caused you problems.

I noticed that they had a…read morenegative review, but I called on a Friday morning around 10:30 hoping to get an appointment for my 12 year old daughter knowing that they closed at noon. We got there around 11am, the front office staff was very pleasant, once we completed the necessary paperwork, we were shown to the exam room where we waited for the Dr. to come in. Dr. Blackwell was very nice, he examined my daughters foot, he explained the procedure that she would need. He talked her through the entire procedure (toenail removal), engaged her in small talk and made us both feel comfortable. He answered all of our questions and we never felt rushed even though it was close to time for them close the office. I would recommend Instride Wilson Podiatry to anyone.
