We arrived in bus so no issues We arrived with nothing to sled but figured we can play in snow. As I walked @ more I noticed they had a section of sleds available, you use, and put back! I loved the sounds from the flowing stream that hugged the trail we walked on. Just as we were ready to end our walk, the Nature Center had opened up, so we stepped inside. The staff member who was in there was super nice and answered the many questions we had about wildlife in the area. There were taxidermied animals from the area, so it was neat to learn about them, too. They had plenty of reading materials, too. This was walking distance from the Manor Lodge, Ford Park, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and Vail Village. If you're looking for an area to come walk, while you're visiting the area, this is a perfect place to stroll while drinking your morning coffee or tea. I hope to back in the near future.

The area was so lovely as we walked right next to Gore Creek. It was a beautiful, natural spot a very short way from the center of Vail Village . Parking was easy and the free buses took us right to the trail leading down to the Nature Center. The wildflower walk was about 1 hour but she told us about 2 or 3 other loop trails in the area. They have a water slide that they allow younger children to go with adults on and it's quite fast. There's a hot tub area, a lab pool area, as well as a climbing wall in the swimming area for older children. They also have a steam room and a sauna. Changing area looks like it was done relatively recently. It's quite nice. They have men's room, a women's locker room and a communal room which is perfect for families with small children. If Keystone or Breckenridge area I would definitely be checking that out again.

Dillon Reservoir, sometimes referred to as Lake Dillon, is located in Summit County, Colorado, south of I-70 and bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon. It is a reservoir for the city of Denver, and its waters are under the control of Denver Water. Popular ski areas are close to the reservoir, including Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Breckenridge. During the winter months, ice fishing and snowmobiling are common activities. For warmer months, the towns of Dillon and Frisco each have marinas on the reservoir. The Dillon Marina is open pretty much during the season and hundreds of sailboats can be seen docked or sailing. Due to Dillon Reservoir's proximity to the towns of Dillon, Silverthorne, and Frisco, the lake has many lodging, camping, and RV facilities. The reservoir has a popular 18 miles paved bike path that winds around the entire reservoir. The path can be accessed at any point around the reservoir. The views from any angle are worth the drive to this beautiful lake.

Every summer our family visits Adventure Ridge in Vail, and every year I hope it will return to…read morewhat it once was. Unfortunately, each summer has been more disappointing than the last. The biggest issue is the value. We paid around $200 per child, yet the price never seems to be adjusted when major attractions are closed or unavailable. The ropes course hasn't reopened since 2020, but it's still standing there, slowly deteriorating. The summer tubing hill has been reduced to just two lanes, while the rest is simply a dirt mound. The adult zip line is now closed as well. Year after year, there seem to be fewer attractions, yet the admission price continues to increase. Adventure Ridge used to be a highlight of our Vail vacations. Now it feels like you're paying premium prices for a much smaller experience. If you're considering visiting, keep your expectations low, because the pricing certainly won't be.

The only activities available to them were the trampoline, climbing wall, and mountain coaster--which is now limited to just three rides. Given that there were no lines during our visit and staff were literally sitting around, it felt unreasonable to restrict the coaster, especially given the amount of closed activities. Adding to the frustration, the rides that were not open were not clearly marked on their website or at the ticket counter, leaving families with far fewer options than advertised or communicated at the time of purchase. Unlike other resorts, Vail charges $64 per person for a ride that is operating regardless of ridership. Combined with the limited activities and lack of transparency, this left us feeling that we received little value for an extremely high price. Not worth the exorbitant price tag.
