Warning to any potential patient that if you don't confirm via telephone call, they will cancel your appointment.

After my initial appointment and x-rays, he asked for a few days to review my information and x-rays to determine the best treatment for me. I sincerely appreciated the time he gave to me personally to determine the best course of care for my situation. On the day of surgery, Dr. Mitchell discussed the treatment plan again. He was assisted by Denise and at times, Stephanie. Dr. Mitchell and team are some of the most competent, caring and compassionate care I've received! They addressed any concerns I had. Dr. Mitchell phoned me the evening of my surgery to see how I was doing and an associate phoned me the next morning to check on me again. I even attached my X-ray to show you guys how a nerve was running right near my bottom left wisdom tooth and my doc told me it's going to be a challenge but he can do it. He successful removed all 4 and sent me home with zero pain medicine other than ibuprofen. My husband called back for me later that evening stating I was crying and in pain needed something strong. (Side note: I've NEVER taken ANY pain medicine before, I've never had a surgery or broken a bone.) My doc gave me two days worth of Vicodin. They did NOT work and made me extremely nauseous because I couldn't eat anything. I called back two days later in tears wondering when I would feel some relief and receptionist said my doc wanted to see me because he's worried about infection. I go in and there is no infection and no dry sockets. He said I will be in pain for a COUPLE of weeks and that it's going to take some time. And prescribed me Percocet (lowest dose, two days worth) They helped tremendously, I was able to eat and sleep for two days. I called back to get a refill because I'm still in SO much pain when it wears off. When the receptionist answered and I asked for a refill she said "Um ma'am you know it's really concerning that you need another refill, normally people don't need pain medicine a week after surgery". She legit made it sound like I was abusing prescription. Meanwhile I'm in tears while I'm typing this because of how much pain I'm in. Every time I called to ask if this much pain it normal they always made me feel this way. I don't understand, they legit told me that my wisdom teeth were some of the worst impacted teeth they have seen and it was really hard to get them out. I wouldn't recommend them for your wisdom teeth cause once they have your money they don't care how you feel afterwards. They make you feel crazy for being in pain and just wanting some relief. Well the receptionist don't care at least.

Yes, dental work makes me uncomfortable and the bite into my wallet is never that great but with my insurance the cost was practically nothing and well worth it to have Dr. Szyszka and staff work on my teeth. They have been able to work with my work schedule and are honest about what my portion out of pocket will be. I have had a crown and several fillings, a deep teeth cleaning, planning and de-breavment all with a successful and painless outcome! :))) Oh, and one more important thing, the front office staff is super friendly as well. This is not the case with some medical offices. Everyone who works here is great!!

I had a tooth pulled and a crown done both because my previous dentist failed on my bridge (only had it for two to three years). And the pain the day of and after is almost non existent. That alone is an unbelievable task!! And another thing that made me a believer and eased my anxiety level; my previous dentist told me I needed a root canal as well as the other tooth pulled. When Dr. Maltby got me in the chair he discovered I did not need that root canal and saved my tooth and my pocketbook instead. From the minute I met him, he made me feel understood and accepted. I sometimes am embarrassed going to the dentist. Feel like I'm being judged or something. He truly made me feel very comfortable and trusting of his ability and his attitude towards me. So long story short; go!! He's a good one. It's always hard (at least for me) to go to the dentist. But at least here, the staff and the dentist go out of their way so you feel as welcomed and comfortable as is possible.

(August 2026) Horrible Dentist office which is only focused on making money. Previously Dr…read moreDoerner and now Aspire Dental which apparently use the same business practice and records. Had two visits for cleanings which should have been covered by insurance. Each time I was told everything would be covered after I paid my copay. Then a short time later, I received a bill saying I owed them more money because a deep cleaning was more expensive., (up charge not discussed) The first visit was 2024, When I questioned the office staff I was told "oh that is just the corporate office who does our billing". I was told, "don't worry about the charge, we will handle it as the charge does not look accurate". I received two additional bills in the mail and when I went in person to question this charge, I was told by a different receptions that I did owe the money to them and was required to pay it, I reluctantly paid. The second visit was in (2025). I went in for a cleaning and the same thing happened, when I went to pay my bill, I was charged more than what was quoted and covered by my insurance. I again reluctantly paid what they said I owed, and decided that I would never use this office again due to the shady way they up charge and bill their customers. I do not normally write reviews But..... Now in 2026 I received a bill in the mail saying I owed them money for the above described procedures that I reluctantly paid in their office!!! I am not being billed by Dr Doerner but now Aspire Dental. It is hard to fathom that I am being requested to pay a bill that is supposedly over two yeas old, and paid in person in the office. And the real kicker is I have bank transactions from my bank account showing these payments were made for the exact amount they are trying to bill me for in 2026. The Wonderfull part was when I tried to call no one answered and was requested to leave a message so they could call me at their convince. Still haven heard from them. Upon reading reviews of this office, both previous Dentist, and now the current Aspire, I see quite a few complaints similar to mine. It appears they have a new name but the same business model and scams. Absolutely horrible business practice, with upcharging, and non existent customer service. Avoid this place at all costs no matter what name is on the sign out front.
