I couldn't even shop here after this woman who owns the shop was so rude that I feel like I was attacked verbally. I took a picture of something to send to a client (I am a personal shopper and stylist) and she asked me not to take photos, so I stopped and apologized, explaining the situation. This person is trying to replace what was lost when their home burned down in the recent fires. She argued with me about comparison shopping online, insisting she needed to enforce rules in her shop. Again, I told her it was fine that I understood and wouldn't take anymore. I looked around more, a bit flustered (and quite frankly disappointed at the taste level / lack there of) and she continued to harass me in an agitated manner again and again to the point where I had to just leave. She actually yelled at me on my way out. Seriously? You're a grown woman and business owner. Well, sort of. An adult aged business downer is more like it. Lady, please have some sensitivity to humans and empathy instead of attacking. Your shop is not Paris. It is sub par at best. Calm down. Nobody cares about pictures from your store. I stopped right after you asked with zero resistance and you kept going with your agitation and persistence. You drove me out. There's nothing worth knocking off or to comparison shop and I don't care about your retail markups. I happily pay what stores charge because I know how retail works, but also, I only shop with retailers who aren't bulling me. I just spent 800 at Else down the street on things I only wear on special occasions and $3000 for a client. Plus, lingerie is a delicate matter. People want to feel safe shopping with someone who is kind when they are so exposed. Also, since I am dealing with clients who lost their home in the fires who do not have a permanent address, they literally can't receive shipments from online right now, so that's why they're using my services to shop in person and support the local community. To anyone reading this, just go to Else Lingerie down the street (kind women with nice Turkish ethically made products and Norse brands and Italian items) or instead to Neiman Marcus (all the same brands this store sells minus the rude aggravating verbal emotional assaults from a woman dressed in what looks like Walmart apparel.) However if your style is tacky and your behavior backstabber gossipy trashy, this place is perfect for you so have fun. read more

