Based on those assurances, I trusted her to move the case forward appropriately and in a timely manner. However, despite nearly two years of representation, she ultimately chose to drop my case with only about two months remaining before the statute of limitations expired. This left me in an extremely difficult position, with very limited time to secure new representation and protect my legal rights. The most concerning part of this experience was not just the decision to withdraw, but the prolonged period of inaction combined with consistent reassurances that everything was under control. This created a false sense of security and ultimately put my case at serious risk. I understand that attorneys may decide to withdraw from cases for various reasons, but doing so after such a long period-especially so close to a critical legal deadline-demonstrates a lack of professional responsibility and consideration for the client's situation.
