I was turned off when I saw that they don't submit to insurance as I'm a teacher with a low salary, but I'm so glad I didn't cancel my appointment. First, this isn't an impersonal clinic experience. There is a full consultation with honest travel tips to stay healthy and a full explanation of options, side effects, etc. I thought I had to do research before I went, but their thorough but simple online portal that you create before your appointment made Laura incredibly knowledgeable about my travel and able to anticipate my questions/ concerns. The packet of information with travel tips as well as the low down on each vaccine was helpful for future reference too. Second, they (Laura) are truly looking out for you as a traveler. She made recommendations based on future travel and not just this one trip, which will save me time and money in the end. I didn't feel as though she was trying to get me to spend more money, but simply thinking of what is needed for my health/comfort and that's it. If you are at all nervous or new to vaccinations or unsure of what to get, it is 100% worth paying the extra money and gambling if your insurance will take anything later to go to Passport Health. They (Laura especially) will put you at ease and save you a lot of Googling

My wife and in-laws love her no-nonsense style and referred me to her after using her for years. Normally I would feel uncomfortable with a female doctor, but it's something about that Old World charm when you turn your head and cough that let's you know it's all business. Everything is over and done with quick so you're not left waiting. Doctor appointments seem to be quicker here than any other doctor, and that's good when you're nervous about all the people around you coughing out the Black Plague. A couple years back I had a problem with waking up with sinus pressure and I thought I was allergies, but I would take allergy medicine and it would barely help. Now I'm barely ever sick, so I was clueless and asked her if she knew anything I can do. She prescribed me this nasal spray, I only use it about twice a month but I wake up with the sinus pressure a lot less now. She's a miracle worker!

I have a little bit of "doctor phobia" and both the staff & the doctor are super kind & understanding. I rarely have to wait past my appointment time and am often seen a few minutes early. Exams have been comprehensive and Dr. Brand is thorough in explaining things & answering questions. What really sets him apart, IMO, is the personal touch. The day after my appointments, I get a call from him to personally review my results. Just last week, I had my first mammogram (yay for turning 40...) and I had a call with the results just THREE hours later. Does your doctor do this? If the answer is "no" you might want to ask, "why not?"

I have never in my life had a positive experience in a medical setting (doctors,hospitals, surgery's) I walked down the stairs after having the coronavirus and I was completely exhausted and out of breath. (Not normal I've never experienced asthma like symptoms) so I went to urgent care to get looked at. Turns out I have pneumonia in my right lung and some blockage in my lungs (from covid weakening my lungs and immune system). So mentally and physically I have been drained the last few weeks. But the people at Aurora Urgent Care today you are all going to heaven!!! From the ladies at the front desk being so patient and polite to me! Then nurse understanding I was nervous so giving me distracted questions before taking my blood pressure, the X-ray tech talking to me about Norwegian heritage and lefse and the doctor telling me I had pneumonia. I've never been so happy to be given bad news! In today's world people are trash. But EVERY SINGLE person at Aurora today was absolute gem. I might fake illnesses in the future to come back. 5/5 would recommend these people are worth reviewing!

It took approximately three in-person visits and four phone calls to Aurora for them FINALLY to get it right. That's in addition to several calls to the pharmacy itself (non-Aurora), who told me no, Aurora had to handle this. Come ON: people change insurance all the time. It should NOT have taken THREE MONTHS and all that work to make a simple change.

The support staff here are slow, ignorant, incompetent, inconsiderate, dismissive, and callous. Dr. Tucker has been my primary care physician for 9 years. I had gone to him for pains in my back…read morethat I knew weren't muscular, and he ran a battalion of tests (his motto is "I've never been sued for running too many tests") and found what a doctor I'd seen the day before had missed - "the most bacteria he'd ever seen" in my kidneys. He is very kind, very thorough and has even offered to call my mom to discuss diagnoses so that I didn't have to do it (I'm in my 30's). :) Hi nurse, Patty, is amazing as well. They both remember things you've mentioned in past visits, and are so friendly. I always feel very comfortable there.
