When I called, Julie had me on the phone for over an hour; setting up appointment times to meet, outlining their policies, talking about pregnancy and having small babies. Julie said so many times, "Come meet us... If we're not for you and your family, we are just happy to show you around and show you what's out there." We walked in and I could see each child felt loved. The teachers are keenly aware of the childrens' individual needs. Our daughter is getting ready to join her young preschool friends in a couple months and she is excited. I am excited because she is so well cared for at school. I feel so lucky that she has a place to learn and grow. It's a bonus that she's learned tons of sign language, is singing songs about cleaning up at home, and taking care of her things (like her coat and shoes). I would never hesitate to recommend FKS.

Although she is not old enough to identify why this place is so great, besides the wonderful friends and fun teachers, I can tell that she feels the same way I do since she BEGS me to take her to "her school" each week. They are attentive, caring and kind from the teachers to the office staff (Amy is a rockstar - also a precious teacher to my oldest) to the owners Alexis and Paul. My oldest and I moved to South Carolina for what we thought was forever, but ended up being just a few months, and returned to my daughter RUNNING into her teacher's arms and me getting a big hug from the owner Paul. We knew we were home at that moment. The educational program they follow meant both of my kids entered public schools WELL AHEAD of their classmates. And the teacher turnover is minimal as even after more than 7 years both of my kids had many of the same teachers (AND they remembered my oldest daughter and still recalled specific stories!) My youngest was born just before the pandemic began and entered JTots at about 2 years old. The change in her was DRASTIC after just a few weeks. She went from crying anytime she saw a stranger to open arm hugging everyone. We are going to go back for a visit this week to say hello to her teachers while we're on winter break because she misses them like crazy (especially Jinan!) I also referred a coworker and her son to JTots and they are still there. Her son has some health and learning concerns and she says he is excelling ever since going to JTots.

The first week they kept suggesting my son had some medical issue and that that's why he was so fussy and not ready for daycare. I went to two different pediatricians to make sure he was healthy because LFC kept suggesting my son had an ear infection, gas, etc. Both doctors said he was a healthy, normal baby and that daycare should be able to care for him. After two weeks at LFC, I received an email from the manager saying they would not be able to care for my son after the end of the month because he was too difficult and the teacher could not care for him and the three other kids in his class. I scrambled to find care, and fortunately went to Gretchen's House full time. On his first day Gretchen's House said he did great and they were happy to have him! They have not expressed any issues with our son - he eats all his bottles, sleeps a few hours a day there, and seems happy with the care there. I would be concerned to send any of my children, especially infants to LFC as they do not seem qualified to handle younger babies. I do NOT recommend Little Folks Corner and would stay away.

After having a less than great time with another daycare down the road, we moved both of our sons here. They were 1.5 and 3 at the time, and have since stayed on for another 3 years. We have continually had amazing teachers who work incredibly hard to give 1:1 attention to kids that have different personalities, learning styles, and education levels. There are separate rooms for all different age groups, and they are constantly refreshing stations and activities while staying core to a rigorous and well-researched curriculum. The teachers keep track of the progress of each kid not just personally but through a digital tool that makes for some really productive parent teacher conferences twice a year. I feel spoiled. They love volunteers. They encourage parent feedback. They do science and art and reading and fun summer activities. They aren't just good, they are constantly looking for ways to improve, stay close to parents, keep the staff happy, and the kids excelling. They have flexible plans for payment and even shuttle before and after care to the local elementaries. Did I mention Parent's Night Out once a month, where they take your kids for a few extra hours so you can get a date night, while your kids watch movies in pajamas? Group trips to the local apple orchard? Breakfast with Santa? Water fun days in the summer? Ongoing classroom science experiments? I don't even know how to capture all the amazing in one review.

My daughter was in the Infant 1 program from July 14, 2020-September 1, 2020 when I decided I was…read moreno longer able to safely keep her at Rosebrook after losing all confidence in the facility's ability to feed my daughter her labelled bottles. Over the course of approximately 6 weeks, we experienced inaccurate bottle logs twice (reported to the director), a voicemail from her teacher that she had given my daughter's breast milk bottle to another child (discussed with the director who cited "stress" the teachers were experiencing from another baby crying as the reason my daughter's labelled bottle was given to another child), and finally when unpacking my daughter's bottles on August 31, 2020 I had an empty bottle with another baby's name on the cap in her bag (they later claimed that it was my daughter's bottle...that they had only put the wrong cap back on the bottle and her label with her name had mysteriously washed off...never had happened before). Immediately after finding the other child's name on the bottle, I met with the Director and removed both of my children from the center as a result of all of these incidents. The most disappointing part of the experience was the fact that there never seemed to be accountability...just lots of excuses and inconsistencies. Communication is also an area of opportunity...after I had originally expressed my concern about the bottle log discrepancies there was no follow-up...I ended up following up with the director after I got the voicemail about the wrong bottle. It is shameful that Rosebrook put a mother in a position to have to worry about whether or not her infant was being fed properly while in their care despite reporting concerns on multiple occasions. My baby deserved much better than the sloppy and disorganized "care" she received at Rosebrook.

He's two and knows his ABCs and colors; he sings daily about everything from songs about different types of animals to parts of his body; and he loves his teachers and his classmates. I like that I can trust the center and their staff with my son, and the app is a good tool to stay up-to-date on his potty habits, that he is eating, and how long he is napping. The children seem happy to go the center on most days, and when they are unsettled and tearful, the teacher seems ready to step in with a hug. I love that the staff takes the time to learn the students' names that aren't in their classes and even directors and the cooking staff seem to have a good rapport with the students. I don't have too many worries when he is in "school." And the fact that I don't have to look for a preschool is key. Only issues I do have are sometimes the communication between the teacher or parents is not as smooth as it should be. I wish they could be contacted through the app and not always through a phone call that usually goes through one of the directors then on to the teacher. We have had times where a call for diapers comes up in the app, but we dropped off diapers that morning. It would just be easier to say that directly through the app. Also, multiple times things like sunscreen, water bottles, or other personal items turn up missing. Seems the system of keeping track of what items are which child's could be a little tighter. I feel like my son has the best start to his school life that I could give him at this point. He learns, has friends, and is very verbal about his time at school and what he sees and does. Is it perfect, no. There are always things that can be done better, and the turnover of teachers was pretty nuts for my son's class in the first year, but I think this is a great place for children.

My son is the most precious thing to me in the world and I don't leave him with just anybody and Jade and the staff have proven time and time again that they are there to love and care for the kids. I know that centers are more expensive than in home, but to not have to worry about my sitter canceling or being closed, the kids being unmonitored or my child coming home with multiple bite marks all over his body (this happened... twice) it's well worth the little bit extra a center costs. Also the benefits of being around other children, having music classes and learning social skills is awesome. My child loves it there... it takes 15 minutes to leave because he has to give a hug to every teacher in every classroom. I've recommended several friends here and I'm telling you too, go see them. I'll be there... I'll be the one with the lil guy running from room to room for hugs.
