I was a little leery because they didn't have a website where you could see the different floral arrangements. I am a visual person and need to see what things look like rather than imagining what they might look like. I spoke with Megan who was very friendly and patient. I told her that I wanted flowers delivered that afternoon and asked if it was possible. She told me they would be able to do that. I gave her an amount that I wanted them to stay within and a general idea of what I wanted. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, lol. Well there was no need to worry. My relative got the arrangement and absolutely loved it! I even got a call from Megan letting me know that the arrangement had been delivered. I would use Fernwood Flowers for future floral arrangements and definitely recommend them!

She wasn't sure if they had business ties with that particular country, so she checked. They did not have the ability to send to Brazil, but she gave me a few local shops around town that she thought could help. Now, you know you are getting good service, if a salesperson suggests their competition to you, because they did not have what you asked for. I received confirmation of my order immediately, received another email picturing the actual flower arrangement and a 3rd email letting me know it was delivered. Very impressive!! I needed a beautiful birthday arrangement for my Nana that is in a long term care facility in Lake…read moreCity and preferably same day delivery. I live on the west coast and had tried days before trying to place an online order with TelaFlora and 800-Flowers. It was an absolute nightmare and they both kept saying there was no guarantee on any delivery at all. So I took a chance and called the first florist I could find for the area. The nicest lady answered first thing and was so patient in my very specific requests of which flowers couldn't be used and what colors I preferred. When I asked about same day delivery, she assured it would be done but perhaps later in the day due to their water not working when I called. Not only was she respectful, polite, and patient with me, but she absolutely went above and beyond on the floral arrangement I ordered. She made the entire process so easy for me and even delivered much sooner than I expected that day. My Nana was overjoyed with the arrangement and this was coming from a woman that owned a flower shop herself for more than 20 years. Online, based on the arrangement I ordered from this shop, I would have paid nearly $40 more at least. And... my best friend who also wanted to send my Nana flowers for her birthday had already placed an online order with another Lake City florist who cancelled last minute due to supply issues. So I told my bestie to call this florist immediately and she did! Even though she called later in the day for an arrangement, they still got it delivered same day and her arrangement was just as beautiful! They have a great variety of beautiful flowers, trees, shrubs, baskets, and not to mention fountains, iron decor, wind chimes and so much more. The staff are friendly and can answer any questions.
