I never write reviews but my experience yesterday was so appalling I have to. I was there getting fitted for bras by a wonderful woman who works there. So knowledgeable and great. Then the owner came out of the back and decided the 2 woman who just walked in were much more important and asked me to pause so they could help them first. "Pause" I was buying 4 bras that were over 150$ each. She proceeded to be so incredibly rude. The only reason I bought the bras was bc of the woman helping me and they are actually amazing bras. But I will never go back and I will find the brands elsewhere and tell all of my friends that live in Santa Monica not to go here. I'm a local mom with young kids that lives down the street. Horrible place to shop. Stay away by all means. The owner came into the dressing room unannounced, did not know anything about a good fit, tried to sell a bra a size too small and very uncomfortable. When I complained, she said that it was all she had and asked me if I was ready to purchase it. She did not even want to spend the time helping me find a different bra. After going through one of the worst experiences of my life, I decided to treat myself very nicely by buying a new wardrobe of lingerie. I wanted the best bras possible, especially after nursing 3 babies. I was afraid to go to Footsie after reading some negative reviews, but I thought I could just walk out if something bad happened. I am happy to say shopping for lingerie at Footsie exceeded my expectations. I feel very grateful for Lisa and Adriana's professionalism and gorgeous, high quality lingerie. SHOCKED BY THE OWNER'S BEHAVIOR I can honestly say this is my first ever negative post on Yelp but this one had me so shocked that I couldn't just let it go. I have been a resident of Santa Monica / Brentwood for 20+ years and a strong supporter of Montana Ave and this is not what we ever hope to come across in our amazing community! I went into Footsie on a weekend and asked if they could order a pair of panties for me. I was told that they would check with the vendor to see if still available and let me know by Monday. I was also told that if it was available to order, they would need a credit card from me before placing the order. I never heard from them on Monday so I gave them a call on Thursday. The sales girl was not aware of my request so needed to check on it. She was very nice and called me back that evening shortly before close and told me they would be able to order it and could she get a credit card? I told her I was walking the dog and would call her in the morning to give her the card. She did call me the very next morning and I asked if I could just get the name of the panty so that I could look it up online and make sure it was the correct one (being a final sale) and that I would call her right back. Once online, I realized I could get this from a handful of other stores (Neiman's to name one) at a much lesser price (around $89 vs $135) so being that I hadn't given my card yet, I called back and thanked her for her effort but said I would be going with another option. 5 minutes later, my cell phone rang, and it was the OWNER of Footsie, LISA (and this is the part that floored me): she was irate and tore into me saying how she went out of her way to order these for me, the vendor was doing her a favor and how dare I. I truly believed that they had not been ordered being that they were very clear they needed payment first but even if there was a misunderstanding, how does a business owner speak to a customer like this? It was all about her! I now see from all the negative posts on Yelp that customer service is not Lisa's thing so I am writing to pass on to any potential customers her words to me and those were "do not ever step foot in my store again--go to Neiman's". I had a great experience with Lisa! She helped both my daughter and me get fitted properly in the correct size bras. She spent as much time with us as we needed. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. The bras are expensive, but well worth the money. She sells high-end, quality bras. This place changed my life :) I always knew I my bra size was all wrong, but no one seemed to carry what was right. Before my wedding 2 years ago, I decided to try this place, as they were known for carrying odd sizes, and do free fittings. I am small around with a larger cup size (naturally-which makes it more difficult I think). They had my size! They had my size! Clothes now fit, and I have so much more self confidence. Small bra/lingerie boutique. Very helpful staff who are knowledgable about what products fit what kind of figure. They don't have a huge selection, but they have great quality bras. Not the type of store you browse around in, so definitely ask for a fitting for suggestions of which products would work for you. Street parking. HORRIFIED!