Dates of visit: August 7 + August 14, 2025…read more It never fails that a visit to the dermatologist is always something you schedule months in advance, which is always so odd to me considering that all of my derm appointments tend to be less 30 minutes or less. What is everyone else doing that takes so long!? At any rate, I really appreciated that I could use their text service to make an appointment; I spend a lot of my time in meetings and calls so finding uninterrupted time to make these kinds of requests can be tricky sometimes. Making matters worse was that I was traveling while trying to get an appointment for a spot on my face, making this service wonderful for me. Within seconds I was told that I had a cyst and we not only talked through options for removal, it was done then and there! I had to go back in a week to take out the sutures and that appointment actually took longer than the removal. I also got a call in-between appointments advising the status of the cyst, too, which I appreciated. Really the only issue I had was the intense bruising that occurred on my face that I wasn't warned about--it was so bad I was telling people that I may or may not be in a secret fight club! The nurse at the suture removal appointment seemed surprised by the bruising but didn't speak to it and it wasn't on the post-care sheet I received, either.

My…read moreoriginal doctor has since retired.. so, I went to the site that listed doctors that worked w the brand of implants I have, and Dr Dembny was one listed. Now, I'm not just going to pick the first one on the list. I'm gonna stalk the sh!t out him! Which I did! Bio, awards, glowing reviews, experience.. Sold! Got in for an appointment right after the holidays and I couldn't be more impressed. From the easy to get to location, the friendly staff, and Dr Dembny himself. All appeared to be just what I was looking for. Since this was an unexpected 'event', they were able to help me w finance options as well. (Phew!) Fast forward to surgery day. Was met with the most awesome nurse Jay.. who answered all my ridiculous questions.. took the time to listen and just be his awesome self. I believe there was an Amy on staff- equally nice (but I didn't have a chance to interact w her as much- but she seemed super cool too) The anesthesiologist came in- what a contagious smile!! Love him!! (Even tho I told him to make sure I wake up!! And apologized for the fact I wasn't allowed to wear deodorant ) He was professional and kind. Knocked me out and kept me out for my 3? hour surgery. It was a wonderful, much needed rest. I forget his name, but he was the bomb!! (A competent anesthesiologist is always a good thing..) I believe there was a Jenni on staff too- but I only met her right before getting put under, so my memory is a bit foggy. She was also equally personable. The whole staff was incredible. I highly recommend going here. Dr Dembny is truly amazing. While my surgery is less than 24 hours old- I can already tell he did an outstanding job. He was absolutely professional with all the measurements he took. Never once making me feel uncomfortable. Between first consultation and surgery, I had numerous questions that he and Cathy answered so graciously without making me feel like I was bothering them. Communication was quick and at the ready. Jay called this morning to answer a few more questions and make sure I was feeling ok-LOVE HIM!! (Yeah- I get its his job- but he was just SO nice! Incredible bed side manner! They are lucky to have him on their staff) I will have my follow up appointment in a week and a half or so, and can honestly say, I'm so incredibly thankful for Dr Dembny and his staff for being the relatable professionals they are. They have made this entire process easy. They offer so many other services, that should I be inclined to pursue something else- PSA is hands down the only place I would go. Highly highly recommend!!! Update: Went in for my two week follow up.. Still extremely impressed with the facility and Dr Dembny's bedside manner. They are all truly caring people, and Dr Dembny makes everything easy to understand, answers any questions I may have, and totally puts you at ease. I need to win the lottery, as they offer so many different services that I'd love to try!! Thank you Dr Dembny and your staff for just being you and offering 5 star service!

Last year, when Dr. Oosterbaan brought it up during my annual appt, she was fairly understanding and made some good recommendations. Fast forward to this year and my weight came up again and she basically encouraged me to develop an eating disorder if I wanted to lose weight... She suggested I skip breakfast, eat three hard boiled eggs for lunch, and have plain grilled chicken on top of a bed of plain lettuce for dinner. And if I wanted a snack at all during the day to have a cheese stick. She also said that peanut butter and nuts are too caloric, and that I should never eat those. And forget about carbs! She said pasta and bread are a huge no no (even in moderation) and that she never eats carbs. What was I supposed to say? Congratulations on depriving yourself of tasty foods? She was also super abrasive and rude when she said she wouldn't write me a prescription for Ozempic (which, I never asked for one and wasn't planning on asking for it!) She brought it up on her own. I've never left an appointment feeling so horrible about myself, but there's a first time for everything and thanks to Dr. Oosterbaan, that's exactly how I felt. If this is how she treats someone who isn't considered "overweight", I'm scared to imagine how she treats someone who is. Two and a half weeks later and I'm still disgusted by this conversation. I'll find someone else who treats their patients with respect and understanding, which you won't get with her.
