Mass General for 1 month,then Spaulding rehabilitation hospital in Cambridge. After several months she was ready for the excellent services provided by the staff at Golden View Acute Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Meredith, New Hampshire. She received exceptional care from all of the staff. The ReHab services were exactly what she needed. The Food was great. The Staff always went the extra mile to make sure that my wife's needs were met. Courteous and professional, they were exceptional. I am so pleased with everything at GoldenView, I tell people that it reminds me of a Marriott facility. This is the highest recommendation one can receive. Thank You.

This is how we got bamboozled . After rehab our father had to go into assisted living and that's when it all went to hell . Same floor but you walk through the doors and the care changes dramatically. The lack of care and compassion is astonishing. The upper management is atrocious and takes no accountability . We really wanted to make it work but our father was neglected, dirty , covered in sores and the list goes on .Their LNA's and PCA's that actually care for your loved one are expected to also clean their rooms and do all meals . When is there time to care for your parent ? The answer is very little . They are asked to do so much with only 2 of them on the floor, no wonder your loved one isn't getting care or attention. Care plan meetings are a joke where they pretend like they actually care but then there is no follow through or communication. The people in charge of the care plans are the worst because they actually no NOTHING about your loved one and no one reads their chart .They were giving unauthorized medication to my father and when we asked about it they stated "We are not giving it to him it's just on the list ". Come to find out that was a lie and they were giving it to him after we specifically said that was not our wishes multiple times . If you love your parent DO NOT send them here for assisted living, they will suffer .

We hired home care workers to provide meal preparation and driving services and generally assure that my relative was safe. His condition was deteriorating but he wanted to maintain as much independence as possible and be in places he loved. But we received far more than that. Workers responded to his desire to 'explore' the area and look for new places to sit each day. She helped him move residences. We received comprehensive reports of the visits on the family home site; listening to a description of his day and changes in his condition was helpful in deciding how to proceed with care. We received phone calls when there was a concern that the workers thought needed to be addressed quickly. Phone calls often lasted for 30 minutes. Heather was willing to deal with several different members of our family. She responded quickly to emails from the family.With great skill, she communicated when she thought additional assistance was needed, when John's condition was changing, when she thought he needed a different level of care. Heather cared about and respected John And I am confident he knew that and benefitted from the sense of being treated like a person, not a patient. She was our eyes -- and we got 20/20 help. I have had the WORST experience with them. They get 1 star for the fact that the care giver is…read morenice, and responsible. But the office and management has screwed up every single thing since the first discussion. So instead of making me feel supported, they've made my life more complicated and frustrating. They screwed up the initial consultation, the initial evaluation, the way to talk to my parents, the paperwork, the billing, the communication within the office as to what's needed. And when I finally got a care giver (1 month after our signing the paperwork) and I thought, "great, now I can just deal with them directly." TLC said no, please call us to approve any changes. There were no changes. More miscommunication. And as you can see, I'm incredibly direct in how I communicate. They don't listen. They don't communicate within the office (case-in-point: I JUST got off the phone with TLC now, and someone from TLC called me 2 minutes later to have the identical discussion because she didn't know I'd just talked to someone). I'm done.