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS RACIAL PROFILING, IF I WASN'T DRESSED WELL ENOUGH OR THAT I THE SHOP KEEPER LISA JUST DIDN'T LIKE ME. I was looking for a simple set of bra & panty and they were having a sale so I went in. I know they have some of the BEST brands at ridiculous prices but I was feeling like a splurge. I like to just look around first then pick a few things to try. At one point I pulled my phone out of my tiny chloe cross body, which if you know what that looks like you can only fit your phone (barely), keys and a litstick. Once I put the phone back Lisa was on top of me. I could feel her energy and could tell that she was trying to see if I "Took" Anything. I purposely opened my bag to take my phone out once again so she could see just how small it was and nothing was taken. I proceeded to shop and tried to not assume she was following me around. She took everything out of my hands and put it in the fitting room. Normal. But when I asked for the 3 sets I picked she said she'd give them to me one at a time. OK I thought...I get it it's expensive shit. Then she came into the fitting room without invitation...not cool! I proceeded to look around then decided I wouldn't spend my money there and here is the KICKER...she ran out after me only to find me two shops down at my other AMAZING FRIEND Shanel's shop. Saw me there turned and left. Not two seconds later did the phone ring and it was LIsa asking about me and telling Shanel to be careful. At this point I am shaking and crying thinking how could this be happening. Was it what I was wearing, was it the color of my skin was my money not welcomed there? It's been years since anything like this has happened to me, in this day and age it's even more upsetting and horrifying that this is what the country is coming to. read more

Had to provide one star for Footsie as Yelp doesn't give you a (-) STAR option, but I'm giving Footsie a negative infinity review. The woman I met today whom I found out is the owner can only be described perfectly in one word: BULLY. She's foul and ugly in her mannerism and I not only had to experience a pompous, aggressive, quite scary attitude, I walked in and within seconds her dog attacked and fully bit my dog numerous times. I was BEYOND understanding and here I am trying to tell her it's all right and console her and she did NOT once apologize or see if my dog is ok. She even had the nerve when I got down on my knees to check my dog, Lola's coat and check her body and make sure she has no bite marks and I was giving her kisses as Lola was startled, instead of the owner showing concern and compassion and checking to see if Lola and I are all right instead she kept repeating over and over again, "oh she's fine. she's fine. my dog didn't bit her?!!!" When consoling her it's ok accidents happen, I'm sure you have a nice dog, she actually said, "uh no, my dog is kinda a bitch." Oh my god, this woman is certifiable. I'm sitting there in complete dismay thinking lady, i'm calming you down and you have the audacity to tell me how I can nurture and calm my dog down??? I've lived in Santa Monica on Montana Ave for a long time and upon inquiring with other store owners, I was told that she's physically attacked store owners and is known as "Crazy Lisa". She tried to help me with my bra choices and was beyond overbearing and she needs a real good to honest schooling on proper etiquette, manners and beyond that someone needs to teach her how to be a human being. At one point I asked upon trying one of the bras, if she has any sample t-shirts and she said no as you can tell we don't sell clothes, we sell bras and the only clothing we do have is from Wolford and I'm not letting anyone try on $500 tops to test out their bras???? I'm thinking is this woman for real?? I was literally frozen in the dressing room still dealing w/ what happened to my dog and thinking why the hell am even here after this woman's nasty behavior. She hasn't even asked you or your dog if we need water. I've recently 8 months agao, when I was 20 lbs lighter, bought $200 Lise Charmel bras and spent $1000 at Under G's in Beverly Hills and they ALWAYS provide sample t-shirts for their clientele. And Footsie's bras are not even close to the same luxury and price range as Under G's. As a fashion publicist, I've had a yelp account for many years and there have been many businesses that have disappointed, but never to the point where I felt the need to post my opinion. This is the 1ST time I felt it absolutely necessary for everyone to know, to stay away from this store. She's a nightmare. It's really unfortunate that the women who work here are so helpful as compared to the owner. I bought some awesome bras there and the woman who fitted me took the time to compare between different ones so that I could ensure they were the best for me. She accidentally put a bad one into my "to buy" pile without my realizing. It was on the cheaper side ($50) and I didn't realize it because I was already spending hundreds of dollars there on the others. I got home and recognized my error and called the store. The owner initially offered to look at the tapes and see - I told her I would tell her what I was wearing and what time I was there - and she said she didn't need that information. She didn't need it because it was clear she had zero intention of looking at them. She elaborated on their zero tolerance exchange policy and said "How can I do it for you if I won't do it for others?" to which I replied- "because your saleswoman put a bra in my pile and I didn't realize"...she responded with, "well that's your problem honey". It's a shame because they have some great merchandise- but I can guarantee you I will never spend another dime here and I will rescind my referral to others. read more

