She answered all my questions and made the whole process smooth and easy--it was truly a pleasure speaking with her! I can't wait for a one-bedroom to become available closer to August so I can move in. You just don't get that kind of service anywhere else! Thank you again Erin

I did not get my deposit back . The apartment had stains on carpet when I moved in and I had to…read moreclean the apartment myself as it had not been done. I was given a $25 discount to clean it myself. I then had my apartment professionally shampooed as I always do when I move out and apartment was immaculate. Except I guess I forgot to clean out the crumbs in the very bottom of the oven. They changed the carpet when I left and said that it needed replaced because of me although I have my own pics to show that the carpet was in better shape when I moved out then when I moved in. The only pics they sent me to show it needed replaced was the underside after they tore it up. Normal wear and tear and crumbs should not be worth what was charged. They kept $35 of my deposit to clean out the crumbs and the rest to replace the carpet that already needed replaced. I talked to the office manager Amy Ford who gave me info to the Edward Rose Bloomfield Hills property owner office. She said I could file a dispute with them, which I did several weeks ago. I have heard nothing from them.

Our experience with Cathy Algas (of Adam Merrick Team) was amazing! Like with most home buyers, our…read morehome buying experience began MONTHS before we were ready to buy. At first, we would just scroll through the site and see whats out there, while paying off debt and saving money for our downpayment. The first time Cathy messaged us to see what stage we were in and if we needed help....we didn't at the time. We explained we were just looking. She didn't pressure us, said keep her in mind when we were ready.....and we did. We got closer to being ready to buy a home, and we would message her with questions. She answered all of them within minutes not hours or days, yet we still we're ready, still no pressure. Eventually we were ready, even got underwriter approved (not just preapproved). Cathy and Jennifer (Jennifer was in training at the time, very nice, understanding, and willing to help too) wasted no time showing us homes, working with our crazy work schedules. Over the months leading up to home buying I had saved over 64 homes, Cathy helped us to narrow this list down by listening to our needs, and wants. The best part.... When we found our home, something went wrong with the lender we were using we found out late on a Sunday night. I messaged Cathy and she called me right away. By 9 am on Memorial day (a holiday mind you) she had a lender calling us. They went through everything with us, and was totally amazing. We ended up getting a better rate and service. To top it all off, Adam Merricks team, is taking our family of 7 to kartville as a thank you, how awesome.....our 5 kids are so excited!

Adam Merrick treats everyone below him like they don't have money and even treats his own employees in office like they are slaves to him. If you are renting an apartment from him, you already know how his maintenance is crap and cheap and how his crap service guy Randy ruins more then he fixes. Do not ever trust or him! He recently traveled to Florida and has new pictures on his instagram. 3333 N Federal Hwy #634 in Fort Lauderdale, FL since August 2019. Adam Merrick, the principal of Adam Merrick Real Estate in East Peoria, is not facing any publicly reported criminal charges or official government legal actions. However, there is a strong consensus of negative sentiment and local criticism regarding the firm's business practices.Locally, the brokerage has drawn heavy community scrutiny and complaints. Javier Lopez came out to look at our project. Once we accepted his bid, his crew showed up exactly when they promised. The crew was the hardest working group I have seen in a long time. The work they did was excellent. They fixed everything we requested. I can't say enough good things about them. I would definitely recommend DGO!

We found the perfect townhouse or so we thought. We were shown a unit by Marc Wells that was Immaculate! It had great carpet, great paint job , new appliances- you name it it had it, it was perfect for us! Well after switching my daughter to Washington school district and packing up - we went to meet him to sign the lease . We were informed on the way to meet him that we would be renting the unit next door. We didn't think anything of it until we were shown the unit. It was like night and day compared to the one we were shown and thought we were getting. The carpet was dingy not to mention not even secured down as well as having spots of paint throughout. Don't even get me started on the paint job ! There was different shades of paint throughout the house and must be very cheap paint because I have children and as we all know things get on the wall and I can't even wipe them off without all the paint coming off of the wall ! This is definitely a bigger inconvenience having the same paint in the kitchen! The sliding glass door handle was put on backwards so my children smash their fingers every time they try to close the door. There is huge defect in the ceiling that is ugly - I can only assume it from a leak upstairs. The vanity in one on the bathrooms is warped from water damage as well. The boards of the floor slip apart and cause very unsightly visual gaps, we have a refrigerator that half works- it looks nice on the outside but doesn't produce ice, so what's the point. Walk-in closet had shelving in it that apparently was ripped down from the previous tenants that was left with bars sticking out of it. To say we are dissatisfied is an understatement but we had already moved our things into a storage unit and switchd our daughter school districts so we had no other choice but to sign the lease with him promising to have everything fixed. We signed our lease end of January maybe beginning of February and none of the issues have been addressed ! He did come over and paint if that's what you want to call it but it was done half-assed as well. I have spent more time and effort cleaning this unit then I ever have spent on any other place I have ever lived- it looks a million times better now than it did when we moved in. I have spent time shampooing carpets , removing paint spots from cabinets, flooring, the baseboards were disgusting, and when we pulled out the stove and refrigerator- I about vomited at the amount of dirt that was behind them! I feel like I should have been paid a deposit to move in here. We are going to fulfill our lease and we pay our rent every month but we will definitely not be renewing our lease nor renting from him ever again! I don't know if this would be acceptable to others but it definitely was not and is not acceptable to me! I had much higher expectations when moving to Washington and I was sadly let down.
