They ignored online applications that are available on their website. They berated me when they were unaware of what was on their own website and then got increasingly defensive instead of just understanding their mistake and moving on to scheduling an appointment. They failed to cover important details that consistently delayed my appointment. It was wild. To top it off, they called me and canceled my appointment because evidently the original woman was overheard berating a referred patient and god forbid you realize you were wrong about what was offered on your website and move on. Just baffling in the lack of professionalism. Thanks for the anxiety attack!

All of the dental records (x-rays, charts) are stored digitally by computer. Above the dental chair is a flat panel monitor which shows your chart, xrays, and digital images of your teeth and gums. Previously, I couldn't see the back of my mouth at my former dentists. Cool fish screensaver on the monitor!! It's definitely worth the drive from the Merrimack Valley to the Seacoast for my dental needs!! My supervisor now goes to Dr. Nesvold for his dental needs too!!

She answered my insurance questions and introduced me to Dr. Nesvold. He (along with his dental assistant Kathy) spent about an hour with me the first appointment and we agreed to do a thorough cleaning at a later date. That appointment went smoothly and they took extra special care knowing I'm incredibly sensitive to pain (I'm a bit of a baby). He referred me to an oral surgeon in the area (Dr. De Tolla in Portsmouth- also fantastic) for wisdom teeth removal. I didn't meet his hygienist, Cheryl, until a few visits later but she's just as friendly and helpful as everyone else there! I've now been going there for several years and I can't say enough good things. I've now converted a sister and my boyfriend over to the office and plan to keep recommending Atlantic Family Dental to friends and family.

Something to note, Dr Amidon was going through a person loss that was happening at the same time yet took the time to see me. The office staff is terrific and accommodating and for someone like me (who doesn't enjoy dental procedures) it helps that they are all so kind and patient. Easy to get to, COV safe and easy parking.