Above the sign of Footsie owner Lisa Frank has a quote from Oprah Winfrey - but if you are looking for an enlightened intimates shopping experience then you are most definitely in the wrong place ! I visited Frank's adjacent store Pink Lili (1029 Montana Ave) on Dec 24 and to buy an $80 bra and panty set for my girlfriend. The sales girl Lisette did not inform me that there was a seven day return policy on the items nor was there any sign in the store or notification on the receipt. When my girlfriend tried the bra on the following day, it did not fit well, so, we returned to the store on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Lisette then told us about the seven day policy and we went to speak with the owner Lisa Frank at nearby Footsie to explain the situation. I told her I was simply looking for an exchange or credit note but she was confrontational and refused to give me anything because of their seven day exchange rule. When I told her we were not informed of this she was unrepentant. I left the box containing the set in the store and told her I would take legal advice. My lawyer told me to try and reason with her once more and after going back several times I eventually found her in person at Footsie on Feb 28, 2010. Again, she was confrontational when I tried to explain my case in a calm and reasoned fashion she immediately called the police stating that I was refusing to leave her store and threatening her. I then left the store until the police arrived and told them what had happened. There was one other male witness inside and my girlfriend waited outside with me also. Miss Frank proceeded to lie to the Santa Monica police saying I was abusive and had gone behind her counter towards the cash register - having listened to both sides the police decided not to file any charges and that this was a civil not criminal matter. Lisa Frank is a disingenuous individual who couldn't care less about her customers to the point of being obtuse. I intend to report her to the Better Business Bureau and am also consulting my lawyer about the possibility of taking her to small claims court also. I would be interested to hear if anyone else found her to be so difficult to deal with. read more

I do not typically write reviews but felt I had to in this case. Primary reason being that all of the negative reviews are hidden. Let's see if this one stays visible. And I would like to give zero stars. Here's the back story: last week (?), out in Santa Monica, done with my stuff but not enough time to go home. Run into Footsie, a bra store on Montana, to get fitted and possibly a new bra. Younger woman was helping me then the owner, Lisa, jumps in and starts giving me bras. She is rude and abrupt (snapping at me not to help her put my own breasts in the bra, saying things like "Duh! Ya think?!?" when I say that the one she chose was good, etc.) Terrible customer service, but whatever. Probably shouldn't have been out spending money on myself but this was a nice bra -- too bad it was over $150. But, I think to myself, good bras are expensive so maybe that's ok, but if I'm going to spend that much I want black. I ask for black and she goes to look for it. Lisa is yelling at the younger girl, acting angry, and almost yelling at me to tell me that it says they have seven but she can't fucking find them and we'll just have to call you. Fine. I said, "It's is totally not urgent so no worries at all." I go to the front to give my number to the younger girl. Lisa is yelling at her to take my number. The girl asks if I want to pay for it. Lisa SCREAMS at her! "NO!! Just get her number!!" OMG. So I give her my name and number and go pick up the kids. TODAY: Sitting here, working on my computer, getting stuff done - phone rings. It's the younger girl from Footsie. They have in the bra I was interested in. "Great! Thanks!" I say. "Do you want me to put it on hold for you?" "No, that's ok. I'm not sure when I can come in at this point but thank you so much!" Maybe 10 minutes later, the same number shows up on my phone. It was Lisa. "Hi, do you remember when you were here last week and said you were DESPERATE for a bra???? Well, I just want you to know that I spent $48 of my own money to have this bra SHIPPED here for YOU because you said you were so DESPERATE and that's why I don't do favors for people because they just don't appreciate