Life changing! There's a reason this store has been around for 40+ year's. I read reviews before going and the owner was kind, personable, helpful and did not rush me and push me. I loved the experience and will recommend this store to everyone I know. I walked in, and immediately she gave me a bra to try on and it fit perfectly. 4 for 4- every single item she picked out fit me. I thought I was a 34C but actually I'm a 32F and would never have known without her expertise. This was a life changing shopping day for me and they should have more positive reviews on Yelp. From the other reviews I can tell the owner either likes you or hates you. I came in to buy a tank top/undershirt and two blonde women were at the register paying. The owner said she would be with me in a minute. The first woman was chatting with her for quite a while, then when she finally finished, it turned out the other woman was making a purchase as well. I said I was popping into the shop next door, and the owner seemed irritated and said, angrily, "I TOLD you I'd be with you in a minute." I said I'd be right back. When I got back I asked her if she had a size large of the tank top. I started chatting about losing everything in the fire. She asked what size as I was finishing my sentence - and when I didn't stop in the middle of my phrase, thinking we were chatting as no one was waiting, she cut me off loudly and said, "I SAID what size!" I was so shocked I just said large and waited, but I should have just walked out. I regret not walking out. She is horrible. I haven't purchased anytime since 2017 as I've been shopping in Paris and London when I travel. The owner has fit me for years and while her customer service and tone isn't warm and welcoming, she's an amazing bra fitter and expert on product. I went in today to get new bras and she said she changed her inventory and basically said what I used to buy isn't sold there anymore. She insulted the items I bought over the years and now said bras are 3x the price I paid before for higher end bras . Ok, that's fine but didn't want to really show me any. I agree with everyone who gave negative reviews. They carry high end lingeries and the sales girls are helpful but the owner is so aggressive and rude and has the worst attitude as a business owner. Also they mark up the prices so much higher than other shops that carry the same stuff. Just go get some ideas as they at least recommend the right sizes and design for your body types. Here's the thing- Lisa is THE best bra lady I've ever met. But know some things before you go to optimize your experience: 1. Check EVERYTHING before you buy. It's final sale, no exchanges and no returns. Make sure you are walking out with exactly what you needed before you walk out the door. 2. The bras are expensive. $60 minimum to a few hundred dollars. They will be the best fitting bras you've ever had but you will pay. 3. She will be sad about your existing bra but it's nothing personal. She's that passionate about bras and making sure women look the best, and she won't sugarcoat things. I grew up in Santa Monica and all of my favorite bras are from her. They do a great after-Christmas sale. Just be firm and know what you want BEFORE YOU GO IN and you will have a great experience. She has a strong personality which works for some and not others. My whole life I had been wearing awkward, not well fitting bras, always trusting that those girls at Victoria's Secret knew what they were talking about, well turns out they didn't. While all the reviews I have read here have been on bras, the store's name is Footsie! Which means one thing SOCKS! Ever since I was a kid, I had a tendency to have "cold feet." Which meant on winter mornings, my feet would feel chilled. Nowadays on my morning commutes, I crank my car's heater on high (directed toward my feet of course) full blast heat. Partway to work, my feet become toasty warm. The approach to warm feet does not stop there. Found out here they carry smaller sized socks. The usual woman's sock size of 9-11 does not fit my foot as well as the smaller sized European brand "Falke" carried here. With their size small 5 1/2-7, the socks fit like a dream. The styles carried are just what I want. Thin, warm, cashmere or wool knee highs for the winter. Cute no slip, treads on the bottom type socks here too. There's only 1 drawback, the $35 price tag. I went into footsies after having had a bilateral mastectomy needing to purchase all new bras. I told the saleswoman my situation and was treated as if I had leprosy. I left in disbelief and went to Victoria's Secret on Third Street promenade. I spent over $2,500. on beautiful new bras. Do they carry great bras? Yes. Do generally they help you to find the correct size (which most of us are not wearing, thanks to Vickie's? Yes. Do they give you a ton of attitude while they do it. Yes. You will get what you need, for a price. Rent on Montana does not come cheap. When I realized that my old standby Vickie's bras were not doing me (or my "girls") any favors, I took a recommendation from a friend and turned to Footsie. The service was no-nonsense and I ended up purchasing a couple of great bras that fit like a dream. Then, I went back with the ultimate bra challenge - the strapless. I ended up special ordering two $75 strapless bras in the size that they recommended. I picked them up when they came in a few weeks later and took them home. I tried one on and it was way too tight in the band, so I took both bras back (with the tags still attached, obviously). I was rudely informed by the owner that they do not accept returns of special-ordered merchandise. I didn't think that was right, considering that they sized me, and also that they had never advised me of that policy. I argued my point, but long story short, I was stuck with $150 worth of bras that didn't fit. Summary: for the price and the amount of snobbery that comes with, I'll pass. read more

"DD, otherwise known as F" Ah yes, the joys of your first bra fitting. First comes the measuring and the eyeballing, which isn't as embarassing as you would think (your current bra stays on). Then you get to try on several bras brought to you by the young and perky bra expert. As you slip the first one over your shoulders and attempt to close the latch in back, you realize it's the tightest bra you've ever worn. But once the ladies are adjusted you realize that your boobs look fabulous. Wow, what a difference. When the bra expert is obtaining more styles, you sneak a peak at the price tag. $98! Holy shit! 32DD!! Oh Shit! The bra expert confirms that is your correct cup size and kindly says "DD, otherwise known as F". You thank her for making the clarification and then purchase 2 bras because, well, your boobs are worth it. P.S. cheapest bra I tried on was $74 and most expensive $114. They also have a selection of spanx, nighties and slips. Nothing terribly sexy, just basic and high quality lingerie. Or, as my mother calls them: foundations. read more

Wow. I walked in to buy "something blue" for a close friend getting married and walked out with 2 amazing bras instead. (We went elsewhere for the something blue). The woman working here exuded expertise and friendly salesewomanship. She was eager to measure both my friend and I, but urged us that we were under no obligation to buy anything. She was amazing. I tried on about 10 different bras (my girls need a little something extra) and most the bras fit and supported me in the most loverly way. I settled on a bra that originally cost $144, but was marked 70% off, which ALMOST made it reasonable, as well as one other full priced, beautiful piece of lingerie.