it!!" I said, "Whoa! Lisa! First of all, I never said I was desp---" "No, you said you were desperate and just so you know, this company is Canadian and they were closing for the year and I spent this money for you so HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! That's why I don't do favors for people and you told the girls you didn't know if you were going to come in so HAPPY HOLIDAYS!" She was literally screaming over me as I was trying to explain myself and BTW, I am totally the person that will buy out of guilt or expectation. I will buy at your Stella & Dot party or whatever even if I don't want or need because I feel stupidly and unwarrantedly bad. I was going to buy that overpriced bra that I didn't even love after having a terrible shopping experience. I may have even gone there tomorrow! I was just trying to do them a FAVOR by not holding it for me when it could be out for someone to buy. I will NEVER, EVER step foot into FOOTSIE on Montana again. This woman interrupted me in the middle of my day to chew me out for not putting something on hold that I DID NOT ORDER. She doesn't realize it is the holiday season and people are busy and maybe aren't neighbors who can just swing by Montana Avenue easily?! She doesn't realize that a woman with kids (BOY KIDS) might not be able to pop in to the bra store the week before Christmas?? She couldn't have CALLED me first to say that it is going to cost her extra to have the bra shipped? Maybe she could have asked if I needed it soon or even wanted it? Because I was clear. I was not desperate. I didn't NEED to spend $175 on a regular old black bra. I did not say RUSH ORDER! I didn't even say order it! They said there were seven in the store and she couldn't find them! I will never go back to this store. A sales person has never treated me so rude. After picking out a bra and pantie set for a friend I was instructed that "it was going to be awhile and that I needed to wait." I decided to hang out and keep looking around the store because the items were on sale. When I was rung up by the woman my credit card was swiped and the 1st receipt was handed to me. The machine then stopped working and I was asked to go get cash or give her my card again. I wanted to be sure I wasn't charged twice so I asked for the first receipt. The sales woman then started yelling and speaking to me like I was an idiot. I said I no longer needed the two items and she said "great, it's easier for me this way." Needing a sexy bridal shower gift for our bestie, a friend and I wandered into Footsie after the gym and lunching at Kreation. Yummy Mediterranean plate!! We checked the Yelp reviews before going into Footsie which were terribly critical of the owner's attitude but figured what were the chances she'd be there and it was so close. Brother! She was there and within 5 minutes of our visit was condescendingly and meanly speaking to one of her young employees. Awful. We told the sweet, young lady that we were just browsing for a gift but later the owner suggested that we both needed a bra fitting by looking us up and down. We both had sports bras on, so guess "our girls" weren't looking perky enough to her standards and we needed a $125 bra. We walked out. So if you think she's rude to customers, can you imagine how she treats her employees?! The poor girl looked like a student who probably depended on whatever meager wage she makes there. I won't support that! We walked up the street to Only Hearts and found a lovely gift for our friend and a darling staffer couldn't have been more professional, helpful without being pushy and adorable. And I wasn't shopping for me and picked up two beautiful bras for under $50 each. The shopping experience for me is just maybe more important than what you're selling, so I will spend my hard earned money in a kind, positive, respectful environment. read more

I have lived near this store for the past 7 years and never ventured in. I was perfectly happy with my Victoria Secret bras and didn't really care about lingerie in general. That was until my breasts became sad little lopsided things after breastfeeding THREE children. I walked by the store on my way to the ATM and decided to step in. I wondered what it would be like to actually be fitted by a true professional and what a proper bra should feel like (Remember that Oprah episode about bras?!). I started to browse around the store and immediately met Lisa, the store owner. She asks me what I'm there for and I start telling her a bit about my boob situation. Then she also says it's my posture that's the issue (which is true!) - I immediately fell in love with her. Lisa is straightforward with a dry sense of humor - I can see why some people can be offended by her but I found her forthright and refreshing. She fitted me (knew my size before she even started measuring me) and pulled out three bras for me to try. They fit like a DREAM. She had me try on a tank top on top of the bra and for the first time my boobs looked good (and EVEN, haha). She was disgusted by my ratty Victoria Secret bra and proceeded to throw it away. Now some would be pissed by that, but I loved it! She has a passion for bras and she couldn't stand the thought of me wearing something so ill fitting! Yes, this is a pricey store. Welcome to the westside of LA. Was it worth it to spend 100 dollars on each bra? I think Lisa was kind enough not to pull the bras that are probably even more amazing and 300-500 dollars a pop. Because my breasts are uneven, she suggested that I have a fabric placed inside one cup which could hold an insert. She was kind enough to take care of it for me by going to Murat's tailor next door and dropping off the two bras I bought (I'm wearing the third one out, remember?). Told me she'd have Murat charge me less (20 dollars a piece, not the typical 40 dollars) Anyways, I never yelp anything. But I loved this store. Go get a bra fitting done by Lisa! I've been sized as a certain measurement for years by at least 3 different stores, and Lisa sized me up as a different measurement. I've never been as comfortable as I am now, with the new measurement and size bra I'm wearing. I'm not your typical girl. I hate chocolate, I own 6 pairs of shoes and 90% of my sweater puppy holders are of the sport variety (that's code for bras). I don't take much joy in shopping or being in retail stores. I have driven by this store a few times and was intrigued by being correctly measured. I decided to come here and see what these ladies could do for me. I figured I'm a big girl now and I need to have a wardrobe, inside and out, that reflects my age. Well, that and Champion bras are only sexy when you have pull ups or running to do; doesn't work so well with a Norma Kamali dress. I was greeted immediately and being kind of shy and nervous I just shot right to the point. "May I be fitted for a bra please?" I kind of felt a nervousness I haven't felt since the first time my Mother slapped me in my first restraining chest harness. The saleslady (I forgot her name already!) was very pleasant and probably sensed that I was nervous and respected me by communicating everything she was planing to do to me. My taste does not venture out into the lacy fields but more into the classic clean look. There is a lot of variety in the store. After about 20 minutes and trying on different varieties I found a few styles that I liked. I have worn the same size for a huge part of my life. Today, my life has been changed. In less than 10 minutes I went up 2 cup sizes and down 5 inches in my band. What?!? OK, first of all, how awesome is that? I get to say I'm a bigger size than I thought AND it's true. It doesn't really mean anything because society has taught us wrong stereotypes for sizing, but it's so dang cool. I didn't realize how poorly my current undergarments looked on me until I wore a properly fitted one. Yes the lingerie and undergarments are expensive but it's well worth it for the service and quality of the higher end products they sell here. Parking is super easy and they sell a lot of little necessities like fashion tape, "nip" covers, special care detergent and strap converters. read more

I agree with one of the other posters that there should be a (-) star rating and this store would get it. The girls who work there are nice and helpful but the owner "crazy Lisa" is horrible and takes all of them down. I have lived in the SM/Montana/Palisades area for many years and have never encountered someone so rude...couldn't get out of that store fast enough. I was looking for the chicken cutlets (gelatin stick on boobs that you where w strapless dresses) and they used to carry them. One of the women was helping me and when she couldn't figure out what i wanted the owner came running over and abruptly handed me something that I didn't want when I told her what i was looking for. I said that wasn't it, and when i further explained she blurted out rudely "my customer doesn't want those" suggesting that not only wasn't I a regular, but that I didn't fit the profile of someone who would shop in her store. She said it in such a rude way that I just looked at her in disbelief and said "wow, OK then...." and left really quickly. Shame on anyone treating a customer that way. In all my years shopping on Montana i have never encountered someone so rude, and arrogant. There are way better stores (on Montana and in the Palisades) if you want great lingerie and accessories. Unless you want to be treated poorly I would not recommend going into this store. Wonder how she stays in business with zero business acumen. read more

This is the first review i've ever written... for anything. But the service in this store was so atrocious I couldn't help myself. I live just a few blocks away and like to support smaller mom and pop shops. When I walked into Footsie (with the intention of walking out with a new, pretty bra) the women behind the counter was on the phone. Clearly, she was talking to a friend. After 5 or so minutes of browsing, she asked her friend to hang on, and asked me, annoyingly "Do you need something?" "A bra, please" I replied. Now, even more annoyed, she got of the phone. We went through the usual routine ... fitting (by her eyeballing it), style, etc. She couldn't fire the questions to me fast enough, and got bras in the dressing room even faster. The first one was so tight around my rib cage it hurt. When I suggested that it was the wrong size she actually said, with plenty of ATTITUDE .... "I don't know what you do for a living, but I wouldn't tell you how to do your job, so don't tell me how to do mine!" Shocked, I quickly got dressed and walked out without a bra. A must go to place for bras. Your boobies with thank you. A properly fitted bra is a life changing experience. I've brought all my friends and relatives here and they have all returned. I even had a friend that was so into the 4 boob VS look and swore she would never wear the 'mom' bra I gifted her, but hasn't taken it off in a year. She retuned and bought three more. The owner is very helpful and hands on. If there is anything that makes you uncomfortable, speak up. I have no issues letting my girls hang loose so I'm in and out rather quickly, but I can see how people who have issues getting undressed in front of others can find the fitting intimidating. This is the first review I have written because sometimes reviews tend to be vengeful even if a lot of effort has been put in by the staff.. I feel this way because I was in retail for thirty five years and feel being helpful and warm is the way to proceed. In this store,the owner is not particularly friendly or helpful, rather she is pretentious and way to busy to help with information. I have been in the store three times and the owner is always on the phone and just too busy to be helpful. I feel when I enter the store that I am always interrupting what ever they are doing at the moment even though no one is in the store. The bra selection is minimal and they do not have the basic black and whites that you might need. If you do not like the feel of the bra they tell you that you obviously do not know anything about bras which makes the person feel foolish instead of informed. I am writing this so maybe they will learn how to talk to customers in a more meaningful and helpful way instead of with contempt. On the other hand, they have some of the best products available. If you like well made, high quality terrific products this is the place. Parking is easy. Since I do not like department stores this is the best store around. I just think they need to be a little more user friendly. read more

No one likes to go bra shopping- it's like going shopping for bathing suits. You have to get naked and then someone awkwardly helps you hook the bra and tells you to lift/tuck etc. It's not fun. I went to Footsie, which came recommended by my sister-in-law, for what I hoped would be a painless and quick trip to the bra store. Well, it was anything BUT that. When I went into the dressing room, the woman working at the store asked me what I was shopping for, to which I responded "a strapless bra and a new pair or Spanx or similar shape ware." Well, her response scarred me for life- it was pretty much the worst thing I've experienced in my 27 years on earth. She told me "oh, well nothing will hide the baby"... I'M NOT PREGNANT! I'm by no means thin, I could use to lose a good 15-20 pounds to get back into a two piece bathing suit, but I definitely am not with child. When I said, "um, I'm not pregnant" she retorted with "you could lose some weight." While she kind of mumble that part, I definitely heard it! I was mortified, embarrassed, and utterly stunned. This woman works in a bra store- I haven't read the handbook on bra-store etiquette, but one would venture to guess that you probably should refrain from making comments like this. How dare she! Believe it or not, I was so flabbergasted and I just wanted to get the damn bra and get out of there - I just let her fit me for a bra and paid for it and ran out. I can't believe I actually gave her money- every time I look at the bra I'm going to think about that awful moment- I actually may burn it! I just couldn't let this go quietly- this was really the most hurtful and disappointing moment I've experienced. read more

I left after my first visit in awe of the difference a really great bra makes, especially when you are big-busted like me. The first time I went in to Footsie, I was looking for a strapless bra to wear to a special event. Lisa had one that was perfect. She showed me how to put the bra on and then she offered to come to my house or meet me at her store on the day of the event and help me with the bra and my dress. I was shocked, who does that these days? My event is tomorrow and I stopped by Footsie today to buy some hose and a slimmer. Lisa asked if I had tried the bra on with the dress. I told her that I had not and she offered to come over today and help me so there would be no surprises. She just left my house and I am confident that everything will go smoothly when she comes over tomorrow because of our practice run. I have been to the store three times in the last 6 weeks and every time I go, a long-time customer comes in to make a purchase. One lady who came in has been shopping with Lisa since she first opened the store 30 years ago. Lisa has built a following here in Santa Monica. So, it's on Montana Ave. which means it's a little pricey, but so worth it! I desperately needed new bras and drive past this store all the time. Based on the Oprah quote posted on the window I really wanted to go in there and buy something. I was greeted very nicely right upon my arrival and informed that they were having a big sale. Score! I was given a proper fitting and waited on very attentively. After being told I have been wearing the wrong bra size for quite some time now, I bought some really comfortable ones in the correct size. I am in love with this store. It changed my life! And even better, it made my clothes fit better. The employees absolutely know what they're talking about. And once you find your correct size, go down the street to Pink Lili and pick out some seriously cute bathing suits that are perfectly sized for you. Yes, the new bras are much tighter than you've ever tolerated before, but after a week, you wonder how you ever dared to leave the house in anything else. I have a very unique size and finding beautiful bras and getting fitted correctly is a huge challenge for me. This shop is the best for getting a good, comfortable fitting bra. I have tried on bras at Nordstroms and Macys but their bras are so inferior in quality and fit. The staff including the owner were so helpful and knew what size and style would work for me. I was the only person in the store and had their complete attention. I felt like someone so special with all the great service! Know you will spend more money than at a dept store but the quality can't be beat plus you are educated on the wear and care of your lingerie to keep them looking great. This little lingerie store was on my list of errands today. I'd driven by many times and saw the window that says they have expert bra fittings. Since I had no idea what size I currently am and was told to buy something supportive, I figured it was a good idea to get fitted. I'm not a fan of Victoria's Secret's products and I surely don't trust their sales associates to put me in the right stuff. So, I swung by Footsie today and was a little disappointed in the small selection. It is a tiny store and if the friendly sales associate hadn't helped me, I probably would have left. She asked if I had time for a fitting, so we went into the dressing room and there I was, naked from the waist up with her measuring me then returning with some ideal bras and basically putting them on me. It solidified the idea that I need to become insanely wealthy so that I can have other people dress me, because it really is better than doing it myself. I'd say that if you're shy and don't want to be in the dressing room, guns out, with a stranger, maybe you're not ready for this place. She brought back bras that were all perfect, and ones I'd have never thought to try on for myself, so even if I did have some shame, the nakedness would have been worth it. I left with a couple things that I'm excited about and I'm confident they're the right size. The store is a tad pricey. The bras I tried on were all $85-$100 each and I also eyeballed some Wolford shirts in the $500 range. For the personalized service and the quality of the products they have, it's about right. Footises has a great selection of bras and lingerie accessories. It is very convenient for me to get refills of bras I have worn for years and the occasional new spanx since I live a couple of blocks away. But a couple of months ago I went in and got "fitted" by them for the first time. They put me in the completely wrong size ( they were very KNOW IT ALL about it, fit experts , hah!) . I guess I was flattered that I was no longer a 38C but a 34DD according to them. But in the end the bra is uncomfortable and does'n't give me any better lift for all that discomfort. I just read many of the online bra fitting guides to see what size I really am. According to ALL the guides online, since I measure 34" under my bust, I should be in a size 38 band. I guess Nordstoms does a better job for fitting. Footsie put me in the wrong size bra. I will continue to shop there, just not get fitted there. read more

Worst customer service experience of my life! I had read the negative reviews on the shop, and specifically, Lisa, the owner. I live in the neighborhood and shopped their for convenience and always had a fine experience. Until today. NEVER AGAIN. Lisa was unimaginably rude. I can't imagine how she runs a business with so little tact or awareness for how to treat customers. I will not spend another penny her in her store and am happily finding a new space to shop where they actually value their customers. read more
